Unfortunately we experienced the rotational brownout every year and the replacement of the generator for the whole town. The establishment has no generatorand we felt the scorching heat of the summer even at night. NEVERTHELESS, the staff is very considerate and will attend to you no matter what. They are also very open to any kinds of conversations which will make you feel comfortable. The most important thing is my favorite instant coffee brand is free flowing. Will definitely go back.
Not the best. Sad. In a nondescript corner of town that lost electricity from 6 pm to 10 pm. Cramped rooms, messed up reservations, mosquitoes muddy front yard. Breakfast was horrific. We booked through an agency called el nido tours which dropped the ball many times over.
I stayed 3 nights in this Hostel and staff are so amazing!!Very approachable and attentive to my needs. The hostel is not far from beach, its just about 5 mins walk. Free coffee all day and with free breakfast too. Would suggest to have generator as power always cuts at night for about 2 to 3 hrs and wifi is not so good in this area. Overall i enjoyed my stay in Pawikan Hostel, surely i will stay here again when i get back to El Nido.
We had so much fun at El Nido because of the owner's help for our trips and tours. Very cheap with good and simple breakfast to start the day. Not a beach front hotel but close enough to local stores and beach front will take around 5-10min walk. Will recommend Pawikan to others. Great staff!
It's our 1st time in Palawan, we decided to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary in the beautiful island of El Nido. And it's worth it! We decided to get El Nido Tours to arranged our tour in our 5 days stay in El Nido. Whole day land travel from Puerto Princesa Airport to El Nido, it took 6-6.5 hrs, then we got Tour A (Lagoons and Beaches), Tour C (Beaches) and Nacpan Beach. We stayed here in Pawikan Hostel. Thanks to Bryan and Ylona, they were awesome! It feels like home. 2 weeks before we booked our travel to El Nido, we found out that James Reid and his friends stayed in this hostel. Hahahha! Sayaaang!
