Rustic!! Hand built with bamboo, many years ago. Grab a beachfront room, worth the extra money. Only rooms to stay. I believe there is four facing the ocean at your doorstep, stepping down to the beach.. Family-owned, very old, nothing fancy but clean, no bugs. Low water pressure was to be expected. I live in the Phillipines, scuba diving, this is my favorite place to stay. 4 hour bus ride from Palawan airport. It is the go to island for the locals.

The rooms are basic and the bamboo walls super thin, so you hear every little noise your neighbour makes. The staff is friendly, but if you need something, better speak directly to the manager who is extremely helpful. For what we paid we didn‘t expect more and enjoyed our stay, although we did not like El Nido that much.

Stayed here for 2 nights, and we stayed on the second floor. Upon check in advised that the water is not suitable for brushing teeth which made me slightly dubious to our start of our stay here. The Room was clean upon check in, we stayed in Deluxe double room with Sea view. Nice balcony. Please note: The walls are so thin here, you can have a conversation with the guest next door or enjoy his loud TV as well THROUGH THE WALL The room next door was vacant the next day which was a blessing as it was slightly surprising how thin the walls are. Yes the View of the sunset was worth the stay here. The bed was comfortable. the Mosquito net worked, as no bites occurred. The shower worked, although not a lot of water pressure, The Breakfast is next door, and you get a voucher from reception to collect the breakfast at the next door restaurant. Good breakfast we both agreed. No room service unless you ask, which after a day of island hopping surprised me to see the room not touched or made up. No Fridge in the room, and the Aircon worked well. Got some extra towels no problem. The Hotel arranged for us the Island hopping, the extra fees were explained, and we understood that. The Hotel also arranged for a van to Puerto Princessa after our stay, and no issues with that and we made our way back to there after our stay here. The Closest ATM from here is around 10 Minutes walking or 5 Minutes by Tricycle. I would stay in Corong Corong Beach again, but perhaps with soundproof walls next time. Close to plenty or restaurants and the bus terminal, but as mentioned before, inspect the room before you check in to ensure you know what you are in for. The staff were young yes, but always wanting to help or explain any questions we had.

This hotel is without doubt the worst place I have ever stayed. From beginning till end it was a complete disaster. We arrived on day one in time for check in and was told our room hadn’t been cleaned (the pictures are not representative at all and most are of a different hotel), we waited over an hour for this to be completed. No one actually bothered to tell us it was ready and we had to go back to reception a while later and get the key. The rooms are very dark with no view of the beach just a building site and the constant smell of sewage. The shower, toilet and sink continuously stopped working. In 3 days we must of called down to reception about 5 times just to fix this. There are huge gaps in the walls so we encountered a rat which brought in rubbish and left it in a pile in our room. We booked a boat tour through the hotel, they took our money and said we needed to pay extra for the environmental licence which we obviously agreed to. We were given no receipt and when we got on the boat the next day they had no record of our booking however kindly agreed we could stay on. We decided to book our next tour through another agency who said we can use the same environmental licence we purchased previously as these last for 10 days. When we asked the hotel for this licence they could not produce it. We were told to come back later to which we replied that we wanted our money back for this as they had clearly not purchased it or paid for the previous boat trip. After a few hours they agreed to refund us for the licence. The way we were treated from start to finish was appalling. We were meant to stay for 6 nights but had to leave after 4 as it was just ruining our time. I can see from below reviews that the hotel writes that they are always willing to help when problems arise but this is completely untrue, we went countless times and nothing was done. They also change the wifi at least everyday to stop guests using it. There are plenty of places to stay in El Nido so do not pick this one as you will not have a happy stay.

Basic, but clean room. We didn't have to ask for new sheets, but we received them after 3 nights. They were very welcome! It would have been nice if the staff also cleaned up the beach in front of the beach bar. There was a lot of garbage.
