Stayed here 4 nights in a deluxe sea view room on the ground floor. Hotel is more like a motel, small room feels tired with worn out towels, no comforter on bed just a sheet (it's ok because you don't really need one), cramped and dimly lit bathroom. Heavy wooden furniture in room and patio uncomfortable and not made for relaxing so you definitely don't want to hang around your room for long. The hotel fronts a public beach so vendors often walk by touting their goods. Since our room was ground level other guests and the security guard were always walking back and forth on the outside hall which was outside our room so no feeling of privacy with our curtains drawn. Upper floors are probably better. Walls are thin, you hear everything...people talking upstairs, outside, even the 24 hr security guard I can hear talking and laughing at around 4-5 am. You literally hear the area coming to life very early in the morning. What was good were the views, the included breakfast, air con worked, the staff, and it was close to town.

First of all there is no option for an airport pickup. There are no taxis or extra vans. We called the hotel and they sent a tricycle at a cost of 300 pesos. There are two of us with our luggage so we needed two. 600 pesos to get to the hotel. We came in on Air Swift. The only flights were in the morning. 6:10 6:45 and 7 something. The flight was great. However, when we arrived they still needed to prepare the room. We took a walk, had breakfast, did some shopping and returned to the hotel. We were told that the manager would not let us have our room because check in is at 12:00. Okay, understandable. They didn’t offer water, coffee or anything. After sitting for a while I decided I was too tired to sit on the porch any longer so I asked to just be refunded. We have 5 nights booked. The manager said no refund- check before you buy- but they did let us have the room that was ready.
There is no “free breakfast” as there is no restaurant anymore. We booked for my birthday and NewYears so we will make the best of it. However, I suggest they clean the place up, get a new owner/ manager. I understand there is a pandemic - but if you can open , treat the guest with kindness as we are helping you keep a business.
On our first day there was water provided, as most do. No coffee maker and no restaurant at the hotel. Water was not provided any of the other days. Internet was really bad.

I understand why reviews of this hotel are so mixed. I first stayed in the newer part - a beautiful room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the beach. The room was clean, new and sparkling. There was a modern key card lock system, a fabulous bathroom and great views. Then, I was transferred to a room in the older section. Here, the bathroom had only a hand held shower head, the grout was discolored and the water didn't drain well, leaving me standing in a puddle while using the sink. The wood furniture and floor was scuffed and worn. The door lock used a key and was a bit flimsy. That said, it had a balcony overlooking the beach that offered the same great views. Avoid the first floor, as others have said, because people walk by on the way to breakfast and there is little privacy. El Nido beach is very busy, with walkers, vendors, even motorcycles, so be sure to get a higher floor.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The rooms are extremely basic and shabby, the bathrooms stink, the breakfast is a pathetic offering, rooms at the front are plagued by traffic noise all night and rooms facing the beach are only marginally better.
Arriving at the hotel is not as imagined - the reception desk is directly on the road and a sign advising you that the waste water system has been shut down due to violations of the public health regulations isn’t the best start to a holiday. That, and finding that the hotel does not have the rooms you booked. Add to that the fact that the hotel reception operated without a land line phone and there is never a manager on site.
Take my advice and stay somewhere else to avoid a huge disappointment. We had to move to a different hotel after 3 days because it was intolerable to stay any longer. Horrendous!!!

I paid for a deluxe room with a sea view, had the receipt, and showed it to the check in, and they only gave me a standard room (their paperwork said I only paid for a standard room even though the amount they received did not match what a standard room would cost) the receptionist was utterly rude and unwilling to do anything about it. The toilet was literally covered in urine-It looked like someone had destroyed it in spite. The shower was filthy. The room was infested with roaches. I literally stayed a handful of hours and was willing to lose all the money I spent on this reservation that is how utterly terrible this place is. DO NOT stay here. It was how rude the staff was that was the breaking point-unbelievable. I travel a lot, like every month and this is without exception, the single worst travel experience I have ever had.

This hotel is run down and needs a major renovation in the older rooms. Our room had a stench, towels looked visibly yellow even after requesting new ones, and the bedsheets + pillows smell like sweat mixed with detergent. I've read a review from 2019 that the towels looked run down and old so i'm assuming they havent replaced them. It seems they prioritize the newer building instead of the old and run down one.

Also, the bathroom towels and beach towels (that we had to pay and rent??? Which is ridiculous) were all dirty and stained. Majority of the towels we were given were stained with weird looking stains.

The bathroom grout on the floor where you shower is difficult to look at and the water when showering gets everywhere. I could imagine that there would be black mold developing from the amount of water that gets everywhere in the bathroom.

The room we were given had a great view, but the sliding door was IMPOSSIBLE to open. Theres no screen either, which is disappointing with the amount of mosquitos and other bugs that tend to fly in.

The staff is friendly but they need to hire better cleaning people. The rooms have dust everywhere, especially on the window sills and the bed sheets have nasty visible stains. Also the curtains clearly have never been washed. There were ketchup stains in my parents rooms curtain... so disgusting.

Lastly, the breakfast was ok. It was disappointing to see majority of the bread and other items not covered were touched by flies. I could imagine the amount of times flies were touching the uncovered food since the food was unattended when we arrived at breakfast. I was highkey disgusted and did not have an appetite after seeing the flies.

Honestly, we wanted to switch our hotels after seeing all the reviews but unfortunately the cancellation policy is no refunds so we had to suffice this dirty hotel.

The owner/ management needs to take these reviews into consideration because it seems that the owner is very cheap and greedy. This place could be a hidden gem but unfortunately the rooms were extremely disappointing. The ac was 10/10 was the only good thing.

Also, the beach was basically unusable, there was dog/ cat poop everywhere on the beach and no one was swimming. This is a beach hotel so it says a lot that none of the guests were swimming at the beach.

Anna, Leah and the security were all helpful and kind but the owner needs to read these reviews.

The room we stayed at had a stench. I have allergies and very sensitive to smell. I asked them to clean our room again to remove the smell. The pillows, sheets smells like sweat! I asked them to also change our pillows but they all smell so I slept with my mask on the entire night. I asked to be moved to another room but they did not have a vacant room and asked if they can clean it again and change all the sheets and pillows. I realized that the pillows is the main problem after coming back. They cleaned the room but the pillows are the culprit. I took down the four pillows and requested for new pillows and they said that it does not smell. I told them not to bring back the 4 pillows in our room. We still have to put the pillows under the sun to help remove the smell. I had to put a towel on top of my pillow to alleviate the smell. Also, the towels are soiled and dark. It also smells! I can hardly use it because it has that musty smell! Bad experience!

When we checked out, they asked us to wait to check that everything was fine. I wanted to ask them that when they went up to the room, they would look at the amount of dust that was under the bed, how the bathroom smelled like a sewer, everything wet, water. stagnant, mold on the bathroom ceiling and ants everywhere, the dirty wall with yellow stains under the air conditioning and trying to open and close the balcony door. But I kept quiet because we were in a hurry. The staff in the dining room is on their cell phones all the time.
Total disappointment, a disaster. We have been traveling to many parts of the Philippines and Bali and this hotel was by far the dirtiest and the worst value for money.
Oh, and the TV didn't work. Everything makes you upset. We found some dirty blue sandals... we didn't know if they were courtesy or forgotten by the previous client :(

I made the mistake of booking accommodation late for El Nido so not many options left when I arrived. Stayed a few nights here and apart from the beach view, there was not much else positive to say. Some of the staff were ok, but some were quite unhelpful and didn't appear that approachable. Room was basic, shower kept falling off the wall, and room was not cleaned for the 3 days I stayed.
Breakfast is very basic and not worth getting up for and for the price, I expected a bit better. Rooms have terrible sound proofing so you get all the conversations from outside the rooms, especially late at night.

Tip - book El Nido accommodation well in advance of arriving !

This hotel is worn out and in poor condition. I never had a balcony as I was expecting. Lots of room items were broken like the shower pipe, lights, fridge, safe (they replaced it but the safe could just be picked up and moved). I feel the whole town of El Nido has been over developed and ruined. Id like to say the staff were lovely and were very helpful.

I booked directly threw their website and payed via PayPal. There was no confirmation email sent but when I emailed them they responded that my hotel reservation was made and said to just use my name upon arrival. I kept the paypal transaction number just in case but it all worked just like they said. I booked the hotel 7 months in advance too.

There's no parking available near the hotel. It would be best to hire a car/van to drop you off in El nido and pick you up when you want to come back to Puerto Princesa. Hope this helps!

1. The beach front has lots of boats. But you can rent a kayak and sail a bit further. Helicopter island is great for snorkelling. 2. El Nido Beach Hotel has AC. January is considered peak season and generally nice cooling weather. Electricity is available as hotel has generator. 3. There's a couple of dive shop in the area and its all walking distance. 4.There's a lot of restaurants in the area and its walking distance. Try Altrove (Italian) or Art Cafe. 5. It's either you walk around or rent a tricycle for PhP60. 6. You need to go to Puerto Princesa and take a van to El Nido which will take about 5-6 hours depending if it's public van, private or chartered. You may wanna try Daytripper. It's a chartered van but its not crammed as compared to a public van. The driver will send you directly to your hotel. 7. The hotel offers deluxe sea view. Think we paid PhP5K per night. Suggest you send them an email as I'm not sure if they reply here.
