Amazing place to visit. If you planning a short or long stay it's a must place to visit. You can truly run away from everyday madness and enjoy the place. Located by the ocean close to three main beach resorts in Puerto Galera. Property is really nice with all the basics you need. Staff very friendly and go out of they way to help. They upgraded our room on arrival to make sure we are comfortable. Can't give this place enough praise.
Food is really tasty with good selection, including some traditional phillipino cusine.

Very nice family-run, beachfront Guesthouse, by Gadly and Dennis, with very nice and helpful staff. I had a nice and quiet upper floor beachfront room. Good food, secluded and mostly quiet at the end of a quiet beach, a bit beyond White beach. I can absolutely recommend this for a stay in Puerto Galera
Maybe we meet again my dear hosts, until then...a very big Salamat Po! 🤗

I can never thank Dennis, his family and his team enough for the quality of welcome and service! I felt like home, it’s a real paradise. For those looking for calm and authenticity, this is really the place you need to go! The food is also excellent, there are hammocks, a basketball court right next door, and so many possibilities! The staff helped me and found a solution to each of my problems!
Go there with your eyes closed!
Thanks again for everything ! Salamat

My partner and i booked in advance and planned to stay for 4 nights however decided to leave at the soonest possible time since we felt cold treatment and sensed rudeness with how we were accommodated. I told Gadly, the person incharge, that if possible we will just stay for 1 night, & refund the rest of the deposit but we understand if not. She replied saying that actually even if we're not finishing the 4 nights we still have to pay for it. Are you kidding me???? Just to end the discussion, told her we will just consume what we paid for in advance which is 2nights, she agreed. Then the following day during breakfast their staff Dennis informed us that we can already leave... seriously??? It was already a finished discussion so why tell us to leave the following day. It was very rude. Worst staff I ever encountered!!!!

we were expecting to be in the building you see in the photos no? well we were in the back, in a shack that cost 2K a night. don't get me wrong the beach and atmosphere is ok, food was average and service was ..well... not so great. Fair enough its a family run joint and they may not be top notch hoteliers..but come on 2 hours for dinner is a bit ridiculous. Ill be frank, it was OK but we won't be back. Oh, and there were no towels or toilet paper upon check in. a bit ridiculous for a 'hotel' if you ask me.

So happy we stayed here. Family owned and operated resort right in the middle of where you want to be on Talipanan beach. We took the shuttle straight from the pier to the resort. The family running the resort were so kind and well versed in English. We went straight there with no reservation and they even let us check in early with no extra charge. Our room was simple but had everything we needed (air con, cable, thick mattress, hot shower, thick walls) and just steps away from the water. The room was also very reasonably priced compared to other inns and resorts in the area. The room even came with free breakfast that was delicious, we recommend the Swiss breakfast because of the hash browns (yum). We ate a couple other meals there too which were also great with a pretty wide variety menu. Over all we had a really great, relaxing stay and recommend to anyone to stay here if visiting Talipanan beach.

If you're planning to have a vacation, im recommending the best resort in puerto galera which is Bamboo house beach lodge and restaurant. This was the second time that we had our vacation for this year and without a doubt we agreed on going back to puerto galera and to stay in Bamboo house.
As soon we arrived..Dennis informed us that we were upgraded to beach front room from standard room that we booked thru Agoda.
I consider this place as my second home. All of the staff here are very friendly and accomodating.
Thanks Dennis...see you all again next summer..promise we will stay there atleast 1 week para hindi na mabitin ang bakasyon...😊😊😊

The first time I stayed in Bamboo House was last March 2015 with friends. I liked the place so much that I stayed there again on September 25-28, 2015, this time by myself.
The place exudes tranquility, excellent if you want to get away from the chaos of the city. Spent four days just lounging in the hammocks and reading. The staff is superb and you can rely on Kuya Dennis and Miss Gadly to cater to your every need. Kuya Dennis is always polite and glad to help out.
The food is also excellent and fairly priced. Portions are usually good for 2 people, as I found out when I ordered pancit and couldn't finish the whole plate. Also try their chopsuey! For breakfast, ask to have your food by the dining area near the beach, the view is exquisite especially upstairs. I enjoyed having a sandwich in that area and just take in the view. I must have drank my weight in choco-banana milkshake! :)
For the rooms, I had the sea view aircon room last March and the corner sea view room (Room 5) in September. The corner room has no aircon and only a fan room but as it was not summer, the room was not hot at all. I recommend the aircon rooms during the summer months but otherwise, the corner room is great because of the view and you can really hear the ocean waves crashing on the shore below your balcony. Keep in mind that the rooms are on the small side but sufficient. The comfort rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is also one of the most comfortable beds you can sleep on. My TV was not working on the first night but they fixed it immediately the next day when I asked.
For anyone who has dogs, Kuya Dennis has informed me that dogs are welcome in the resort. I actually saw a guest with his family including their dog and the dog was just running around the resort without a leash but very well behaved. Bamboo house also has a very friendly dog, Tammy, who accompanied me more than once in the hammocks.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely go back! Thank you Kuya Dennis and Miss Gadly.

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, the employees are very accommodating especially Mr. Dennis and Mr. Gerald, they helped us in finding low priced activities and also the place is very peaceful. The room's price is just right, in fact it's cheaper than the neighboring hotels. We've dined in Luca's and in there we can surely see the difference between the staffs of bamboo and luca's, the latter's employees have this rude attitudes in which I believe no customer deserves to experience. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay in bamboo house :)

We stayed in the quiet part of Puerto Galera - Talipanan Beach.
From the Meulle port, Minolo shipping lines ferried us to this hotel. I believe this is a family run business and that the care-takers/owners are very nice.
The rooms are quite small but is of no issue. The Ambiance is nice and they have TV inside the room, restroom, as well as wifi.
They served us breakfast in the morning. You have the choice should you want continental, Filipino, or American.
The place overall is a relaxing place to stay if you want to rest and relax. I love their hammocks and their dinning area.

yes it is only a 10 minute trike ride to white beach ,but the beer is warm and the service was so slow that we were tired of waiting and ended up going to the sunny beach hotel where the service is great as is the food
I believe the only international airport from London to Philippines is The Ninoy Aquino international airport Terminal 1-4. Then from there, you have 2 options. Either stay at a hotel in Manila, and catch a coach bus with a free boat transfer the next day, going to Puerto galera (like si-kat). Si-kat goes to Sabang, and is a 15 to 30-minute travel to Aninuan where bamboo beach house is. Or, 2nd option is.. When you arrive at the airport. You can hail an Uber to a bus station (either in buendia, makati or south station in Alabang Muntinlupa) going to Batangas port. Batangas port is where all boats dock for Puerto galera. From Batangas port, there will be several boat transfer options and if you'd like to go straight to Aninuan where bamboo house is, there is 1 boat company offering that. Read my review.on bamboo house as I forgot what their name. Again, as a tourist.. Please use Uber if you'll be travelling in the city. Do not use taxis. All the best!
oh sorry. i just noticed that your question was posted over a year ago.
