My sister and I with our two friends were given a royal pampering at the Marco Vincent Dive Resort when they toured us in their Big Boat around Puerta Galera coastline from Sabang to White Beach last March 13, 2022.

There was so much fun aboard the boat when we were enjoying the music and dancing as we moved around. The captain had many great stories to tell about the different sites from both the historical perspective and also the unwritten storiws that make it even more.memorable.

The buffet lunch was so delicious like home cooked food levelled up many times higher. The staff were all so gracious in answering our questions as though they were our buddy mates for a long time now.

What makes this leisure tour more meaningful was the underwater clean-up led by the divers at Sabang Bay. That is such a noble act because it shows you that Marco Vincent is concerned about the sustainability of the ecosystem of their business operations. Most others would not think of the repercussions of a poorly maintained environment.

WE ARE SO THANKFUL TO MEL & MERCY, the owners, for providing us with this luxurious experience and demonstrating to all the values that go with responsible tourism.

Mabuhay and Bravo!

We recently stayed at the Marco Vincent Resort during a dive trip set up by Seattle Scuba. There were a total of 15 people in our group.

From day one, the entire staff memorized all of our names and all of our food allergies and preferences. They really went above and beyond and made each of us feel special.

Marco Vincent is absolutely incredible from the staff to the rooms/food/dive boat/accommodations. The staff made our trip truly unforgettable. We all formed such a genuine bond with each member of the team. When we look back on the memories, all of them include the Marco Vincent crew.

We were there during Typhoon Kimura. Throughout this event, the staff made sure that their customer service didn't sway in the least by providing excellent food, beverages and even threw a party to take our minds off the event.

My husband and I made our third visit to this wonderful resort in July 2022. The first two times were in 2016 and 2017. The service and hospitality continue to be outstanding beyond compare! The room was comfortable, everything was clean, the "Big Beth" diving boat is the best in the area, and the meals were superb. We stayed on the first floor next to the wonderful pool. Wi-Fi was free and fast. Every meal was delicious, including the hot 4-course lunches aboard the "Big Beth". Hot cloths, ginger tea, a shower, and a towel were available on the boat after every dive. Accommodations for dietary concerns and handicapped individuals are available (suggest advance request/inquiry) both at the hotel and for diving (such as entry and exit from the water). The ramp for boarding/exiting the boat from the dock has been changed since 2017, such that it is wider and especially easy for me to navigate now. Dive and hotel staff were extremely helpful throughout our visit. Handicapped or not, they will even help you put your fins on and more. Dive staff rinsed our dive gear daily for us, then it remained onboard the boat ready for our next day's diving with ease. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed 6 days of diving, including one day diving the world class Verde Island protected reef area that is teeming with diverse sea life. Other dive sites in the Puerto Galera area included both reef and muck/sand habitats. We like both kinds of habitats, and all offered great underwater photography opportunities. Many staff at this resort have taken a lead in preserving the local marine environment which is as good as it was on our first visit there in 2016, and even improved in some areas, despite challenges posed by the pandemic. At check in, we received a written dive plan (subject to conditions of course) that included descriptions of the sites. At checkout, we received a written log of the sites we actually dove, again including detailed descriptions. We returned home with photographs of so many critters: giant clams, cuttlefish, flamboyant cuttlefish, frogfish, leaf fish, scorpion fish, seahorses, pygmy seahorse, many kinds of nudibranch, clownfish and their eggs, porcelain crabs, orangutan crabs, mantis shrimp, eels, pufferfish, butterfly fish, octopus, wunderpus, beautiful healthy reefs teeming with fish, and much more. This is a photographer's paradise with 2 camera rinse tanks and charging capability that we used for video lights on the "Big Beth", a dedicated camera room with charging capability at the hotel, and so much diverse sea life to photograph underwater. We very much look forward to returning to dive and photograph there again!

This is a great Dive resort. Had a fantastic time. The Resort: The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was fantastic. I was particularly impressed upon arrival the staff had researched all 10 members of our dive group and called us all by name. The food was amazing, Ronald the chef did a great job both at the resort as well preparing the lunch meal on the dive boat each day. Ghen and Nathan did a great job of taking care of our needs while at the resort. Alyssa and Angie were also great at taking care of us. Very much personal attention by all the staff. The Dive Boat: (Big Beth)The boat was amazing. The Dive leader Marlon was fantastic at coordinating our daily dives. My assigned dive master was warren, who was amazing. Warren did a great job keeping track of everyone and locating interesting marine life for us to observe and photograph. He practiced safe diving practices and was knowledgeable of all the sea life we encountered. I was very impressed by Marlon, Warren and Sherwin working together on each dive to locate macro marine life for observation and photography. The dive crew was a class act, excellent crew. The crew delivered hot ginger tea and hot towels following each dive. the crew was friendly and very helpful. As a dive professional, I know what a great dive operation looks like. This is a great dive operation.

My husband and I made our fourth visit to this wonderful resort in June 2023. The service and hospitality continue to be outstanding! We stayed on the first floor next to the wonderful pool. The room was comfortable, and everything was clean. The chef prepared superb, delicious meals presented artistically throughout our stay. Several special dinners included homemade ice cream, barbeque, fireworks, and folk dancers from a local high school. Wi-Fi was free and fast. The large "Big Beth" diving boat is the best in the area, and the chef prepared excellent hot lunches on board. Hot cloths, ginger tea, a shower, and a towel were provided on the boat after every dive. Dive and hotel staff were extremely helpful throughout our visit, and excellent accommodations for dietary concerns and disabled individuals are available (suggest advance request/inquiry) both at the hotel and for diving (such as entry and exit from the water). We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed 5 days of diving, including one day diving the world class Verde Island protected reef area teeming with diverse sea life. Other diving sites in the Puerto Galera area included a wide variety of ocean habitats, and even though this was our fourth visit, we saw new critters we had not seen before. This is a photographer's paradise with so much diverse sea life to photograph underwater, two camera rinse tanks and charging capability on the "Big Beth", and a dedicated camera room with charging capability at the hotel. When we arrived, we received a written agenda for the week including planned diving sites (subject of course to conditions), and at checkout, we received a written log describing the sites we actually dove. We very much look forward to returning to dive and photograph there again!

I LOVE Marco Vincent Dive Resort! I am so thankful they were able to accommodate my family and I last second during Holy Week! I booked myself at Casalay Boutique Resort and was so disappointed that I left within two hours of checking in. I gave Marco Vincent Dive Resort a call and we were so lucky to get their very LAST room!

I’m so thankful for the entire team especially the manager who just was so incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed. They even greeted us with welcome drinks even though we had just booked moments before showing up.

The pool is super clean and fantastic, the plants and lounging area are so relaxing from the hustle and bustle of white beach. And… when you’re ready to join the party at white beach it’s only just a short walk down the street! Really it’s not a problem since most hotels are on a hill and an even further walk!

Their rooms are clean and linens are comfortable. Totally sufficient place to sleep after a day of excursions!

They have tooth brushes and hygiene kits available and hot water and of course, air conditioning!

The free breakfast is delicious and they have fantastic deals for sunset cruises on their personal dive boat.

My kids are already begging to go back to Marco Vincent Dive Resort and we hope to see you all in May!

Thank you for making such a memorable stay and for memorizing our names and just being such an incredible team!

The Marco Vincent Dive Resort is serious about service and comfort. In my diving experience, this is the most pampering I've encountered. They offer so many 'extras' - complementary massages, hot towels, and ginger tea when you get out of the water, to the great dive master-to-diver ratio. The staff and management try to think of everything to make sure you get the most out of your dive trip. We appreciated the large catamaran for our dives and staying on board between the 2nd and 3rd dives to have a freshly prepared lunch instead of returning to shore. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the almost nightly dance performances a tickle. The entire staff is caring and knew our names from the time we arrived! That said, it's far from a budget dive service (available elsewhere on the island,) but it's worth it when you come for the unique critters that live here, and having this level of care guarantees you leave satisfied.

Diving in the Philippines is not just a vacation, it’s a cultural Dive Adventure. It could not have been made any better than staying and diving at the Marco Vincent Dive Resort in Puerto Galera, less than 3 hours from Manila. As you travel to the outer island you become part of that culture, and each day you increase your enjoyment and respect for the environment, but especially the people.

Marco Vincent made traveling seamless. A van met me in Manila and a representative of the resort then escorted me on the ferry to the Puerto Galera hotel. The food was wonderful and the convenience of eating at the hotel where it was extremely well served and high-quality. The Philippine people are wonderful and everyone at the resort was just top notch.

The Five Star level of service offered by Marco Vincent Dive Resort starts with the staff greeting you as you enter the property, continues with the personalize towel and water bottle on the boat, detailed dive itineraries, and the constant smiling faces and daily greeting by staff. On your last day they deliver your detailed Dive Log to memorize your adventure.

I can't wait to go back!

Finally got a chance to re visit our happy place after over 2 years of this covidiot brouhaha. And we are happy to report that Marco Vincent is still our favorite place to stay in whenever we are in Puerto Galera, Mindoro.

The best staff are there. Thanks to Ms. Faith, Ms. Rizza, Ms. Che, Christian, and the rest of the service crew who make the guests feel so at home.

This was truly one of the best places that I’ve ever visited, and all my travels. The staff was top-notch and ready to help at all times. No request seemed to be a burden. The accommodations provided a comfortable place to relax and recover from the days diving. The food came with plenty of options. The entertainment was a welcome plus to the meals and introduced all visitors to the Filipino culture. The diving could not be matched. The Dive staff were entertaining, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. They even made accommodations for my wife after a difficult first day of diving .The dive boat was easily the best boat for diving I’ve ever been on. I can’t think the staff at Marco Vincent enough. They made us feel like family not just guest.

The one downside of the resort was that the wifi was sketchy at best. One day it worked and one day it didn't. I don't know if it was the fault of the resort or their internet provider. You had to go into the lobby for best wifi reception, but they always allowed you to use their computer for vital access if you could not connect with your own device.
