The rooms are bohemian styled and super clean! The resort is under renovations, but we were properly informed on forehand. When we arrived I was sick and the staff helped us so much in getting better. As a gesture they offered free minibar. Nice feature as well ; the huge lcd screen in the room with Netflix (mediaTV) which was great whilst laying sick in bed haha The resort itself looked smashing and we cannot wait to get back there for the full experience ones finished!

We stayed at Villa Dali for 5 nights at the end of our trip to the Philippines. The acc in El Nido is expensive generally and to be honest we were a little worried if we would be happy with our choice. We paid £400 for our stay inc breakfast. We had no reason to be concerned. Villa Dali is a tranquil little hideaway surrounded by a lovely little garden. We were pleased to find that since we booked they have made several improvements, such as decking around the pool area and the addition of some lovely sun loungers. We stayed in the Villa Dali room which I believe is the biggest room, all on one level. The room itself was extremely spacious but quite dark(not really an issue as we only really slept there). The shower is very powerful however it never seemed to get properly hot,it was more warm than hot. Villa Dali also has some newer rooms which have fantastic roof terraces which you share with the room next door, these have a space to eat breakfast as well has rocking chairs and hammocks, making it a great place to chill out(next time I would try these rooms). The property is spotlessly clean and the complimentary breakfast brought to your room at your chosen time is a nice touch. A kettle and fridge are provide for you during your stay, along with tea, coffee and drinking water. Villa Dali has no bar or restaurant so if you are wanting to be waited on this probably isn’t the place for you, there are plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby. If you are looking for a base to explore El nido this is definetly a great choice. You can pick up a tuk tuk from the main road to town for around 100peso.It’s worth mentioning that there is a hotel being built next door which generates quite a bit of noise, but El Nido is rapidly developing and I think you will struggle to find somewhere that doesn’t generate some noise unless you stay somewhere quite remote. Big mention to the lovely staff at Villa Dali, they are friendly, polite and will do anything they can to help. We would defiantly stay here again.

We stay at Villa Dali terrasse suite for 4 nights which turned out to be a horrible choose for the following reasons: - no real cover on the bed, only a simple sheet - we had to reuse the same poor quality dirty tower for 3 days, despite we asked to change them - one dress missing after laundry (although they brought it back after I asked) - no water at 7.30am on our last day, it came back at 7.45 but was yellow for unknown reason - the hotel doesn’t have any bar or restaurant or common seating area - impossible to sleep due to the noise from animals - the female hotel manager was very rude and unfriendly - area under construction, impossible to enjoy the beach or relax £100 per night is definitely overpriced for such a hotel with horrible service and no comfort in El Nido.

What a lovely hotel with very friendly staff everyone is super nice and friendly. Our room was lovely really cool and the grounds around the hotel are beautiful! We had a really cool rooftop chill out area on top of our room where they serve your breakfast it’s worth having saves you walking somewhere! We hired a bike from our hotel a couple of times and that was helpful and a great way to get about! The pool looks lovely sadly we didn’t get chance to use it during our stay !

It's not very easy to find. The tricycle drivers would scratch their head every time we mention this resort. We were greeted by Manu that evening, who took our breakfast orders and gave us a glass bottle of distilled water. I really appreciated how this hotel was being mindful of using less plastic. There were no other guests during the night we checked in, so I enjoyed the privacy very much. The breakfast area was open, and we were given a friendly reminder to take our breakfast promptly, or else the cats that hang around the hotel area would get to it first! The Filipino breakfast was of good quality - the fruits were fresh and I enjoyed the coffee. The only things that would have made our stay better is if the pool was available for use and if the water pressure would have been improved.

We were so very excited about visiting Palawan and El Nido for 6 nights to stay in this rustic, authentic looking hotel. However due to typhoon mankut(which hit the morning we were due to arrive in Manila) we could not fly into Manila as our flight were canceled and could not reach our destination in Palawan. We were hoping for a refund as we couldn’t reach el nido safely. We would have also been happy with a partial refund or a credit or change the dates for later in the year when we would return. However the hotel would not budge on their cancelation policy, nor did they even offer an alternative solution for us. We tried calling and sent so many emails on the days leading up, however we were met with delayed, generic un compassionate response. Having worked in the hospitality for 10 years I have never experienced such customer service like this. Very disappointing. We have lost 6 nights accomodation

We had a lovely stay at Villa Dali during our trip in El Nido. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay, they were extremely attentive and caring - the best in El Nido! The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean, with working airconditioner and hot water. The hotel is located conveniently with easy access to the beaches nearby. Breakfast was provided with our stay and we recommend the Filipino breakfast, as that was very delicious and filling. If you love being surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery, then Villa Dali is a unique and perfect place to stay. We’d like to thank the staff for an extremely welcoming and comfortable stay, and we will definitely come back!

Amazing hotel, the villas a just mind blowing. The pictures do not do it justice. The villas are like this: 2 separate rooms on the ground floor with their own entrance and the entire roof is yours as a patio. Its huge. The pool just amazing and perfect for a late night dip. The service is just unreal here. Manu and Joseph who work the front desk took amazing care of us. Anything we wanted they arranged and treated us like relatives. My friend and I did no planning for this stay whatsoever, but Manu took care of everything. I hope to see these guys again and stay at this villa some day again!

On the plus side: great service. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and requested to have a special diner made for us. With limited ressources on the island, the staff went out of their way to make us a nice diner and decorate the room for us. The place was new, clean and trendy. We loved it. On a negative side: we think they overcharged us for the diner and the Villa Price... around 240$/night as we booked from Canada. Once we were in the Philippines, the price dropped. This gave us a sour taste! The pool never worked. The water was not save to bathe in. They offer "complimentary" breakfast to compensate for the usable pool... Sad breakfast: "a piece of dry toast, jam and a banana". Seriously, for over 200$ a night for the Philippines, this was a ripped off! A short 2 minutes walk from the Villa is the "beach". Beautiful view from far but full of garbage. It is suitable for bathing. A nicer beach is around 15 minutes walk along the shoreline. The place is situated outside of Elnido town but easily accessible by tricycle. 20-30php. Would I recommend this place? Not at 240$ / night. But for sure it is beautiful...

Response from FranceQM, Guest Relations Manager at Villa Dali Resort
Responded Sep 26, 2017
Dear SAPmontreal Congratulations on your wedding anniversary and thank you for staying at Villa Dali. We are glad to know that you have enjoyed your special dinner, clean rooms, and good services. Our rates usually change depending on the season. Unfortunately, El Nido does not have government supplied water. Due to lack of water supply, our well ran out of water last March, April and and May. However with the onset of the rainy season, our pool has been in very good shape since late June. We are disappointed to know that the breakfast at that time of your stay did not meet your expectations. Please note that we have upgraded our regular offering. Should you have further concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach us directly. Warm regards, Villa Dali Resort
