very nice staff, good location, nice beach, helped us with everything only down part was the restaurant but thats okay because there are other food options nearby all in all a great place to go on vacation
People are friendly, we stayed for 5 days/4 nights. Breakfast was mostly cold although they had heating plates. Hotel is very clean and directly at the beach. Restaurants in the area do not provide all the menues although they are on the menue. No big activities in the hotel, you have to go to town for booking directly, island tours are very enjoyable
Huni is one best place to stay: • Staff are courteous and accommodating • Ambiance is peaceful and relaxing • Facilities okay, hotel structure is one best architectural design • Proximity to the Lio Beach is just okay • Buffet breakfast is good (bacon please!!! And brewed coffee is tasteful)
The hotel was overall great - the rooms were big and spacious, the amenities plenty, and the public spaces were very clean. It's in a very good location too, not that far from El Nido Town Proper. The Lio Beach was also great. Staff took care of us during the duration of the entire stay. When we arrived, all of the COVID-19 protocols were observed, including the wearing of masks, regular disinfection of surfaces, among others. I'd like to commend the front desk staff for being so kind and helpful to us when we were checking in, and even gave us a list of boat operators to contact for the tours. The staff was very proactive in handling our requests such as when we request extra pillows, extra towels and such. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in Huni Lio, I would definitely stay again if given the chance to and will recommend to my friends.…
Thank you Huni Lio and all the staff who assisted me and my family well. All staff are very kind, accommodating and hard working they make sure all the corridors, rooms, and facilities are well cleaned. Amenities are welcome drink (its taste like fresh ginger with lemon grass, and honey), free unlimited wifi all over the Huni Facilities, clean swimming pool (with free towels), free transport back and fort to airport, buffet breakfast, etc;, All foods are delicious, and with fresh fruits; though our 1st day buffet breakfast not included so we avail their breakfast and it was a expensive, with few food choices. We do an early check-in no fees, and no hidden services charges when we checked-out. If you are a type of person who wants some privacy and not too crowded this place is for you. The beach is as clean like a swimming pool and the sand slight brownish. There are some 5-6 restaurant open near Huni Lio resort where you can eat, the price range 250-500 per person. There is also a mercury drug store near the resort where you can buy some snacks/drinks/canned goods/medicines etc. I would suggest to Huni Lio Resort to add at least two food choices in buffet breakfast, offer a tour services where your customers no need to travel 30 minutes to El Nido town, and maintain the quality of the hotel some of the walls have cracked painted. Thank you again to all staff, we experience good services…
Thank you huni lio the best service and amenities Friendly staff, clean room and pool santized. Buffet breakfast, not crowded, free late check in no fees. plus 5 minutes from airport. Will be back soon
In my opinion, Huni is the best resort in Lio Beach. As a first-time traveller to Lio, I was pleasantly surprised at how well managed the resort is. The room is modern, clean and well-kept. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable. The room was a welcome respite after a tiring day outdoors. The common areas are well-maintained. There is always someone mopping and cleaning considering how the rain can make the floors slippery and sandy. The pool was pleasantly warm. I considered staying at another resort without a pool but the pool at Huni is a gem. The staff is efficient, helpful, professional and kind. The restaurant has beautiful views right on the beach which allows an occasional sighting of a squirrel or monkey. The breakfast buffet was limited but has everything you'll need for a good, filling breakfast. Lio beach is a better alternative to other locations in El Nido. The beach is quiet, long and wide, and kept clean. The sunset was phenomenal. The restaurants along the beach afforded enough options for every budget range. If you want a beautiful, relaxing place away from the crowds, Huni at Lio is the best option.…
We had such a great stay at Huni Lio. This is the view from our room. All the staff are well trained — very kind, courteous, attentive and helpful, and always with a smile. Whenever we needed something from room service, housekeeping and even medics, we got attended to immediately. The entire estate is clean and well maintained with all essentials and good restaurants are super walkable. The breakfast spread could have more variety as though the spread would change daily with its mains, they are essentially the same (sweet meat and fish). But overall it was an excellent stay. Thank you team Huni for a lovely stay!
Visited El Nido with 15 of my friends from the US and we had a blast at Huni. Ate Chelle from the Front Desk took care of us very well and was so accommodating! Highly recommend to stay here if you ever find yourself in El Nido!
We have our FIRST trip to El Nido, Palawan and we made sure that our accommodation will give the needed comfort for both my mother and grandmother. Lio airport is near the resort. The whole area is peaceful and relaxing. This is a best place to us since we would want a beachfront hotel that is not too crowded. They have a handful of restaurants/cafes in the area and the staff are courteous and aware of the needs of their clients. The beach is long and you can walk to and from the area as long as you want! Another positive experience is that they have an in-house doctor that would urgently attend to the medical needs of the visitors! They also have a drugstore near the area for some medical and other needs (mercury drug). The resort also has information about the tours and you can go to the main market since there are a handful of tricycles near the main entrance. I also love hanging out at the pool where you can quietly relax. I would suggest to have a citronella spray near the beach to repel nik nik in the area specially during rainy season. I will definitely come back here !!!…
