We were undecided on where to stay in El Nido but kept coming back to Isla Amara and decided to book. We are so glad we chose this hotel. We were given a family room. It was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and different every morning. Now for the location - WOW. STUNNING. 50 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. Palm trees, white sand and crystal clear water very safe for swimming. Lots of restaurants and bars with gorgeous views and all the lanterns from the palm trees at night gave it a magical feel. The sunsets were beautiful. It's about 20 minutes by trycicle from El Nido town but feels a world away. I would recommend Isla Amara and Lio Beach if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

The Check-in was smooth / we were late getting to resort so didn’t experience any fancy welcome or drinks but that’s okay. The room was large clean and well designed. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location is away from the busy town centre and the resort is very quiet and private. I highly recommend. 300 peso flat rate to town centre / 450 peso to zip line. We did tour A & C island hoping / it was breath taking beautiful there were just too many people on these beaches for my liking during these tours. Did them once / won’t do them again. I would stay and enjoy this fixity more if I could have a do over

Staff were poorly trained, little idea of what good customer service is, they tried to charge us twice for a transfer to Puerto Princessa. No hand towels in room, only bath towels. Very disappointed for an upscale boutique hotel. On the positive the rooms are great and bed is comfortable.

This hotel is located on Lio Beach about a 20-minute tricycle ride into town and right next to the El Nido Airport. We had been staying down the beach earlier in the week and wanted to extend our stay and could not at our previous location. We were thrilled that Isla Amara had a room for us. This hotel is right near the beach and the restaurants/bars on the beach. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The scent in the hotel lobby was nice but was overpowering in the room. The staff was very friendly and did all they could to accommodate us. A few things would make me think twice about going back. The air conditioner in the room did not seem to cool off the room enough, even after we had someone come to help us with it. Most nights were warmer for sleeping than we would have preferred. As a beach hotel with a pool, it would have been nice to have a drying rack in the room to hang up swimsuits and extra towels. There was one small towel bar in the room. Housekeeping was inconsistent, forgetting to refill things (water) and replace all the towels. Breakfast was heavy on meat products so if you are a vegetarian, you will have limited choices. With a few enhancements to service, this would be a five star rating.

2 star for staff courteousness and for breakfast. The Room is supposedly a Celebrity Suite. Shower head is taped with electrical tape, you need to force the outlet to plug 🔌 in your charger. There’s no phone or intercom in the room, you need to walk back to the reception area to call for help. There is no Wi fi in our room 221. There is no TV channel even after the maintenance staff tried to fix it. He said they need to call the main office in manila to see why the channels aren’t running properly LOL… but other rooms has local channels. You have to wake up early to avail a good breakfast… Bring your own hair conditioner, body soap they have shampoo and bath gel but ours is empty. If you like wash cloth, bring your own because they don’t replenish it.

Good • Modern, well maintained and very clean. • Wonderful local beach area, far enough away from El Nido itself for peace and quiet, but not so far that it is inconvenient. • Several restaurants, bars, entertainment venues within walking range. • Beautiful boat trip Palawan adventurous.Big Lagoon, Simisu Island, Secret Lagoon and 7 Commando Island. Bad • The van trip up from Puerto Princea to El Nido was horrendous. Five hours of pure discomfort, rocky and bumbpy roads on steel curved terrain, and totally unsafe. The driver was continually speeding swerving, etc, I realize that this is normal for driving in the PI, but it is definitely a learning experience fro those from the USA. And added to the issue was the fact that on the trip back, we were driving at night, in the rain, and, added to the concern was the fact that the seatbelts in back were broken and not working.

I stayed here with my friends. The rooms were spacious with a pool view and decent complimentary breakfast buffet. You can access the Lio Beach from this hotel. They also have a swimming pool and there is a billiards table that guests can use for free. Over all, it was a nice experience for us.

First of all we have arrived on the exact day of my birthday which is October 5, I was very surprised that my gf have arranged to have something for my birthday, I didn’t expect that and was shocked because I’m asking my self why they know it’s my birthday hahaha little did I know my gf has been constantly communicating with Ms. Ezhyl of reservation team. Upon entering the room which by the way was a free room upgrade ( Thank you! Isla Amara 😊 ) there was a cake and happy birthday sign on the bed, I really appreciate the effort and time of Ms. Ezhyl coordinating with my gf all the time before our arrival from finding where to buy that beautiful and delicious cake, as well as the transfer from Puerto Princesa airport to El nido Thank you so much. Overall our stay was amazing. Indeed a very happy birthday to me.

This is where we stayed for our last dsy in El Nido. Since we were already in Lio there was no need to call for Transfers. The Hotel is Modern Tropical, designed to let the breeze in. Hotel is simply decorated but Elegant. Pool in the Middle is perfect size for the Hotel. Our room was ready ahead of the time promised. Room is a Pool Acess Room. Of good size, clean and cool. Beds were very comfy! Also the pillows. It had a TV with Cable. Mini Bar with Coffee and Tea Set. Breakfast was Okay, but it did do its job. The Lugaw was delicious. Staff friendly and efficient, though they should pay attention to the Lobby Toilet, it needs some TLC plus there were mosquitoes inside. Just 3 mins to the Airport.
