We booked this place for a resort that we can unwind in. We aren’t ones to complain so please read this review and pick another place. El Nido is beautiful and there are some lovely resorts and accomodation around. The Orange Pearl is not this. The service is terrible. The manager is rude and doesn’t help with anything at all, even just asking for clean sheets and towels after our room wasn’t serviced like he said it would be multiple times. Music starts blaring from 7am so no relaxing at all. This is for their breakfast which is poor to say the least as we chose not to eat there after trying it on the first day. The restaurant is nothing great either The best part about the room is the aircon which works well. We are the closest room to the main reception area and we don’t get any wifi and neither do any of the other rooms. There is no coverage in any of the rooms either. The bathroom smells like sewage and the drains don’t work so prepare for the bathroom to flood when you shower. The location is right on the beach which is lovely but it also means you sit on your small balcony and get harassed by people selling things whenever you’re outside of your room which we understand around town but it’s a pain when you’re trying to read or relax. Overall this place is just not like some of the other places around the Phillipines we have stayed and so I’d recommend to stay away from it.…
We booked for 1 night through Agoda which cost £97, which is not cheap. When we asked for wifi we told that there was none. Then when we went to shower the water was cold. On enquiring we were told that there was no hot water for the rooms, we agreed to stay but at a discount. Later in the evening we tried to use the water to find out that there was none at all. We couldn’t shower, wash our hands or even flush the loo. On top of the main above issues the loo leaked so the room had a bad smell and there were cobwebs and dust from building work left so the room had clearly not been cleaned properly. The only plus side to the room was that there was a great sea view.
We stayed one night at the hotel after a long trip to the Nest, we expected to rest but very early in the morning the construction noises began right next to our room, at the reception nobody warned us of this and when we pleaded with they, the girl who works, was totally indifferent, she shows that she doesn't like her job because she does everything lazily.
Where to start. Its a bit hard to get to with luggage because its on the beach but there are staff members to help you carry. Free breakfast but wasnt anything special. Rooms are decent, we had a few ants but nothing crazy. Wifi kept logging out until we moved rooms. Absolutely amazing views throughout the day and evening. The restaurant wasnt the greatest but the happy hour was great. Spent alot of time there. Staff were so friendly, especially alvin. Cocktail king. Loved him
Saff were amazing, rooms were spotless, the food was healthy and tasty, and the tour guides were the best. Beach and water was so clean. We travelled as a group of five, three of us from Canada and two residents. We all felt safe and welcomed.
Location: •Away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd, but the area was surrounded with classy bars and restaurants, as well as, affordable diners •The resort is very near the water that the sound of the waves is enough to calm you when you wanted to chill, and can lull you to sleep. The best place if you want to rest and relax. •Near the El Nido Zipline Staff: •Very welcoming and accommodating. They attend to the needs of the guests promptly and efficiently Cleanliness •Very well-maintained Room •Big enough for a family of four, but they still provided an extra bed for us Food •Their restaurant offers a variety of menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner Value for Money •Worth every penny
Received an information from both the Mayor's Office of El Nido and the national Environment Department that this resort operates without valid and updated permits. Kindly verify, because apparently, Orange Pearl has committed multiple environmental and property law violations. Hence, the notice to vacate from the DENR and the non-issuance of permit by El Nido government.
We went to the second floor restaurant for dinner. Firstly the waitress knew nothing about the menu not the specials board that was displayed on the beach to entice us in, and everything we asked her about their meals she had to go off and check, a lengthy process! To top it off I asked for a cocktail and when it did eventually arrive it was warm! When I asked for ice to add to it that was a long time coming, so I went to the bar to check and they were chipping away at ice from the side of the freezer!!! Not the most healthiest thing to put into a Westerner’s drink!!! Needless to say we walked out without dining there! If they are trying to attract international tourists they need to pick up their game in all aspects!
Its my third time to stay in this Hotel and some of the staff became my friend ROD and Melan who arranged my travel from airport to hotel and tours.. Thanks to both of you..I cant say more but THANK You as i dont have problem with my tour arrangement. I will always go back and will always recommend your hotel to my friends and relatives.. ilove ELNIDO so much so i will always love to go back and stay the same where i started... ilove the food and the amazing view from our room, super relaxing and ilove it..ILOVE ORANGE PEARL🥰😍❤️
My wife and I stayed at the bungalows by the beach. View was excellent, but that was the only good thing about it. Hundreds of mosquitos & ants, rusty doors, no room cleaning, tiny rooms, dirty & smelly towels, etc. Stay away from this hotel!
