Stayed here for 4d / 3n on a solo trip. All I can say is that from the day I sent an email to inquire until the date of my arrival was surprisingly smooth. Ran & the rest of the front desk staff made it very easy for the guests to enjoy their stay. They very accommodating with not just our needs but with our short-noticed requests. The resort is nothing but AMAZING, from the rooms to their facilities. The f&b staff are quite friendly & always at their best in hygiene to make the guests feel comfortable dining in the restaurant or anywhere in the resort.

This is an incredible hotel experience. Extremely professional, approachable, and friendly staff. I could not have expected better hospitality and treatment. The staff really make you feel special and taken care of.

In terms of specifics, the beachfront is out of this world and I doubt you can get a better private beach in El Nido. The food at the restaurant is a bit expensive but is very good, with a wide range of selection. The room was big, cleaned regularly, and had a universal plug socket, so an adapter is not needed. It comes stocked with the majority of amenities that one would require. Due to the small amount of rooms, there is always plenty of availability for the sunbeds and beanbags.

The hotel is a bit isolated from the rest of the island (which you may like), but other than nightlife I don’t see a reason to need to leave this hotel.

Room Tip: It’s very isolated, so bear that in mind if you are planning to travel into El Nido regularly.

Stayed at Angkla for 2 nights and 3 days this Jan. 2021. I communicated with them thru email. Their Manager Francisco is also friendly I inquired thru text and reply was fast and got an email from Ran. It was a smooth transaction. Upon arriving , we were greeted with smiling and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and modern everything in push button. Having a few choices with their menu in the restaurant, it was decent. Ran and the rest of the staff were all friendly and accommodating.

Since the resort is new there is slow to no signal in the area. Wifi is provided on limited areas They do not accept credit card as of now. Limited choices of food. But overall will surely go back for peace and quiet.

The hotel is situated on the most beautiful Nacpan Beach near El Nido, Palawan, about 40 minutes drive from the airport. The round trip airport transfer was included with the reservation. Last 2 km of the drive is on a very bumpy dirt road, full of potholes. The hotel itself is nice, 16 rooms of beautiful interior design. Photos don't do justice.
Very modern, airy, clean and functional design. Great AC. The open air restaurant and bar are very nice. Property has 2 small pools, one facing the beach and one in the back. Unfortunately the property allows day visitors (for a fee) in the front pool, beach, restaurant area. That pretty much eliminates the feel of intimate, small boutique resort, which is how the property is advertised. The front pool is too small for hotel and day guests ( many with kids), and the back pool for hotel guests only is not in attractive location (back yard vs beachfront) and had only 2 (two) lounge chairs.
There are multiple stray dogs (generally very friendly) running in the restaurant, pool, beach lounging area, doing dog's things, i.e. marking their territory on the lounge bean bags.
Not enough lounge chairs for hotel guests on the beach.
Having said all that, this is by far the nicest place on Nacpan beach, which is still relatively undeveloped. Would be 5 stars if not the day guests, inadequate beach lounging and stray dogs issue. Great staff and service.

Stayed 2 nights on a weekend. Unfazed by the notion that it is partly owned by a renowned celebrity. And many in social hierarchy, vloggers, media influencers and instagram people had made their own content creation utilizing the resort. Only 16 villas , and they are quite pricey for the exclusivity. The units are just beautiful, feels new and updated. The amenities sow spark with their offerings. Automated curtain control. Smart sensor for lights, Nespresso machine , internet Tv where Netflix, YouTube and Prime Movies are at your disposal. Minibar items are complimentary on the first day. Well lighted, comfortable beds, toilet bidet. Only issue is that they allow day trippers removing exclusivity to what is offered. Can’t use the infinity pool and can’t get good tables unless there are guests. Aesthetic wise, the resort and restaurants provide picturesque views of the beach and on fortunate days , the beautiful sunset. Breakfast had made it buffet since it’s a weekend. Good choices and it was a relaxed experience. People of the resort exhibit typical Palawan hospitality, and I just loved it. Staff are just awesome, hard to single out certain characters because literally most of them are fantastic. On a hindsight, the burger in their restaurant is the bomb for the tenderness and deliciousness.

Our experience at this hotel on Nacpan Beach was truly delightful. The modern and technologically advanced rooms right on the beachfront offer an unbeatable location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, complete with excellent massages and sauna sessions. The dinners and lunches served were also commendable.

However, our rating is slightly tempered due to a couple of issues. The automated nature of all the rooms, while impressive, became a downside when the electric generator malfunctioned at 5 am, causing a disruption. Additionally, while the overall standard of the hotel is exceptional, we felt that the breakfast did not quite match the elevated experience provided elsewhere on the property. Despite these minor setbacks, our stay was memorable, and we would still recommend this beautiful hotel for those seeking a picturesque retreat on Nacpan Beach.

Ate at the restaurant ordered lobster waited for an hour for it, it was served overcooked. It was not fresh and was definitely overcooked. The chef approached us and asked me what I wanted to do about it, seems he doesn't believe me when I said the lobster was overcooked. Anyway, we paid for it but the restaurant did not even offer anything nor did they offer to change my order.

A little slice of heaven. The grounds are beautiful and spotless. It sits upon one of the best beaches You can imagine. From the moment We arrived and was escorted to the open air reception. Upon arrival Reno gave Us refreshing tropical drinks while we checked in. The checkin was seamless and we were escorted to Our second floor room. The room was well appointed with ample natural light . Smartly decorated with upscale Filipino style. The room was clean, very comfortable with all the latest technology.

The Resort has a open air restaurant that faces the beach. The views are breathtaking.

The Staff there is amazing. The word no was not in their vocabulary. They thought of every detail and anticipated Our every wish and desire. The first night we retired early and The amazing lady at the front desk even came to let us know that dinner was closing in 30 minutes, So Nice and thoughtful.

We were celebrating Our 15th Anniversary and arranged a beach front dinner that was so beautiful.

I would like to thank all the Staff, Reno, Edjhon, Joy, Diane and too many to mention You all made Our stay so special,

Thanks You and We will return!

Angkla is a cozy place. The feel was paradise indeed. I like the "green" theme of the hotel while the rooms where "smart"; state of the art. Amazing lighting and fully automated. The beach club has the best view specially at sunset while serving the best food

One of the best boutique resorts in El Nido. The setting on Nacpan beach is absolutely spectacular (and worth the 45 min drive from town) and the rooms, food, ambiance and service were first class. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!
