The Suites - Small but sophisticated, elegant, and modern. I was so in love with the view showing both the ocean and the mountain. The Staff - I love the housekeeping team. They worked very hard in keeping simple requests fulfilled. They recreated the bed and room with flower design but the person I thought would appreciate it was never appreciative. I love Rose too and the FB team. However, there was a staff who wasnt honest about the room availability and expects STV to get the pricy room. We stayed for 5 days, requested for a free room upgrade as it was weekdays and they have less guest, but they seemed uneasy to talk unlike several hotels who are more accomodating. But then, I hope AVSuites would improve on this aspect. Lastly, our room during our 5th night was stinky/smelly which took them lots of time to decide that they were transferring us to another room. This experience was quite exhausting for me and never had this kind of hotel experience in my life. The sea view of this place though was stunning. NB: Probably, I was with a wrong person so everything seemed to be difficult and less easy here. But thank you AVSuites for the experience

We booked through phone and we expected everything will be ok. Asked if they have parking and they said yes. Asked the direction going to the parking area. We passed through a wrong road since they didn't completely explained where the parking entrance is really located. Went up on a very steep uphill road and had trouble on the way up. Had a dangerous encounter and called them up for assistance but instead of helping us, they were more focused on asking if we have a booking rather than assisting us first. We are already panicking because our car was in a dangerous angle and could fall considering that its night time but instead of making ways to assist us, the Manager said that it is no longer their business and that its not in their vicinity. It was a matter of life and death but they couldn't care less. We ended asking other people to help us who never hesitated to assist us. Since they never assisted us, never answered our calls and online messages, we ended up cancelling our booking transfered somewhere else. Negative zero recommended status for AV Suites. Very disappointed with the Management how they handled the situation. We could never recommend this place because of this.

Response from avsuites aninuan, Owner at avsuites
Responded 9 Feb 2023
Dear DJIGP, 1. Greeting from AV Suites Team. 2. In order to put up a review, you need to have a reservations or at least stayed with us. In your case, you do not have both and we both know that very clearly. 3. You was just a passer-by who got into trouble by taking a wrong turn outside the property premises. To make matters worse, you called, shouted and yelled at out staff to ask for a help. We have informed you politely that we do not have any drivers to assist you and its out of our boundaries. 4. This matter has been brought up to the nearest barangay hall and all parties was present at the hall and settled the matter accordingly. 5. Our suggestion to you and your family is that you educate yourself with mannerisms of how to approach others for help instead of shouting and yelling at the staffs to assist you with your personal encounters. 6. Please do not mislead the public by saying that you have reservations and you ended up cancelling the booking. The company reserves the rights to protect ourselves from any baseless allegations. AV Suites Team

AV suites is beautiful. Nice, clean and spacious accommodation. Pool was wonderful. Location is great, although you need to walk up 100 steps to get to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. Cons: The food was overpriced and not very good. When we requested for room cleaning, the staff “forgot”… but corrected their mistake by cleaning when we went out for dinner. Another complaint was having to pay 6k for two additional floor mattresses, even though it is included for free on the agoda hotel listing. Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay here again (but will go outside to eat). It really is probably the most beautiful hotel and location that we saw anywhere around the white beach area.

We stayed for 4 nights with our kids. Great place to be. A bit taff to get up the hill with plenty luggage. The food is great and the menu card not like most standard and repeating like many restos in the PG area. The chicken skewer with pilaf rice was outstanding. Very cool rooms with nicely done electrical work. Good Job from the elctrician there :-) Super infinity Pool with a great view to direction Luzon - Batangas side with Sunsets as its best. We bit far from PG and Sabang but for calm -seeker an ideal place.

Stayed here for 4 nights in January with the family & our furbaby. We were lucky enough to have the whole villa to ourselves. I can’t stress enough how amazing our stay was—this was primarily due to the gastronomical offerings we feasted on during our stay. Claire, the chef extraordinaire, was always willing to prepare whatever we fancied for the day. Most of our orders were off-menu. She specializes in Indian-Mediterranean cuisine and her offerings were better than some high-end Indian and Mediterranean restaurants in Manila. Her butter chicken, curry masala, lassi, shawarmas were more flavorful than what you get from RICH or any other well loved Mediterranean restos. Her take on Pinoy dishes like tinola and sinigang were authentic and something you will crave even if its a regular Pinoy fare. It is no exaggeration when I say it is worth going back to Puerto Galera again just to feast on her meals again. Although the meals were a bit pricey, it was worth every cent as the servings were more than enough for 1 person. Now enough about the food as I can go on and on about it. The place is newly renovated and the rooms are well-appointed with very comfortable beds, huge bathroom (with a full sized tub but no whirlpool). The aesthetic is rustic-industrial with Moroccan accents around. There are huge floor to ceiling windows that offer great views. The 2nd and 3rd floor rooms have patio/veranda that offers a view of either the lush mountains or the beautiful sea. The staff although limited are all very friendly and helpful. Very typical Filipino hospitality. The resort manager, Shalom, makes it a point to check-in with guests. Now on to the downside. Although the villa offers free parking, please note that the villa (and the parking) is located at the top of a very steep hill that it was impossible for a sedan to reach the villa’s location. If with a vehicle (unless 4x4), you will be left with no choice but to leave your vehicle in a small grassy clearing at the foot of the hill and make your way on foot (which is not an easy feat even for young people due to the steep elevation). You would need to call the villa ahead of time so they can send someone to help with the luggage. There is another foot entrance by the “front” of the property but this is also up several flights of narrow, grassy steps with no railing to hold on to. Because of the very difficult climb and descent from the villa, you will no longer have the motivation to leave and explore the surrounding areas unless you are physically fit. Definitely almost impossible for seniors and those with mobility issues. It would be great if the villa can provide a service that can pick up and drop off guests with a vehicle from the foot of the hill (at least during arrival and departure).

Fantastic place to stay in. Wide view of the spectacular Sea and the Mountains. Neat rooms, amazing staffs, worth the price. Location is definitely a class, safe neighborhood, uphill setting. A few minutes walk to the private beach.
