Be inspired by the natural Philippine beach life, the richness of nature and an imaginative, creative and peaceful environment. Experience the moment, the natural tranquillity and adventurous activities, diverse impressions and perspectives. Listen to the sound of the sea, become acquainted with new cultures and people and enjoy delicious food and positive vibes during your much longed-for timeout. The camp grounds encompass a spacious area with over hundred palm trees — 1,5 ha in size. About 20 guests live in individually designed dwellings suited to different budgets and tastes — two villas, two chalets, two open huts, as well as a five room guest house. All the accommodation has an unparalleled view of the sea, as well as a loving attention to detail. Cabuyao village is 60 km from the airport and the island capital, Puerto Princesa City. The 1-2 hour-long journey alone is an experience: A mix of country roads and off-roads, traveling through the beautiful jungle to the other side of the island. The secluded location and the tranquillity of the fishing village, our do-it-yourself mentality and ingenious leisure activities contribute to making you relaxed, well-balanced and happy. All the accommodation has an unparalleled view of the sea, as well as a loving attention to detail. Eat. Stay. Love. SLOW FOOD We cook slow food, mainly vegetarian, with seasonal, regional ingredients. The Philippine cuisine is creatively supplemented with our own ideas and experience, as well as influence from Thailand and Europe. Hence you can enjoy individual, delicious meals with the typical "Kaibigan taste". Special highlights at the camp: Sunset barbecues with freshly caught fish from the fishermen, home-baked bread, home-made smoothies, lemonade and iced tea, as well as fresh coconut water from our palm trees. For shared cooking sessions we have set up an outdoor kitchen with open fireplaces and cooking grates. A great way to encourage the exchange between guests and the crew and become acquainted with the traditional cuisine. LEISURE TIME Sun, beach and the sea are the basic ingredients for a pleasant holiday. At our camp there are numerous other things that also make the trip unforgettable: We offer you yoga and cooking courses or organize excursions by boat and basketball games with the village team. Those who want to climb a coconut palm and then skillfully crack open the nut themselves with a machete, can learn that here. One very authentic way of exploring the bay is with a little baruto boat and paddle. Other shorter activities are swimming and rambling. And those who simply want to relax can do this at any time in our garden, in tree houses or in original chill-out zones on the beach. There is also a little street art gallery with local and european art works. Those who want to test their boundaries can go on a guided jungle tour with Tribu hill people we are friends with, including sleeping outdoors. Or they can take part in a fishing excursion lasting several days, out in the open sea with an outrigger boat belonging to a local fisherman. In Tagalog, the language of the Philippines, the word “Kaibigan” means "friendship" or "amorous liaison", depending on how it is pronounced. Both translations reflect our relationship to foreign countries and cultures. The term also symbolizes a sense of togetherness, which is very important to us. Our undertaking would never have succeeded without the help of many friends. Their personal input on location, as well as their experience and suggestions, were full of valuable information and advice. This energy can be felt everywhere and is only one out of many reasons for the positive vibes you will feel here right away. Welcome to Kaibigan Soul Camp!

Been living on the island for over 20 years and never heard of this place until now. We found it by chance on a motorbike ride so paid the place a visit. Wonderful native accommodation blending in with the nature. Wonderful food at a reasonable price. We were on motorbikes so it was easy for us to get to, otherwise you have to take shuttle van or other transport to Napsan and trike for the remaining 10 kms or so. There is a nice bar/restaurant, only a stone throw from the sea. Perfect place to relax , but far away from shops, bars, towns. Ideal if this is what you are after. I thought the accommodation was a little on the pricey side. Friendly hosts, and small shop selling a few items that tourists may need.

I was very surprised by the positive rating. We've seen a rundown pothead-housing. Dirty beach (broken glass), but anyway unusable because of the razor-sharp coral fells, which one sees only at low tide. The camp is located in a swampy area full of mosquitoes and completely secluded. In order not to eat expensive in the camp you have to drive 20 miles. Everything, including attractions are 20 miles away. See description!. If you like it all, you'll be in good hands there.

Tucked away on the western shores of Palawan Island, only a wee bit over an hours drive from Puerto Princesa Town, one finds the Kaibigan Soul Camp - offering various types of accommodation catering to every guests needs & budget. The stunning Eco-resort is of a boutique size and the staff and owners are cool folks, welcoming you warmly with genuine hospitality. I have spend 5 wonderful days at the camp, enjoying the sea, beach walks and plenty of reading time on the hammocks by the beach. It truly is a marvelous place, the perfect spot to relax, unwind, recharge and switch off [literally, as there is no phone or WiFi signal reception at all]. And between all the relaxation and doing nothing, the team cooked up daily feats of very yummy local dishes. Don’t miss your daily kick of young coconut! If time allows I will return to stay again in a heartbeat, but I guess this hidden gem will soon become very popular. Thank you Team Kaibigan!

What can I say about this place. It was just the perfect place to unwind without cell phones for 5 nights. Visited kaibigan soul camp with my besties on a girls trip. It was just amazing. Thanks to the hosts for providing us with what we needed exactly. Silke, Eli, Pascal much love to you guys for everything. The dogs fluffy, napa and madiba were a wonderful addition to our holiday. The food was amazing and every night they will set a bonfire. We will sit on the hammocks listening to the waves, watching the stars and just having conversations with the guests as well as the owners. Everyone is friendly and has something to share. For those with food preferences, you just need to let them know prior so they can prepare food designed to your diet. Everything was freshly made and organic. The daily fish was freshly caught by the local fishermen. Will Definately visit again Note: the sunsets were amazing

I went to the camp with some trepidation. Booked by my son it came with all mod cons. Well none actually. No wifi. (can you imagine a wifi free holiday). On the good side this will deter any partying 20somethings who really CAN.NOT.BREATHE. without being connected. No hot water (not a problem when its 35 outside) No power hungry a/c (or even an electric fan). Now this proved to be no problem for me, maybe as Ive spent many an airless night in stifling heat in a small boat in the equator (in a previous life), but for some well maybe it is not for you. Now the food. The food is heavenly. All home made all for you

We didn't want to do the classic Land-In-Palawan-And-Immediately-Go-to-El-Nido route that most travelers do so we did some research and stumbled upon Kaibigan Soul Camp. This place was great. It was off the traditionally beaten path. Great bungalows looking out at the water, DELICIOUS food (seriously, amazing), really cool and accommodating owners and a chilled out vibe. There were four of us and we rented a private bungalow. It was worth the ~2 days and 2 nights we spent there. I think any more than 3 nights and 3 days would be a bit much for us just because it's definitely on the quieter/more relaxed side - but if that's your thing, then you'll love it. Also, they really strive for a small carbon footprint and sustainability best practices which we love. The ONLY reasons that this place didn't get 5 stars was for a few small and not hugely important reasons: 1.) They don't have A/C or Fans - This can be a problem if it gets really hot there and it was when we first arrived but it cools down A LOT at night, too. Just something to keep in mind. 2.) If you don't have international cell service, they don't have WiFi, which isn't a bad thing, but if you need to let family or friends of your safe arrival, you're out of luck. 3.) They ran out of cold beers when we were there! Haha. Given, they are not a party hostel so this isn't something they prep for probs, but we had a bit too much fun there and they were all out of the cold ones. 4.) The beachfront this property is on doesn't lend itself to nice swimming. The corral prevents cooling off comfortably in front of the hotel but there is a nicer beach about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. All-in-all, though, we'd recommend this place for sure! Great spot.

Kaibigan Soul Camp is by far the most wonderful place I ever stayed in. There's magic in the surroundings, the food is pure deliciousness and Ellie, Pascale and Silke are absolutely fantastic and inspiring. It was my first technology-free vacation and I never knew I needed it until I arrived at Kaibigan Soul Camp. I am honestly feeling happier and more content than ever after my stay at Kaibigan Soul Camp and for that I am grateful to Ellie, Pascale and Silke for following their hearts in Cabayao and creating this paradise for everyone to enjoy.

No internet, no phone, no problems. Gorgeous new little resort with options for all kinds of travelers, from very small and basic to large spacious rooms. There are no other resorts in this part of Palawan so you really are away from the tourist trail in El Nido. Suggest that you go to El Nido first and then come here to experience peace and quiet. We stayed for 3 nights in a "Turtle" and we're very happy and comfortable. The owners are German and spent money creating this little sanctuary. Food was by far the best we had in all of Palawan, fresh and delicious. Two of the owners are DJs so the music (and sound system!) are excellent. Dinner is served family style in the main pavilion with great sunset views. Sand flies can be bad, but you are in the tropics and they are everywhere in Palawan so there is not much you can do except bring bug spray and something to relieve itching. Great place!

We had a very Nice stay at Kaibian Soul Camp. The atmosphere is relaxed and chilled. The owners are very kind. We did some yoga on a platform wjth an amazing view in the evening. The food is also very good and healthy! There is no wifi or phone signal, so you have The chance to relax completely! We took a bus from the bus terminal in puorto princessa, which only went at 11 am that morning. You Can Also take a drycikle for extra money. We were very relaxed after our stay. Thank you!
