We booked a 4D/3N deluxe package, which we thought was decent value for the price but a few events made our stay somewhat unpleasant overall. While the service from staff was mostly good, in several instances we felt as if we were treated with lower priority than the big group who we later learned were guests of the owners. In one case, we booked a supposedly private transportation to Vanilla Beach (which costs P1500 for drop-off and pick-up; not part of their free shuttle to the town center) but after waiting for 40 minutes for the van to arrive, we learned that we had to share the ride with these guests and we were told to sit at the back to make room for them. They later apologized and we were not charged but this soured the rest of our stay. The previous day, we also had to share the shuttle with the same group (around a dozen of them and we went according to their time) and we were also the last priority in getting to the boat for the tour (we had to wait much longer than others). While our room was spacious and well-designed, a few things could be further improved: food was average (better to dine elsewhere like Lio/Vanilla Beach), coffee was not good, the pillowcases smelled, shower had no hot water, the gym was hot (though well-equipped), and the pool lacked privacy. Individually, we would not have minded these small inconveniences (especially amid the context of travel during a pandemic) but collectively, they made our experience of the place less pleasant than we would’ve hoped.

Good staff assist all throughout stay from pre arrival to departure. Good food surprisingly. Could be priced more reasonably? Room was ok with some bathroom issues and electrical buzzing sounds Will come back definitely.

Had a great staycation in Charlie's❣️ Staffs are very accommodating, the room is clean, good food and the place is conducive for relaxing as well😊 This is the best time to book since tourism in El Nido is still on the second stage of its gradual re-opening, you will enjoy the whole hotel resort as much as you want.. will definitely go back to this place! 💛💚❤️

Really enjoyed my stay at Charlie’s El Nido. It’s your best bet as “base” to tour the mainland. I didn’t want to stay in the town proper because I still wanted my privacy and ofcourse the luxe amenities (but affordable rates) that Charlie’s offers. WiFi was strong which made work from home convenient. I felt very safe with their COVID protocols - freshly sanitized rooms, regular temperature check, all the staff wearing their masks properly. Good job! The hotel is strategically located. It’s 5mins away from the airport and beach (lio), 10mins away from town, 20 mins from vanilla beach and 40mins away from nakpan. Thank you to Kat, Marc and Kenneth for taking good care of me, for arranging all my island tours (wow) and just in general for being so warm and hospitable. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK ☺️ Also, order the Charlie’s burger. Not gonna lie, the best juiciest burger in the island :)
