My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights on our travels around The Philippine’s and he said it was our favourite place. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance along the beach. It is nestled away from the road so it has a really quiet location whilst still being connected to make day trips easy. Although we didn’t do a boat trip whilst staying at the hotel it offered loads, and it was clear that many trips left from the beach right in front of the hotel.
The room was lovely, clean, had great facilities and a perfect size. A nice added touch was the complementary drink on arrival!
The restaurant and pool had a great view of the sunset... an lovely bonus!
The only down side for myself was the breakfast menu, if you love eggs your in luck but unfortunately I don’t, so there wasn’t a huge range to choose from but as our stay was only a few nights this wasn’t a huge issue.
The evening meal we had was lovely.

What a perfect to place to relax, unwind, disconnect and explore. The view from our room was spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to reserve boat tour straight from the hotel, get directions, room service, recommendations of things to do. The onsite restaurant is open air, tropical feel, good food. So wonderful to sit by the water while dining. This hotel served as a great home-base for us to explore the island knowing we had a comfortable and welcoming place to return to each night.

I’m currently staying at the Last Frontier Beach Resort, the hotel is ideally situated on Corong Corong beach in a lovely quiet area right on the beach. If you want to head into El Nido town itself it’s only 100PHP for a tricycle up on the main road which takes about 5 minutes.

The staff have been excellent, our cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The breakfast choice is really good and varied and the cocktails are fantastic, great value at the happy hour from. 16.30 - 18.30 every day.

I toyed for a while to decide which beach hotel to go for here whilst here in El Nido but I’m really glad I chose the Last Frontier

Rave reviews for this wonderful boutique resort! It was a fantastic find that enhanced our enjoyment of El Nido. We selected the Beachfront Cottage, which was a game-changer. Book this room immediately if it’s available! The location is phenomenal and sets you with what feels like VIP access to the pool and beach views from your deck. As an added bonus, you are steps away from the restaurant, and the staff is happy to deliver breakfast, drinks, and any additional food you order right to your front door (for no extra room-service fee)! I have NEVER received such a high level of service. The staff was truly next-level. The included breakfasts were delicious and such a nice inclusion to our package. Bring your refillable water bottle, and they are happy to provide you with filtered water throughout the day.

The cottage itself was fantastic, with a comfortable bed and nice amenities. The resort was quiet, relaxing, and offered the perfect amount of privacy. This place was perfection. Book it now!

Very friendly accommodating staff.Loved the beach front cottage. The bartender was excellent, happy hour was nice. Parking is meant for motorbikes only so we had to park the car rental on the street, no biggie the hotel provided porter service. Bed was comfortable and North American/European style. Free breakfast was delicious. We especially want to thank the hotel for locating and returning the wallet my girlfriend forgot at the resort which contained many id and bank cards and some money. Their sincerity and honesty is priceless.

Very nice, quiet and intimate resort. Several nice and clean bungalows among the beautiful greenery. Fully equipped bathroom, terrace with sun lounger and air conditioning in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. The resort has a swimming pool and restaurants serving delicious food. El Nido is a 15-minute walk away. Alternatively, catch a tricycle. At the reception you can buy trips to island hooping or other attractions. It is possible to rent a scooter or arrange transport. Everyone is very helpful.

A restful resort fronting Corong Corong Beach, El Nido, Philippines.
It is on the quiet side of El Nido, near the town proper, with clean and spacious cottages/rooms and bathrooms, with veranda/porch, well maintained pool, good food and music. Rooms come with breakfast with options for vegetarians.
From the restaurant and pool, you have serene views all day, including sunset at low tide.
The resort is a great jump off point for bout tours (island/beach hopping, or to see the lagoons) as you will be fetched just meters away from the resort. Places to eat or drink for lunch or dinner are within walking distance (Bella Vita, a nice Italian restaurant is next door). Best of all, the staff are caring, attentive and hard working, and will go the extra mile to make your stay and celebrations memorable.
We had a worry-free and relaxing vacation. This resort is highly recommended!

I think there’s only 10 or so rooms here so the service is very personal with the staff knowing you from Day 1. Very friendly, helpful and safe. Good air con in the bungalows with super views across the El Nido seascape. Special sunsets and a bunch of easy to organise activities that are not charged out at any premium. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. RECOMMEND.

We loved the traditional and tropical feel of Last Frontier, from our welcome drink to our departure the staff could not do enough. We stayed in bungalow and found the room to be perfect, very well furnished and a comfortable bed.
Highlight of every day was cocktails by the pool to watch the fantastic sunsets, which were two for one happy hour.
Great breakfast included and we had an excellent meal in the restaurant on the one occasion we ate at the hotel.
We would return in a heart beat, a highlight of our Philippines adventure.

The staffs were helpful and amazing! Very friendly and attentive to your needs. The room needs to have an improvement. There should be a toilet cleaner and brush in every room. We requested to clean but no cleaners available already. The toilet cleaner that they are using smells like urine. I asked for it so that I can use it to clean out toilet because it smells urine, so it was the toilet cleaner that is the culprit! The bed have bugs. We ended up having a lot of bed bugs bite.

Hi Marko! Corong-Corong beach is not swimmable at the moment due to the government's rehabilitation program. However, there is swimming pool you can use and that the swimming beach is only about 10-15 minutes away. I hope this helps.

From what I understand these are just rumors. I was there a month ago and no one mentioned that. Try checking on the official Philippines tourism sites. Enjoy.
