Upon a long self drive up from Princessa we went to take a shower when we discovered the water was black! We left it running and continued to stay this colour like its coming directly from a sewer & it stunk like it too!! Our door had gaps around it so big you could see people in the corridor which wasnt ideal. Room view didnt bother us as we just wanted a fairly decent hotel to sleep and shower at but we didnt get that atall. Id rate this a 2 star and thats being generous. This place offers "parking" but its free for all outside the convenience store which is below the hotel, usually packed with bikes so dont rely on parking their atall. Breakfast was disappointing too, we went at 8am and everything had gone other than a few slices of bread. Overall i wouldn't stay again we moved onto an Airbnb villa locally for similar money. …
I was extending my trip and stayed an extra night in El nido and was looking for a place that is close to town, a proper hotel with 24/7 reception and people around etc (as there are lots of smaller like guest house places around as well that just rent out a room) and wasnt sure about one el nido suite coz of the mixed reviews here. It was a good choice to stay in the end especially as I was alone and felt safe in the complex (there is a supermarket downstairs and you take the lift and reach the lobby of hotel on first floor). the hotel is much bigger from inside than what it looks like from outside actually, big lobby with seating areas and also the room had good size. I didnt have breakfast or anything at the hotel as I was all day out exploring. i paid like 70 $ for the night and think its a good choice if you are looking for a basic accomodation- nothing fancy, good sized clean room (like probably 20sqm). If you want to have wifi ask them for one of the rooms on ground floor close to lobby as it works better there. Staff was also nice giving me tips for nicest beaches around etc. They also have a free shuttle to the airport.…
Gross room, we had a view on some slums and the local market. The bathroom was not too bad but nothing spectacular. However, the worst was the breakfast- I must say it was the worst throughout our 1 month stay in the Philippines. We paid around 100Eur for one night and it was definitely not worth it. Btw the El Nido city is dirty, loud and full of trash.
Stayed there for 3 nights and the experience overall was just okay. I really liked the big room which was very clean, also the complimentary water and the fridge which kept it cool. When the electricity was going off, it had an emergency light in the room, so we weren't kept in the dark. Unfortunately, WiFi in the rooms and the lobby was absolutely poor and sometimes non-existent. You had to go to the rooftop which was not ideal if you wanted to relax on the bed. The breakfast was extremely poor with food what looked like leftovers from the night before. One evening when we were sitting in the terrace, the staff were having dinner and had a big plate of rice, the next morning some rice which didn't look fresh was served for breakfast. If you don't get there when they first starting serving, you'll be eating cold food - cold scrambled eggs and the meats which often didn't even look appetising. One morning they were out of bananas (and other cut fruit had lots of bugs on them) and I asked the staff if they had more as other guests had banana peels on their tables, but they said they didn't have any more bananas, so the food served was very inconsistent. Overall, it was an okay place to stay, but it wasn't in the best location as you had to take a tricycle to get anywhere (unlike El Nido Town where you can at least walk to lots of cafes and restaurants).…
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was fine for what we needed. Close to El Nido town, we used the tricycles every time for 50peso. Breakfast wasn’t great at all. Settled for toast every day as the rest did not look appetising. Bed was comfortable, rooms were clean. Wifi not brilliant, kept disconnecting which was frustrating when trying to search for places to eat. Not a bad hotel at all.
