Dryft Camp is the best thing you can book for your vacation. We would definitely come back any time soon! We stayed in the tents and 3 extra nights in the Hives. The bed in the tent as well as in the hives is very very comfortable. The food is pricier than in other Philippino places, BUT we have never eaten better in our lives and the food makes the experience in Dryft Camp even better. The staff is super nice and willing to help you with every problem at any time! Everyone working there really lives for the vibe the camp represents. Never stayed at a hotel with „shared“ bathrooms, but that’s the island life and we were ok with it and the staff also puts shower gel and shampoo complimentary in the shower. We will be back soon!

Spent a week in this island and it was the most relaxing vacation. You can just snorkel in front of the resort or walk 10 minutes to the other side of the island. We sleep and wake up with the music of the waves. They have superb chefs who prepare healthy, yummy meals. The staff were accommodating and nice. It’s not crowded so it felt like our own private island.

Where do i start???? I saw the pictures and reviews of Dryft and had high expectations (and crossed my fingers that the reality would be just as nice). I’m sorry to say the truth of the matter is that the pictures, reviews and information on the internet don’t do this place any justice. Upon arrival I was searching for a word to describe what I was seeing and feeling. I eventually I settled on “breathtaking”. Dryft is definitely an oasis in this crazy world we live in. The beaches are pristine and the water is crystal clear! The resort itself is nothing but magical. An eco-friendly resort that provides a service that many 5 star hotel chains could learn from. The staff are honest, real and wonderful people who give love and warmth 24/7 (miss you Kate). The food was to die for and my buddy Carlo is a magician when it comes to deciding what culinary delicacies he will create each day. I can honestly say I never had a bad morsel of food throughout my entire stay. As for activities and entertainment, the vibe is Ibiza sunset chilled and the snorkelling is some of the best I did in the Philippines. I actually went to Dryft to participate in the Yoga & wellness retreat. The programme was perfectly designed by Siân, Kendra and Piper to cater for all abilities and the wellness side of things blew me away. We all went on our own journeys, supporting each other as we delved into our hearts to create true connections and meaning. I made some soul connections that I will never forget. The massages were amazing and the sunsets spectacular (star gazing on paddle boards at night is out of this world). I could continue to write about Dryft but I’ve never been one for spoilers. My parting thought/advice/recommendation is “Go”. Go to Dryft and experience a piece of paradise (even if it takes a long flight to get there). Like the advert says….. you’re worth it !

Bravo Chris & Faith ❤️

Can’t wait to come back and see you all again x

PS - You know I will be back, as I still have a few cocktails left to try ;)

Lovely island with very helpful staff, food was very nice every day with different options. Lots of activities to do (although at an extra cost for some) - volleyball, cards, snorkelling, paddle boarding. Lovely beaches on the island to relax on.
Due to it being remote there is no signal/Wi-Fi.
Depending on the room you stay in, can be very noisy at night as it creaks in the wind.
Not hugely expensive but cost more than most places you’ll go to in the Philippines and with nowhere else to get food from/other options, you have to pay.

Excellent accommodation for a chill, relaxing island holiday. Beautiful beaches, creative wooden structure at the center to explore with hammocks, swings and reading nooks with ocean views. Loved the yoga classes with the sunset and the sound of waves crashing in the distance. The tents were spacious and everything you need for a comfortable nights rest. The food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!!

It has been two fantastic nights here, with fantastic surroundings. The staff is very serviceminded, friendly and sweet. They make wonderful food with fresh ingredients and the staff are good at explaining what is in the food. They are also good at English, so they are easy to communicate with. It is clear that they try to give their guests the best experience.

We would definitely recommend this to others!

I spent 3 nights in the hive & wasn't at all impressed.
The beach & sand was full of rubbish that had been washed up. Unlike other places, I never saw anyone cleaning the beach, so the rubbish got worse each day. Bottles, plastic wrappers littered the entire length of beach.
With nothing else to do but swim, having the dirty beach was so disappointing.

Save your money & chose another place to stay.

Such a nice concept. This will forever be remembered as the top of the pop of my tour to the Philippines.
If you want a real island experience, then Dryft is definitely the right place.

The food is amazing and I love that they serve what they have on the island. We ate to our full every single day because the food was so delicious. Big applause to the kitchen staff. Amazing job!

Last but not least: what a friendly and service minded the staff is. Specially Bob, who really knows his stuff and in a charismatic way always make you smile.

Thanks for everything. I hope to come back some day 😍

Dryft was beyond everything I imagined. This place is a hidden paradise, taken care of by amazing and dedicated people who made it feel like home. By the time I put a foot on the island, I knew I'd never want to go back. The hive was great, the beach perfect and the food was delicious and always different! I just got engaged here, couldn't have been in a better place on Earth.
Thanks for everything.

What is the best way to get to you from El Nido?
Answer from Stef
Milan, Italy148 contributions71 helpful votes
Dryft has got a set pick up in El Nido (I think at 2 PM). If you want to find your way there on your own (like we did), get to San Fernando and then rent a boat from the little harbour to get you to the island. If they drop you on the side of the island that faces San Fernando, you will have to follow the trail in the jungle (very easy) to get to the other side. Otherwise, ask the boat man to drop you directly on the other side (where Dryft camp is). We paid 600 php from S.F, after a good bartering. Hope it helps!
