Great place to stay and relax! They have the kindest and most accommodating staff. The view was really really great, the stony part of the beach has the great view in the morning. We are also allowed to use tent by the beach but bonfire was not allowed. Need to prepare power banks 'cause the electricity was 6-10pm only.

Amazing family, so friendly!! Facilities are super basic but you're in a cottage on the beach after all! Wifi isn't great but that's to be expected on a tiny island. Great food cooked fresh to order although most was deep fried - would have been nice to have some grilled fish instead. Great sunset view as well. We were the only two tourists on the island! Recommended for peace and quiet and chill out time.

Not only do you have your own privacy but marys seems to attract a grest crowd. Met the most amazing people here.. if youre used to roughing it youll love marys. Although its very basic its also very quirky and because its at the end if the beach.. you open your door to a private beach with a hanmock :) your own little paradise.. plus the wifi is the best we had in all of palawan

Love this place, it's cheap and a great location. This accommodate is basic and you get what you pay for! Personally I think Mary's is a great place to stay! Love Palawan, Palawan is a 10 out of 10! In the same breath I am giving Barbados a 7 and the Maldives an 8.

We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights (3 pax for 600 pesos) and had the best time. Right at the beach, at the very end, quiet, very basic (cold water shower and toilet, no mirror or sink). If you are looking for a cheap basic place with a fantastic beach you should definitely stay here. Electricity at all beach huts in sabang is only available from 6-10pm but that's totally fine if you bring a head lamp and/or torch. We would definitely come back!

The bungalow is very basic but you have your own bathroom and this for a good price... 500 pesos per night... The place is at theextremity of the beach which can be good if you really want calm but that could be something to consider if you have kids... it is a 15 minutes walk to the pier... And the must is the view from the bungalow... just lovely...

right at the end of the beach this place is quite nice for what you pay around 500 pesos. Recommended in guide books I'm sure it sees a lot of backpackers - if they're fully booked though there's plenty of other beach front similar cottages for the same price.

Sabang has a number of places to sleep for the night. They are either very expensive resorts or rather overpriced crappy rooms with electricity only from 18.00-00.00 sometimes even less. We went around to all of the cottages on the beach and price ranges between 400-1000 for basically the same thing. Everywhere there are ants, mosquitoes, mice feces and dirt. I didn't find one place under 1000 that felt fresh. We chose the cheapest of many bad choices and stayed at Mary's cottages. Electricity only between 18 - 22, an uninviting looking toilet, a room light that can't be turned off, animals walking on the roof at night leading to dirt coming into your room through the cracks and no sound isolation what so ever. Good things are that it's isolated and quiet (when your neighbour isn't talking), cheap and has a very nice view from the cottage. If you have to stay in Sabang and has a limited budget then this was alright but I wouldn't stay a night more even if I got payed.…

Clean and peaceful. Cottage was basic but fine. Views from the balcony are gorgeous. Staff nice We were moved out after 1 night as they were fully booked, which they hadn't told us when we turned up which left a bad taste in our mouths. 500 pesos for a night on the beach...cant complain too much
