What a week staying at Rockinnest!
Glad to experience the property during the opening week so the owner (Dran) has a lot of time to show me around the town.
Pros:
1. The room I was in was the biggest room and actually aesthetically designed to my taste - very instagrammable as they say!
2. Good customer service - the owners and staff are very helpful with everything that I need and very generous with the information.
3. Good value for the money you’d pay because it’s strategically located and walking distance to everywhere - there’s a good spa / massage place beside it.
I think this place is designed more for couples and group of friends!

If you are hoping to find a uniquely designed hotel this is the spot. Fortunately they are in a great spot in El Nido. You are basically in the city with significantly less noise! The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help you find what you need! Food recommendations, what will suit YOUR needs, and they will make sure to let you know of any local or nearby events! I personally enjoyed being told about the Pink Moon party along with the best way to get there and when to actually show up.
You can tell if you spend any time talking with the staff that this is hotel is a project built on a lot of effort and dreams. The owner of this hotel is incredibly friendly. While chatting with him he explained that he and his husband built this hotel to provide something to the LGBTQ+ community as well as the straight community. While I am not a member of the LGBTQ+, I do live in San Francisco and I could see how much effort has been put to create a supportive environment for all groups of people. To me that is something important, because travel is all about the people you meet and the things you do with new friends!
I stayed in the diamond room. I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the room. While the light being on a timer for the plants could surprise (10am-6am) me at times, it was really beautiful to have in my room. The bed was very comfortable, and they even changed my sheets twice a day because I got sand in them 😬. If you are traveling solo I would recommend this place! I was with a friend who has family in Manila. Traveling with a local is the best. The hotel offers the same experience, but it is your headquarters.
I really enjoyed the cafe/wine bar. A decent breakfast selection and strong Americano coffee. They never play the music too loud which allows for conversation and relaxation. The two tables seat 4 and have French door like windows that make people watching with friends over drinks and some tasty food a great way to start the day.
I can’t wait to return to when the Surf and Turf restaurant the will be connected to the giant rock edifice opens. This boutique hotel is all about ambiance and vibes. A welcome oasis after a day of adventure and a night of dancing…. Sometimes until 5am.

As a solo travel and my first time in El Nido, the staff and owner at Rockinnest made my stay so enjoyable and welcoming. People treated me like family here, staff and other guests alike. The room is exactly as pictured, so comfortable, beautiful, and the location is a prime spot in El Nido, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and activities like scuba diving, ziplining and all the tours. Tricycles are always available to get you around. The price is good, bed and pillows are comfortable, good shower, there’s a wine bar, and a very homely feel. Many thanks to everyone at Rockinnest!

My girlfriend and I spent a week in El Nido over New Year's Eve. Right from the start, we were warmly welcomed by Josef and his colleagues. We felt at home at Rockinnest at all times. The team responds very quickly to guests' requests. We were also given detailed tips for excursions in the area without having to ask. The rooms are very modern. We really liked the open bathroom and the room lighting. The bed is very comfortable. There were also no problems with the room cleaning. The Rockinnest team attaches great importance to making guests feel at home at all times. We experienced their hospitality ourselves and are very grateful to have stayed at this hotel. We can highly recommend staying at Rockinnest to everyone going to El Nido! Thanks a lot to the team, looking forward to meeting you again!

Magnus and the rest of the crew at Rockinnest go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The front desk agent was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us incredible recommendations to maximize our time while staying in El Nido. The hotel is close to everything and was a very comfortable stay for us. We cannot wait to get back and stay again as they will be adding in a wine bar and restaurant in the next few weeks or so. Thank you for the A+ hospitality!

I have been traveling for the past 7 months and this hotel by far astonished me in so many good ways. The hotel literally gives you nature meets trend vibe. The room is so spacious and has a lot of storage which organizes your stuff. The attention to detail on this hotel is top notch. (from the multiple outlet option to cabinet storage) The staff and the owner are lovely people, they helped us book our tours and even went all the way to the airport to pick us up. For the price that you are paying for this is worth it. This hotel is 100/10 for me.

Great boutique hotel. Rooms were really clean and the host was the best. He showers us around and made sure that we had a great time.
It’s a good central location so if you want to go out it’s not a bother.
If I ever go back I’d definitely stay there again

My friend and I wanted a break from the hostel and we saw the diamond that is Rockinnest and it was simply amazing. It’s a comfortable and spacious home in the bustle of the town and it is a hotel I would recommend a hundred times over. Special thanks to Dran who made the stay incredible.
