Brian and his lovely crew at the Pawikan hostel made us feel at home the instant we weary travelers stepped in the door. They are warm, gracious and accommodating. The rooms are clean, the breakfast fair and generous. One night when the power went out, they had an electric fan ready for us to keep cool. Don't be dissuaded by the local neighborhood, as it is five minutes from the beach. Instead be reassured you will be taken care of against those magnificent limestone hills. The local food and prices in the small local area beat the prices offered on the busier streets. Try the bakery at the end of the street on the right. It's so good!! I cannot say enough about Brian and his crew. Enjoy your time there. We did for five days!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are protective and give precious pieces of advice. We felt very comfortable staying at Pawikan, rooms are clean with wifi. The staff helped me organized trips and gave recommendations about places in El Nido that are worth to visit. We appreciate staying there and highly recommend it !
