This is a very old hotel that is looking it's age. My room was musty, but the bed was comfortable and there was hot water. The food was ok. The little bar is very nice. The best part was the view of the sun rise over the hills and clouds - stunning!

This is only choice in Banaue. Hotel haven't see any remodeling or even slightly touch up since 1950 . Yes nothing been done for more then 50 years ! But, you do have bed, shower and toilet. Food is Ok, as expected. On a plus side morning view from room spectacular !

This is a large hotel and they serve a decent breakfast. In its glory days this must have been a grand hotel but its been neglected from a maintenance point of view and it badly needs some investment. The bedrooms are spacious but the showers haven't been remodeled in probably 30 years. The taps are coming off the wall as is the sink. At least the water was hot and they provided a bucket and pail in the shower. The bed was comfortable but I got badly bitten by something (surprisingly though my wife didn't). The walls are very thin so you can hear the people in the next room.

There is no real bars in Banaue town, just a few small places selling san miguel and Red Horse beer. This Hotel has a proper bar selling cocktails, spirits and beer, making it a good place to go for a meal then a few drinks later at night. I was very happy we chose this place to stay while in Banaue. Some may say the Hotel is 'old fashioned', I prefer to call it full of character. The WiFi is slow but you are out in the remote rice fields of Luzon, of course you are not going to get superfast internet!

Room Tip: Pay for the most expensive room. It is still cheap and gives the best comfort and views.

This government run hotel is in one of the best locations in Banaue. The structure itself is huge. Plenty of parking. Big lobby. Large restaurant. But totally run down. What a pity. If only they maintained it properly since it opened it would still be the best hotel in the province.

Apparently, this is the best hotel in Banaue, as the other establishments mainly cater to backpackers. According to our information, it is owned and operated by the government. Very helpful staff. Impressive lobby. The room itself was not particularly clean with what looked like coffee droplets on the bathroom door and floor. Towel bars were rusty. Walls are very thin (especially if you have a snorers next door). Rooms have no AC, but a fan only. No safe in room, but available at front desk. Drinking water available throughout the hotel. Wi-fi only available in the lobby. Very large pool, however furniture was rusty. See also my review of the restaurant. We were treated to a cultural show, which was very good. Try to avoid, but you may have no choice if you want to stay in Banaue.

This hotel provides a basic service for travellers. It is the only hotel in Banaue and having read the reviews we were not expecting too much. The good points - good sized rooms, large lobby, welcoming staff and a large buffet breakfast. However it needs a massive update, as in our room sockets were not securely fastened to the wall, the mattresses were hard, not extra pillows or blankets were provided and pillows were thin. My husband was ill whilst we stayed here and upon enquiring whether there was a heater for the cold room, he was informed 'no'. I managed to get him an extra blanket, but this was an effort on the part of housekeeping. In the evening a lovely fire was lit in the lobby, but the doors were left wide open and the overnight temperature was about 12 degrees! Closing the door would have made some difference. There was a good cultural show one evening with very enthusiastic youngsters. Its a great location, but a little bit of tlc would massively improve this hotel.

It was awful, the toilet wouldn't flush there wasn't water for a shower, hot or cold. There was water leaking from the sink. It was dirty and not maintained or updated since it was built in the sixties, no outlets,no internet. The breakfast was not even eatable

Stayed one night with a tour. No elevator, so be prepared to carry your bags upstairs. The room was basic but spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. No A/C in the room but there is a fan. Basic bathroom with very limited shelf space. The sink faucet sputtered every time the water was turned on. Shower with hot water and good water pressure. Wifi only in the lobby (unacceptable in 2020). Decent breakfast buffet.

Friendly hotel with views over rice terraces. A slightly longer walk from the town centre than some, but only a 20 PHP ride on a tricycle to get back. There is no elevator, so you need to climb stairs if your room is not on the ground floor, Breakfasts were good. A good selection and it changed daily. No Air Conditioning, but I found the fan sufficient.
