The Stunning sea view and captivating mountainous landscape is really breath-taking. There is a beautiful botanic garden all around with many colorful and interesting plants, trees and flowers. This garden also attracts the local fauna, birds, gekkos etc. Villa De Pico is elevated with nothing between it and the ocean and those ocean breezes are a refreshing and relaxing addition to your tranquility and "chill-out" retreat

Located on to of a hill. The environment is great. With a pool and access to beach. The building style is Filipino, which I like very much.
Also, the manager and staff there are very helpful, and willing to provide help when I ask.
Definitely a place I will visit again.

My wife and I stayed there for a week during the new year week 2013-2014. The rooms were clean with no bugs but the hot water did not work half the time. The wifi did not work at all. The staff was excellent! It's a live in couple that are related to the owners. The owners were ok but the managing staff was very accommodating, carrying her adorable infant in one arm while serving the guess. We fell in love with the baby who was also wonderful. The pool was ok. The steps were a drag. Free breakfast daily and a free lunch buffet once that was excellent. Beds were hard but comfy. The beach was rough but they are working on it. Many sea shells. I would stay there again.

pool is old and ugly same with the rusty bathroom, fake wifi, food quality not good but the serving is ok. the Receptionist/Manager/Housekeeper/MsEverything seems doesn't know what's going on with their resort. When we arrive there she's very suspicious that we can't afford the foods or their services that they offer, asking us how did we booked their resort at a cheap price, when we explained it she then told us there's no breakfast included because we got the room at cheap price (so nice for her to welcome the guests lol) it feels she's insulting us because most of their guest are foreigner and we're just local tourists at that time we feel like slapping her with our money so she can stop asking and doubting us. When we checkout she billed us with "food and drinks" only written on receipt my friend just smile when he saw that lol so be careful on what you order from their restaurant and keep track of it. Far from every place good thing we hired a tricycle to serve as our service and tourist guide. This is the place if you wanna get bored in puerto galera

I contacted Villa de Pico by telephone before booking with Booking.com. I was informed ' it was on the flat' and there was 'secure of road parking'.
On arrival parking was a space at the side of the road, where was the car park as mentioned on the web site, there was about 100 steps straight up, so much for on the flat. The English manager was contacted and he asked a member of staff (who insisted the parking space was the 'secure off road parking' ) to take us to an alternative hotel and wait to ensure we were booking in or then take us to an alternative. The manager said he would try and find out who I had spoken to and would cancel the booking, later it was recorded as a ' no show' which is incorrect.
At the next hotel the staff member from Villa de Pico left as soon as we went to see a room. He then contacted the new hotel by telephone and text message demanding commission. On his second appearance at this new hotel I confronted him, ordered him to bring his manager here and to stop harassing the staff for money.
All very unprofessional and sounding very disreputable and corrupt. Booking.com and Agoda both informed. I was thanked by the owner of the new hotel for ordering the staff member from Villa de Pico off the property.
This trip was planned for several months as it was to be our Honeymoon destination but I certainly would never recommend this place to anyone because of the staff on the phone and the staff member on the motorbike.

The place is very suitable for nature lovers. The people around are very friendly. Food is also delicious. And night bars and restaurants by the white beach are still must go places. Another weekend escapade should be planned.

You'll be shocked that the cost is a mere 1500 a night. For this you get a view tha reminds me of the Mediterranean hotels costing 10x as much. Food is priced for paupers but served for kings. Each dish is enough for three and cooked with Michelin scrutiny. I recommend Beef with Mushroom sauce. The black coffee tops every meal perfectly.

There's Rocky beach at the door step so swimming is not recommended but it's ten minutes from the nearest white beach.

Great for businessmen seeking to escape the grind. You'll get your groove back

There are really two places here: the best value is a row of fan rooms in Philippines style at backpacker rates--all very clean and rustic. Most with adjoining doors that would suit young families. The rest are standard rooms in thatched buildings some with air conditioning--a little expensive. The lounge and dining area are very good and open to the breeze. The Villa is on a hillside overlooking the ocean and the breeze keeps the rooms cool and the mosquitos away. The included breakfasts are simple and vary each day--eggs and toast or omelettes and toast, or pancakes. There is a small pool and steep steps to a stoney beach. It is a 15 minute walk to Puerto Galera and a tricycle or Jitney ride away from Sabang, and you can catch them right at the front door. Unless you are into rather crowded diving or the grotty night life, you wouldn't want to stay at Sabang, but the Puerto is interesting to visit, with several quite good restaurants. There is a rather ordinary Philippine lunch and dinner menu at the Villa, but large portions are served, and the cook kindly made several vegetarian meals to order for me in the evening. There was a nice family feel staying here, and the pleasure of daily conversations with the key staff, Paul, Rachael, and Julieta and her little daughter Sophia.

My friend and I shared a deluxe double and my other friends had the VIP Room. Both accommodations were perfect with balconies facing the ocean and the perfect spot to watch the sun rise. The rooms had fans but never felt hot due to the lovely sea breezes. The dining room was in a perfect location overlooking the pool and the ocean. The breakfast was ample and the menu for lunch & dinner was fantastic. Compliments to Raymond the Cook and Juliet his wife for such lovely service. The Manager, Paul, was absolutely marvellous, nothing was too much trouble and was a fountain of information on all things Peurto Galera. The Villa was about 5/10 minutes out of town but an easy walk or 50 pesos to hire a bike. Just walk down the steps to the road and hail one. The Villa is on a hill and accessible by a number of steps, which you do get used to! There is a pool table and good internet around the property. Sabang & White beach were about 15 minutes away for 150 peso bike ride. We really enjoyed our stay, the hospitality, good food and a view you could not stop looking at.
