Me and my son spent 12 Days diving with Tina's. They were very accommodating with our needs as my son is only a Junior open water diver and 11 years old. He was always excited to dive with Jay and his brother who always made his dives interesting. You can see some of our videos on my son's youtube channel - Aquatic Jhonas. Thanks to all the staff at Tina's and I recommended them highly.
After walking to every dive shop along the bay walk we decided on Tina’s Reef Divers for many reason. 1. Edwin M was a get AOW instructor and it was one on one which I was given the best undivided attention. 2. Reasonably priced and cheaper than most. This is because he has full loads of great divers. 3. Their clientele hangs out after dives and shoot the S**T and was a get crowd to be around. Jay and Libz where get divemasters that made it fun and they pointed out things everyone would miss from Frog fish mating, octopus and seahorses. 4. See you all in Jan 2020. Can’t wait to do my Deep dive and Nitrox specialty dives.
We dove here in Tina’s reef divers. It was easy and cheap. You can just walk in and they can take you to dive with them. We had fun diving with Jerry as he tried to show to us good spots. We did 3 dives and all are good. Water is clear and even there is a little current, the fun dive were all amazing. Beautiful underwater creatures and newly met divers too. The captain is very helpful in assisting us in the boat. This is a worth to try dive center.
Dives with Tina's Reef Divers were relaxing and very well organized. My advanced OW course was led by Edwin, a competent instructor with a lot of experience and an obvious passion for diving. Equipment was well maintained and in a good condition. The diving centre itself had a chill atmosphere, while also retaining safety standards and high levels of competency.
I’m a diver. So diving is my main concern. Shop is well coordinated, diving is inexpensive (their rental gear looks great). Dive guides are excellent. They run trips to Verde Island semi often. Sometimes we get 60 minute dives. Often we get our choice of dive sites. Night dives are often possible as they are training OW and AOW constantly. Dive shop has coffee. Divemasters flat out find good stuff. If you haven’t dove PG before then there are nudis galore, turtles, cuttlefish, different morays, frogfish, octopi, mantis shrimp, sand shrimp, red banded shrimp, about five more kinds of shrimp, giant clams, grouper, Nemo’s, box fish, puffers, hairy orangutans crabs, electric shell, pegasus fish, flying gunnards. Soft and hard coral of great variety. And lots of fish fish. My head just gets so full of good stuff. Hotels rooms are nice and large. There is cable and WiFi. Air con and hot showers. Refrigerator and two burner stoves available. One real nice feature is you can hot shower between dives and stretch out as the there are good surface intervals. Restaurant is just fine with local, Chinese, and western food. This trip 35 dives, and close to 300 dives here total. And as stuff is pointed out my eyes get better and I find all these things on my own. I have dove out of other shops here and like these guys best. …
