Location and noiselevel: The hotel is located downtown across a busy nightclub in El Nido which evidently leads to a very noisy surrounding. Being well aware of that I booked a stay for 1,5 weeks. What I didnt expect was that there are several machines an generators within the compound and neighbouring premises that made sleeping very hard for me. Room: having booked the biggest room available I was satisfied with the size of it. Unfortunately the bathroom has the size lf a broom closet. The wallpainting was not in good shape at all and showed cracks over the bed. The aircondition was new and worked well. The windows can‘t be shut tight enough to keep out the constant noise Staff: everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Except the french manager who doesn‘t talk…
Very good election for staying in El Nido. This small hotel is simple but cozy, extremely clean and quite. It is ruled by kind and professional people. Nice breakfasts and well located in town. What else?
A nice place to rest and located in town so its a 5-10 minute walk to your boat for Island Hopping. Everything is clean and tidy with the good man Ray running things efficiently at reception There is no complimentary daily water bottles offered so I had to be buy from reception or nearby shops As the Inn is located in town there is a lot of noise so a sleep-in was not possible. Making a racket is in the locals DNA so there is no escaping it, be it a workers grinder from the hotel next door early in the morning, concrete mixer from the backpackers across the road, or locals tearing down the road on their motorbike The other issue was the internet & cell phone network access which seems to be outside the control of the hotel. It was very poor & unreliable, I never encountered…
Bulskamp's location is about five to ten minutes away from where the good food and party is at in El Nido. The room we stayed in is pretty nice and decent too. We loved the bed, it's so comfortable to sleep in. Giving five stars too for their very friendly front desk people specially Sir Rey who was very glad to assist in any concern of ours. Would definitely stay here again when we're back in the area.
There is construction going on next doors, on the road and in the hotel itself and it’s impossible to rest/sleep. Drilling whole day, starts before 7 ends around 23. We’ve been here 3 days and everyday it’s the same. It can drive you crazy, didn’t get good one night sleep, we’re exhausted and just wanna go home. Staff and cat are nice, so extra star for them.
The hotel is very budget friendly, yet still decent. The room is always clean and the staff are always helpful especially Kuya Ray. If you want to try a great Filipino style breakfast, I would suggest to get it from here.
This hotel is terrific if you're looking for a budget stay. This is NOT a place with a lot of comfort. My room had a simple bed and a tiny bathroom, but everything was clean and functional. TV had English channels, which was nice. The great thing about this hotel is the staff - some of the most friendly I have ever met. They helped us get the best tours, even by asking the tour agency to include Small Lagoon in tour that originally didn't go there. They booked basically everything for us and everything worked out flawlessly. Breakfast is very simple but pretty good, and they changed everything according to what we asked. Once again, if you're looking for a more comfortable place with new furniture, this is not the place for you. But if you want a good place to spend the night…
A homely little place where you are well taken care of by Ray and the team. The room was just as needed with air con, fan and good bathroom. Importantly they had there own generator for key essentials which protected you from the frequent El Nido brown outs of electricity. Free tea and coffee available in the morning, but they could do with having freely available drinking water. Location is nice and central and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. We were not disturbed by construction or other noises whilst we were there, even though a big hostel sits opposite
Fantastic little hotel, everything you need for your trip, well situated for all amenities, Ray was very helpful, he organised everything, trips, moped hire, directions etc, etc, we loved our stay & was made to feel very welcomed, would definitely recommend to anyone to stay there, the girls that worked there too were also very helpful, will remember my trip in El Nido.
We stayed her for 3 nights in April. The rooms are very clean and modern. The reception area is very chilled and the staff are excellent. They even left a birthday surprise in our room on arrival. Location is also perfect in El Nido. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
