My second time visiting Makulay, this time staying in lodge 3, which had air con. The room was large, clean and had a balcony with a stunning view of the ocean. The staff were so friendly, and couldn't have done more for us. Makulay has...More

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. 5 min walking from downtown. We've got a good welcome, warm and smiling people during our time there (they also helped my boyfriend to make a beautiful surprise :) ). The view from the room was wonderful. The...More

Pros: Spacious, clean room with perfect balcony view (100 steps to get to it, but it is worth it!!). Quiet at night, you don’t hear noisy traffic because it is kind of away from main town roads. Hot shower. Nice, friendly and hospitable staff. Recommended...More

I don't think that there is aircon in each room. I don't know if it is allowed to add person in the room.

I am planning to come to the Philippines in January, mainly for snorkeling and diving. I saw your web site, but I wanted to ask questions to you directly so I can be sure I know how things are at your place. It certainly looks like a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Here are some questions: 1. Is there good snorkeling from the beach at hotel? I don't want to take a boat, just want to wade out & go snorkeling. 2. How hot does it usually get in January: Is air conditioning available? Is there usually much rain In Jan? Do you have fresh water showers? Electricity? 3. Do you have a dive shop or is the a dive shop close by? 4. If I want a meal at another restaurant are restaurants nearby? 5. How does one get around? Is there easy bus service? 6. Would I fly in to Puerto Princesa and do you have transportation from airport? 7. Can I get a room with a/c and ocean view? What is the cost? I am one person, I hope to stay for 2 weeks, around Jan 7, but my dates are flexible. Thanks, hope to hear from you soon Billye Timbes
