Was truly looking forward to this place.. however, it is just so so. Spent 2 nights here. $150 a night is no bargain. There was no wifi whatsoever available... they kept saying its broken. The breakfast included was very poor- choice of eggs or pancakes with one drink- that's it. Yes, our fault as we forgot- but this is a CASH only place. 40 minute cab drive into town for money changing. The restaurant on premises is very good- prices are reasonable- they have happy hour 3-7pm with great deals. Beach is beautiful however- there are jelly fish and plankton you have to be careful. Security presence at night- made us feel safe. Shared bathrooms were clean. A/C in the tent works well in the evening- you cannot spent much time in the tent during the day- it becomes unbearably hot and dangerous to your health. Beach also has dedicated loungers for those staying in the tents. Overall, expected better but for the experience once in a lifetime worth a look.

Nacpan glamping has the location to be a top glamping. The beach view is stunning. However, the facilities are far overpriced for what you get. We suspect influences (who were very present) are asked to write amazing reviews. There is constant construction, stray dogs and clogged showers. Food is OK, but not for what you pay. The wifi did not work for 3 days. The staff is helpful, but often doesn't know the answer. We liked a lot of hostels in El Nido city more.

Room Tip: We would reccomand nacpan Beach for a day trip, not a stay at the current locations. Overpriced...

Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. She led us to our yurt which was spacious for two people. Don’t come here expecting a five star hotel room, because what the place is advertising is exactly what you’re getting - you are staying in a yurt that does not have a strong air conditioner and en suite bathroom. However, especially in December, the yurt was cool at night, and we rested very well. The beds were comfortable, and the space just had a nice, light, airy, cozy vibe to it. It was nice even to just sit quietly in the yurt, reading a book, and winding down for the night. The closest bathroom was about 20 or so steps from the yurt. It is kept clean and I never ran into other guests. It was like having your own bathroom, just that it’s not attached to your sleeping area. I did encounter a frog in the shower though, but no big deal, it was a cute one. It’s actually pleasant, walking the well-lit path at night, from your cool yurt to the bathroom. I was able to smell the foliage and sea air, and enjoy the stars, which were dazzling! Nacpan beach itself is gorgeous. The sunset there is magical. But be wary of the sandflies - coat yourself in virgin coconut oil so you don’t get bitten.

Before booking this for us for 4 nights we did a lot of research around their setup and read through various reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, some information we have seen in other reviews is now clearly out of date and no longer true. 1. Some reviews mentioned free sunset sailings but they are no longer available, neither paid or unpaid 2. Some reviews mentioned the great Pizza place: Pizza is no longer available limiting the menu significantly. Related to that: The Sunmai bar/restaurant has decent food at, for Philippines levels and experience, at expensive rates. The cocktails (if you take their specialty cocktails) are awesome, the service and cleanliness is just ok. They constantly asked us what we wanted for breakfast the next morning and then consistently forgot, mixed it up or simply prepared something completely different. In comparison we went to the Bar/Restaurant (Angkla) a bit down the beach which has by comparison a completely different and much better experience. (Btw: they also have fast internet available there) 3. Some reviews mentioned the pool par: Pool Bar no longer available, the pool in desolate condition with mushrooms growing on the rotting wooden deck. 4. Some reviews mentioned that the bathrooms are kept spotless: This is probably the furthest from the truth. In the mornings the toilets are often found in a terrible and disgusting state from use throughout the evening and night as are the showers and sinks. (Toilet paper can‘t be flushed hence has to be put in buckets next to the toilet, piling up). While in theory the bathrooms are shared between 2-3 tents (while correct mathematically) everyone uses the central 4 bathrooms and they are not assigned to tents, everyone goes everywhere. The outside door is a noisy swing door with a sink in front of you, the shower to one side, the toilet to the other. Both individually locked. We found them to be in terrible state and barely any water pressure or warm water, dirty and full of bugs, even frogs. 5. Some reviews mentioned internet: it is not available. Neither with a Mobile phone (i.e. Smart Philippines nor Wireless). The speed is so low that messaging and browsing are simply not possible. Important points to note: - The roads to the hotel are bad and we also avoided tricycles and used the bus. Either way, the hotel is far from everything. A trip to El Nido (if you want to take a tour for example) will run you about 3600 Pesos for 2, same applies to airport transfers. -Nacpan beach is nice but from our experience certainly not one of the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines. There are others to see. -There are lots and lots of wild dogs that are in terrible condition. If you are an animal lover, bring some dog treats! Overall this Glamping experience could have been a great experience and perhaps it once was or will be again, but for us at these rates it was a complete fail. We felt nickel-and-dimed, there’s never any gesture from the hotel (i.e. when the aircon broke one night leaving the tent extremely warm and unbearable). They do charge you 80 Pesos more per person if you wanted a cappuccino instead off coffee for breakfast (because of the milk they say). BTW: If we had to do it all over again and if we absolutely wanted the Glamping experience: 1 night would be enough and perhaps it is ok for that one night. 4 nights is absolutely too long. Management should step up and work on fixing some of the issues……

My second time here at Nacpan Beach Glamping, The stay still impresses me, the food was good, DJ playing at sunset, service was nice, and of course with a majestic sunset view. After sunset, they arranged a live band to perform, the vibe was really nice. Last the also brought all the guest to the bonfire inside the Glamping, was really lovely! All I can say is amazing!
