Very accommodating and friendly lahat ng staff sa hotel. Sila lahat nag-asikaso in our trip to Puerto Galera from transfer, land tour and water activities. Our room is spacious especially the restroom. The facilities inside the hotel are also nice, clean and cozy. Definitely will go back at Marco Vincent for my future visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finally got a chance to re visit our happy place after over 2 years of this covidiot brouhaha. And we are happy to report that Marco Vincent is still our favorite place to stay in whenever we are in Puerto Galera, Mindoro. The best staff are there. Thanks to Ms. Faith, Ms. Rizza, Ms. Che, Christian, and the rest of the service crew who make the guests feel so at home.
My husband and I made our third visit to this wonderful resort in July 2022. The first two times were in 2016 and 2017. The service and hospitality continue to be outstanding beyond compare! The room was comfortable, everything was clean, the "Big Beth" diving boat is the best in the area, and the meals were superb. We stayed on the first floor next to the wonderful pool. Wi-Fi was free and fast. Every meal was delicious, including the hot 4-course lunches aboard the "Big Beth". Hot cloths, ginger tea, a shower, and a towel were available on the boat after every dive. Accommodations for dietary concerns and handicapped individuals are available (suggest advance request/inquiry) both at the hotel and for diving (such as entry and exit from the water). The ramp for boarding/exiting the boat from the dock has been changed since 2017, such that it is wider and especially easy for me to navigate now. Dive and hotel staff were extremely helpful throughout our visit. Handicapped or not, they will even help you put your fins on and more. Dive staff rinsed our dive gear daily for us, then it remained onboard the boat ready for our next day's diving with ease. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed 6 days of diving, including one day diving the world class Verde Island protected reef area that is teeming with diverse sea life. Other dive sites in the Puerto Galera area included both reef and muck/sand habitats. We like both kinds of habitats, and all offered great underwater photography opportunities. Many staff at this resort have taken a lead in preserving the local marine environment which is as good as it was on our first visit there in 2016, and even improved in some areas, despite challenges posed by the pandemic. At check in, we received a written dive plan (subject to conditions of course) that included descriptions of the sites. At checkout, we received a written log of the sites we actually dove, again including detailed descriptions. We returned home with photographs of so many critters: giant clams, cuttlefish, flamboyant cuttlefish, frogfish, leaf fish, scorpion fish, seahorses, pygmy seahorse, many kinds of nudibranch, clownfish and their eggs, porcelain crabs, orangutan crabs, mantis shrimp, eels, pufferfish, butterfly fish, octopus, wunderpus, beautiful healthy reefs teeming with fish, and much more. This is a photographer's paradise with 2 camera rinse tanks and charging capability that we used for video lights on the "Big Beth", a dedicated camera room with charging capability at the hotel, and so much diverse sea life to photograph underwater. We very much look forward to returning to dive and photograph there again!…

June 2022. We, three of us divers from San Diego, CA, USA, made 41 dives in 17 diving-days with Marco Vincent Resort, White Beach, Puerto Galera, in a 19 days stay. Our purpose is in underwater photography. Diving: We used the 85 foot Big Bertha fiberglass outrigger boat through the days of 8am-4pm for 3 dives per day. I used all Nitrox, averaging 4 hours in water daily, 60-90 minutes dives, depth to 80 feet. Except for Verde Island dives, we emphasized om macros photos and had a great time shooting small marine lifes such as the mimic octopus, wunderpus, Ambon scorpionfish, Flamboyant cuttlefish, Pygmy Seahorse, Sheep Nudibranch, etc. On the boat, there is the shower, coffee and snack, drinking water, freshly prepared sit-down lunch with soup, salad, main course and fruits from an excellent chef, diving with two experienced dive guides who know underwater photography, ginger tea and hot tower after each dive, electric outlets for battery recharging, 2 camera tubs, air hose for camera drying, and a toilet. Diving equipment and some camera equipment were kept on the boat for the nights. After the diving day, all dive equipment was washed and hung to dry. The crew and boat engineer are excellent in repairing whatever needed. They do have one chase boat which we never needed. Hotel: Large swimming pool, outdoor showers, dining room, bar, no pests of flies, ants, etc., fast and free Wifi. All meals were served in an air conditioned dining room either a la carte or on daily menu, which we preferred, with soup, salad, main dishes and wonderful desserts such as banana flame, etc. - see list attached. My breakfast is usually oatmeal with honey and greek yogurt with a big plate of fruits, eg. papaya, banana, apple and mango, Batangas coffee and Kalamansit-cucumber juice. Hotel Room: We chose to have individual rooms, which have everything I need including the TV. electric Bug zapper, good and quiet air conditioner, hot shower, bath tub, toilet with bidet, toilet amenities, hair blower, drinking water, small frig, extension electric cords, fast wifi, and daily room service. On checkout, we were individually given a dive log showing our every dive with dive locations, depth, time and names of dive guides! – This is not common in my over 60 years of diving!!! Can’t wait to come back!!!…

My sister and I with our two friends were given a royal pampering at the Marco Vincent Dive Resort when they toured us in their Big Boat around Puerta Galera coastline from Sabang to White Beach last March 13, 2022. There was so much fun aboard the boat when we were enjoying the music and dancing as we moved around. The captain had many great stories to tell about the different sites from both the historical perspective and also the unwritten storiws that make it even more.memorable. The buffet lunch was so delicious like home cooked food levelled up many times higher. The staff were all so gracious in answering our questions as though they were our buddy mates for a long time now. What makes this leisure tour more meaningful was the underwater clean-up led by the divers at Sabang Bay. That is such a noble act because it shows you that Marco Vincent is concerned about the sustainability of the ecosystem of their business operations. Most others would not think of the repercussions of a poorly maintained environment. WE ARE SO THANKFUL TO MEL & MERCY, the owners, for providing us with this luxurious experience and demonstrating to all the values that go with responsible tourism. Mabuhay and Bravo!…
We recently stayed at the Marco Vincent Resort during a dive trip set up by Seattle Scuba. There were a total of 15 people in our group. From day one, the entire staff memorized all of our names and all of our food allergies and preferences. They really went above and beyond and made each of us feel special. Marco Vincent is absolutely incredible from the staff to the rooms/food/dive boat/accommodations. The staff made our trip truly unforgettable. We all formed such a genuine bond with each member of the team. When we look back on the memories, all of them include the Marco Vincent crew. We were there during Typhoon Kimura. Throughout this event, the staff made sure that their customer service didn't sway in the least by providing excellent food, beverages and even threw a party to take our minds off the event.…
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Marco Vincent on a dive vacation with a group organized by Seattle Scuba. I cannot day enough good things about the accommodations, food, beach proximity, diving and most of all - the staff. They make you feel like family and in fact, they fed and kept everyone safe through a late season typhoon!! Riza, Nathan, Jessica, Faith, Jeff, Abbey, Ghen, Arlene, Christian, Robert and of course the dive team (Marlon, Sherwin, Calvin, Coco and the entire boat crew), were wonderful!
No dive trip will EVER be the same we were sooo pampered! They knew our names from the moment we walked into the resort actually as we were getting on the ferry!! Dive team takes all gear to boat, sets us up on air or nitrox, helps putting gear on & off, dive masters for every 4 to 5 divers, helps taking off fins as we go up the ladder, hot wash towels & hot ginger tea after EVERY dive, towels and water bottles, snacks after first dive, unbelievable delicious HOT cooked lunches on board after the second dive and a cold beer after the last dive, they rinse down your equipment daily, then back to the resort for a GREAT evening meal and WONDERFUL entertainment, lots of Philippine food and cultural folk dances. We didn’t have to think/do anything but eat, dive, sleep then repeat! 8 days and 25 awesome dives later they rinse all gear, dry it all, bring back to your room ready to pack for home! Ohhh can’t forget the videos/photos taken by Rizza & Marlon! The staff at the Resort and boat are outstanding people that cater to your ever need. Thank you Rizza,Marlon,JaJa,Ghen,CoCoy,Liv,Sherwin,Christian,Ronald,Faith, and all the rest of the Marco Vincent TEAM!! I think we need a repeat on this trip!!! Definitely a first class dive trip!!…
