Basic hotel near the beach, the room had a bed, shower, tv, safety box, a fridge and air con. It was perfectly adequate for a short stay, 5 days. My wife and I took her Mum, Aunt, Uncle and cousin for a short holiday and booked 3 rooms, this hotel was the best priced.
The breakfast was ok , mostly Filipino choices but continental was available. We ate at the restaurant once in the evening and the food was excellent.
The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful and overall I would recommend staying here if you’re not looking for luxury and happy to stay in a budget hotel for a good price.

Marion Roos is located approximately 60 steps aways from the white beach of Puerto Galera.
Pros: - clean rooms - rooms at the 2nd floor are well ventilated - clean beddings and pillows - they provide towels and basic toiletries - one way shuttle service either from Balatero Port or to Balatero Port - free set breakfast - the owner is very nice and accommodating - clean and big toilet and bath with hot water
Cons: - not a beach front accommodation - no refrigerator
Despite of some cons, i will still go back and recommend this hotel. Thanks

I choose this out of the many options I’ve searched in net due to the spacious space and new facilities. PROS - Exactly as in the picture, spacious and clean. - Aircon and TV with cable is working perfectly. - Hot shower is working (because most claim this but is not working) - They let us borrow the electronic kettle and mugs for hot water for our tea/coffee. - Breakfast is cooked deliciously. Tocilog is my fave and they cooked it well. Brewed Coffee refill is a plus! Then you eat at the rooftop although better with shade. - Staffs are approachable and nice! - Free shuttle service when you arrive. - Safety is a must which they have CCTV and dual locks in the door. - Only 3-5mins walk to the beach, and away from the noise. CONS - Staffs dont have duplicate keys. What if the guest lost it? - I guess water in Galera smells really rustic. - Room has many mosquitoes inside the room. Good thing they let us borrow the insect spray. Overall - I will choose this again the next time I come back.

Run by a Polish/Filipino couple this hotel is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable, they have a wide variety of great foods and the staff is very friendly and customer drive. Close to the nice beach we really recommend this hotel

Top host, friendly and helpful staff. Good food and good location. The room is spacious and everything in it works. The whole village had a power cut once during our stay, but the owner was quick enough to put the generator on, so it was generally a restful night for all of us.

Pros: 1. Physical location is the best attribute for this hotel as it is 2 minutes walk from White Beach. However you have to walk through a restaurant and down a dark alleyway through local housing. Walking it on your own at night is uncomfortable. 2. Staff offered breakfast at a time of our choosing, so very willing to accommodate. 3. 2 Double beds, clean and comfortable. Room was reasonably big.
Cons: 1. Price too expensive, paying 3'700 pesos this room was not up to the standard I expected for this price. 2. Air-Conditioning unit present but might as well have not been there, didn't cool the room despite being on for hours and the one night staying here was spent covered in sweat and feeling extremely hot. 3. Bathroom sink drained slowly, bathroom basic and un-modern. 4. Hotel does not have credit card payment facility, I was directed to two local ATM's, without being told they only accept local cards not international, and with there being no international ATM in the area, this caused extreme difficulties for us, and subsequently caused us to miss our boat home to Batangas. Required us to travel 30 minutes to Sabang on a trike to go to a bank. Any hotel charging these types of prices should be offering a credit facility to pay. This caused significant stress and was not impressed. 5. Room was extremely noisy in the morning, there are local people living in the rooms next door and I was awoken several times by people shouting and talking walking past the room.
Overall: Glad I only booked one night and was happy to leave, location was the only reason this hotel was booked and I would never book here again.

The property looks new and it is well kept. It's just a few feet away from the beach and bars. The staff and owners are very friendly. They regularly check if everything is well. Also the room is reasonably priced.

It is our much awaited trip but and unfortunately we had a very bad experience with this hotel.
1) Free transfers but only for 1 way. They charge extra P500 to bring you back to the port. Late arrival of transfers for both ways.
2) No person is in charge at the reception area 24-7. So when you leave or need anything, no one will assist you
3) Lack of flexibility on the breakfast schedule. There are times that your flight is very early that you request for pack breakfast Instead as you paid for it but they won’t accomodate you but rather get mad at you
4) set breakfast that you order when you enter the breakfast area. When served , they give you different meals, drinks. When you correct them , they will just say that is what they listed even if they wrote it incorrectly. Servings are very small also.
5) Rude in dealIng with customers
6) Aircon is not cool enough to support the room. They don’t have electric fans on all rooms to make it cooler. Rooms, aircons, restrooms needs cleaning
Won’t recommend this hotel and will never go back
