Detailed Reviews
As stated, this hotel is located right on Corong Corong beach and is easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants and bars in the quieter part of El Nido. Not walking distance to town, we rented a motorbike.
This hotel is very dirty, we stayed for 5 nights and left the 'please clean room' sign on each day but they never cleaned our room. We also had to ask repeatedly for toilet roll and most of the time we were ignored so ended up buying our own. There is no bar or restaurant, only breakfast which is actually quite good food.
We rented a motorbike via the security guard, who seems to be the one running this hotel, and he asked for 600 peso and insisted we pay immediately. When we rented at reception for a second day we were charged 500, when we asked why we paid him 600 the day before, all he said was commission. He also quoted 12,000 for a private island tour when other companies quoted 6000 so we gave that a miss.
One our first 2 days the pool was out of action and filled with yellow dirty water. This did improve but the pool was still dirty. There are also dead Hornets in the lamp shades of the rooms.
Would not return, rubbish value for money and dirty. Such a shame because given the location they could make this place so much nicer.

Wouldn’t recommend staying at this place. Overpriced, not very clean and the staff aren’t that friendly. (The security guard was so kind and helpful though! So thanks to him). They don’t have wifi- so don’t believe them when they tell you they do. They’ll lie and say they have wifi and convince you to buy a SIM card because the wifi doesn’t work on a foreign phone. Location is great though! Corong corong is a great spot to be, away from the dusty, craziness of el nido with lots of restaurants/bars along the beach.

From the moment of arrival there were issues. They require a 50% deposit which i paid 2 months before arrival date. there were three of us couples traveling together and 3 rooms booked. They couldn't locate my deposit so I went on my laptop to show them their confirmation email. No filing system apparently as they later found the payment slip somewhere.
Next up....the king size beds on their website, they are "full size" beds. Not a single room in the place has king sized or even queen size beds. NONE. Ignore the website as it's not accurate.
Laundry service...well, once they did it we had to go to the front desk and pick through the baskets to identify which was ours vs. the other guests. It was all carelessly mixed and looked like a swap meet.
TV: 1 channel for the entire hotel. 3 nights of cartoon channel. Not exactly brain food. If one guest wanted a particular channel, ALL rooms got that channel.
Food: In short, HORRIBLE. Some orders completely forgotten. Breakfast each morning was a mess. It was included in the room price. Didn't matter if you ordered bacon or ham, you got what they brought you. Order scrambled eggs and get whatever they bring. It's BAD. Didn't eat a single other meal other than the breakfast. Warm beer! NO ice. Many guests were complaining about warm beer. I ended up going 4 KM into el Nido and buying ice and having cold drinks in my room. Why wouldn't the hotel do that for their guests?
Boat tours: we booked one on their boat. Good value at 630P per person for tour A. (their website shows 550 pesos) 1st boat would not start so we set adrift on the water for an hour in the morning while they worked on it. Finally transferred to 2nd boat and all was well. Honestly, these tours i think are a fantastic value and awesome scenery.
Side note...it's a snorkeling tour to coves and before we got on the boat I asked about masks and fins. Those are at the front desk. Thankfully, I had asked. The following day, a group of Europeans didn't ask and they spent the day out on the boat with NO equipment!
This place is a parade of errors and lacks very very basic processes for operating. I did email the owner, Mr. Kim, the above information after the visit and never received a reply...

We were offered a discount card by the hotel giving us 50%off on the first night and 30%off on the succeeding nights. Since we are visiting El Nido this February, we decided to book at this hotel a month before (January). Upon booking we were assisted by "Sierra," we have booked the Native hut since we are a family. Since we are accustomed to booking hotels since our family loves travelling, we took the liberty to ask regarding the downpayment to finalize our booking. However, Sierra informed us that since we have the discount card, we no longer need to make a downpayment. We were pleased with the convenience of the discount card. We also asked the hotel if they could arrange the van transfer from Puerto Prinsesa and they have agreed to arrange it, though we need to call again couple of weeks before our arrival. We then decided to call on the first week of February to confirm the van transfer, to our HORROR the receptionist informed us that no reservation was made under our name. They asked us to call again the next day since Sierra was on leave that day. Hoping there was a mix up, we called again and talked to Sierra. But this SIERRA, rudely denied that she talked to us and made a reservation. She kept on denying that no reservation was made and has never talked to us, how stupid is that since we have also provided our membership number. We are furious about this since she has confirmed our reservation, and now we were left hanging just weeks before our flight. Imagine the inconvenience she has brought us since almost all hotels are already fully booked! I strongly advise everyone not to book at this hotel. They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate! Their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST WE HAVE EXPERIENCED!!!! BEWARE OF SIERRA!!!!!!!

Booked this hotel on agoda and paid 10 days in advance. When i arrived i was shocked to find the room very dirty , it had blood stains on the walls , electricity sockets hanging of the wall, bathroom with no flushing toilet, it was impossible to stay. The hotel refused to refund agoda and after sending photos of the room to agoda they kindly refunded me . Dont be fooled by the four seasons name. The pool was also dirty.

No restaurant. Not hospitable. Doesn't have beach. (Only seaside) uuuhhh!! I wanna go home right now swear. The staff will let you bring your own things without helping. They wont even greet you when you arrive. You'll not feel that you're in a vacation. Never again!

I'm not usually the one to make a complaint on here but if someone was to ask me I definitely would not recommend this so called resort. Choose elsewhere from many other nearby hotels or better still in the town proper that have several beach front hotels.
I booked the resort due to the attractive package the resort had on offer.
Firstly, to get to El Nido it takes roughly 5 or so hours via private van from Puerto Princesa. The journey to El Nido halfway onward was quite rough, best suitable for 4 wheel drive. Roads were under construction and may take months to complete. Small direct flight services too costly but I hear Cebu Pacific are looking at trialing flights service to El Nido airport in the near future.
Service at resort was terrible. .staff in need of training, regardless if you communicate in english or in tagalog!!!
Dont hire their masks and flippers; useless and waste of money!
When my hubby's cousin and his family left a day before us to catch their international flight in the afternoon staff lied about their transport back to Puerto Princesa. Mind you their private transfers were arranged prior to our arrival and they had reconfirm this on the day of our arrival. When you pay for a package that includes private transfers you expect private transfers!!! Instead they were dropped off to a bus station at 5.00am to ride a 6 hour rugged journey only to stop at Puerto Princesa bus station and had to flag down a tricycle to take them to the airport which was roughly 15 mins away. Good thing they got to the aiport an hour before departure!!!!
Food, in particular the breakfast was disappointing, bland and cold. I suggest ordering in the morning and not the night before and I highly recommend eating out for lunch/dinner in the town proper (abouts 10 mins by tricycle, P30 per person).
Room okay but husband and I swear there were bed bugs cos both hubby and I were covered in bites.
Shower inadequate. You only get a trickle from the shower due to resort conserving water and is cold to lukewarm.
Power cut off is between 6.00am and 2.30pm except for wifi but even the wifi was not consistent for the duration of our stay. Power cut is standard in El Nido.So don't expect a cold beer until later on in the evening.
The only positives I can say are the two young boat men that took us out on a two day island hopping. They were very attentive so much so that one of them went out of his way to swap some of our chicken pieces that was mixed with pork marinate with another boatman before grilling just so I can eat it for lunch. I told staff back at the resort that I had a reaction to pork prior to the island hopping and requested staff to separate the chicken from pork but of course this did not happen. For this reason I decided to only ever tip the boatmen and not the staff.
I had forgotten the name of our driver but he too was very accommodating and tried his best to get us to El Nido as quickly as he could but was mindful of the terrible roads. He too was rewarded with a tip.

A friend helped us plan our honeymoon trip in El Nido and referred this place to us for our honeymoon for having a very reasonable rate and friendly staff. It was kind of a backpacking trip for me and my husband, therefore, we were not really expecting a superior hotel-like accommodation.
Four Seasons Resort's customer service, no doubt, has one of the best in El Nido. All the staff--from the owner down to the service driver--were very courteous and accommodating. Special props to Jacob who's proactive in assisting us with our needs at the hotel. By the end of our stay there, we've already made friends with all of them.
Since the resort is relatively new, the place is not entirely finished and is being developed. Don't expect a shiny marbled floor or an artsy landscape, because you won't see it--at least not yet. But we loved the place simply because it felt home. Yes, they may have crappy cable TV (well, the rest of El Nido has no more than 3 cable channels anyway) and power is out from 6:00AM-2:30PM, but we did not go to El Nido to watch TV or lounge in the room. If you expect high-class hotel accommodation, then be ready to shell out moolah so that you can book yourselves a nice, cozy room in Lagen or Miniloc Island Resorts. There are also lined-up inns and resorts at the El Nido town proper with rooms ranging from Php2000 and above, depending on which room you fancy. However, they don't have as much strolling space as Four Seasons Resort have or a pretty sea-view where you can enjoy your meals.
Meals... ah yes. You should know before you head to El Nido, that meals ranged from Php220 and above, and it's standard across all restos on the island. Four Seasons Resort have breakfast provided for you for the rest of your stay there. Their breakfast menu may be limited, but you can always opt to go to the town and have wider breakfast options (only that you'd have to wake up earlier because island tours begin at 7AM). We had our dinners at the town, because we wanted to really saturate what El Nido offers. But on one occasion that we ate in the resort restaurant, we enjoyed our Korean cuisine dinner. My husband and I really had a great time eating and smacking our lips to the kimchi soup and Korean dish that is so hard to pronounce. And it was sweet because it was candle-lit and we were eating under millions of stars.
They also took care of all our tours during our 3-day stay there. And after every tour, we come home to an enjoyable merienda--one that your mommy would make after you come home from school. It was a lot easier for us to just enjoy our time together and honeymoon since we don't have to do the tour logistics on our own.
If you are like me who is very particular with customer service and really want to experience El Nido in its barest, then go for Four Seasons Resort. It's like staying with a close relative, which makes your trip much more meaningful and worthwhile. This resort is home run when you're on a strict budget trip too.
Word of advice: Stay in Four Seasons Resort for at least the first two days of your trip and if you still have some money to spare, then stroll around the town proper and book your last day on a fancier hotel (we did that). This way, you have savored staying in El Nido with rich travel experience without spending too much.

My husband and I spent four days here November 2015, and we were disappointed by the standard of the hotel, as well as the professialism of the staff. We (as it seems if many others have been ) were deceived by the pictures of the hotel.
Pros.
Beautiful sunset
Rooms were big
Cons
Staff was rude. Example, breakfast was from 7-9, and at 845 we came down and it was all out, apart from some questionable fruit that looked rotten.
Bad wifi
-Pool not maintained, or clean at all, in fact was closed two of the four days
-Loudl noisy construction! 8am to 6pm each day, which also meant tons of random men all over the hotel smoking and spitting (so gross)
-Restaurant is poor quality, shakes not available. High prices
-Staff not accommodating at all! Asked questions to move to quieter room, they were ignored
- no kayaks available even though webpage said they have them
Basically we picked this hotel as we wanted wifi, kayak rentals on site, and the pool and breakfast, none were very available during our stay. I would seriously encourage you to look else were. We spent some days at island front cottages ( nearby, lovely staff, nice restarant) as well as talndak.

After many vacations all over the world I have a more realistic view of what to expect. The AC worked, the rooms were clean, and the staff VERY friendly and eager to please. For what it costs to stay here we were very happy. If you want more. plan to spend more!! I don't care if you are buying shoes for your feet, tires for your car, or a hotel room you get what you pay for. I see some people complaining about this place but you should not expect a $250.00 per night room for what they charge here! For what they charge it is very nice!! It is easy to get a tricycle ride into the city or rent a kayak like we did!! Tours from here were very easy to arrange and the guides were amazing!!!!!! We are in the planning stages of spending another vacation in El Nido and we will stay here again!!
