We booked 2 nights here at the end of our trip in El Nido. We thought paying $400 per night would be very luxurious but overall we would pay about $200 per night for this in Australia or only $100 per night in Bali, so we found it strange that prices in El Nido are so high. Pros - Staff very friendly, rooms very large, decor is modern and rooms are clean with a nice view of Corong-Corong beach, the pool is nice but small. Breakfast was good. Cons- We didn’t get hot water until our second night’s stay, wifi didn’t work in the rooms (only at the bar), they charged 500 pesos per way for going into El Nido town - at $400 per night we expected this would be a complimentary service as other hotels included this for free and charged less per night, the roof leaked but they moved us

We spent 4 days at the hotel and paid way too much for the service received. We paid kind of 16000 PHP per night, which is A LOT compared to the prices you'll pay for the food, transportation, tours, rentals, activities or whatever). The price only includes breakfast. The wifi does not work most of the time and when it does is slow, so make sure you don't have to use it to book tours or do the flight check-in. The price includes kayak and paddle surf boards. The staff is awesome and the room is very nice. But again, the price is super high for what you get.

Dear gecoltra, On behalf of the entire Frangipani El Nido Team, I would like to thank you for taking the time in writing us a review and providing feedback. We take pride in providing a unique holiday experience to our guests which separates us from the other accommodations on the mainland of El Nido. We are taking your comment to heart to further improve our services to meet guests expectations. It is unfortunate as well that we could not provide you with satisfactory internet service during your stay. We, however, have placed all necessary tools and equipment to boost access to the internet but given the infrastructure by the network provider on the island, and especially on our strip compared to that of town and Lio area, there are days when it can be unpredictable for our area. Rest assured that we are continuously working on providing our guests with a better internet connection If you could kindly contact me directly at the hotel. I truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back, so we can provide you with the exceptional experience that our guests have come to expect from us.

We had a fantastic stay (4 nights) at Frangipani and would definitely recommend to others visiting El Nido. PROS - Beautifully decorated throughout. - Located out of the noise of El Nido town. - Staff incredibly polite and courteous. - Staff excellent at arranging island hopping tours for us (special shout out to Lovelyn Tours and our wonderful guide Erwin) - Food was excellent in the restaurant, big breakfast and good selection for dinner. - When we had to leave early to catch the ferry to Coron, the hotel made us a delicious breakfast sandwich and gave us a bottle of water to take with us. - Little touches were very thoughtful such as leaving small parcels of home made cake in our room. CONS - If it matters to you, please be aware that the WIFI was very slow. We would also

This was a lovely secluded retreat with amazing views. Being new everything was crisp and clean. We loved the coconut welcome drink and the reception staff were outstanding- a young chap with side parted hair... forgot his name...he was simply amazing...the room was spectacular with breathtaking views. After long days out island hoping and diving I cannot day enough about how superb the bed was... and the lovely mats where we did yoga each morning...all amenities like hair dryer and adaptor in a lovely basket... love the bar, sunset and the nature feel.... Feedback on Meals: We ate here due to the hygiene issues in El Nido with many reporting being sick. Well done on being clean! We did not fall sick once... The breakfast could be improved... I don’t think we each need to

Hello! Thank you for taking the time and leaving us with a review. We appreciate the comment that you left as well as this helps us improve our services. After receiving this review, we raised your concerns to the partners and met with the staff to discuss improvements in food and dining service to all our guests. Rest assured that on your next visit, these have all been addressed and solved. Our restaurant opens at 7:00 AM where our staff can take guests orders for their ala carte breakfast. We do apologize for the wait but have already informed our staff about communicating the wait time for breakfast as all ingredients are made fresh every day. As for our staff having meals at the restaurant, we do encourage the team to eat as a family and ask that our staff take their meals prior to opening the restaurant and lounge to guests as their health and well-being is also our priority. Again, we appreciate your comments as this helps us improve our services. We hope you still had a wonderful time in the Philippines and wish you a great day ahead!
