After having a very bad experience and unfortunate event in Manila , I arrived a day late to my booking at Las Vegas Lodge. I was greeted with a warm smile by Cloyd the Owner/Manager who was extremely friendly. He showed me to my room and within minutes arranged a private driver/tour guide to The Rice Terrance at a very discounted price. My Guide was amazing - i had a awesome day. The next morning Cloyd helped me to plan my day by giving me suggestions of things to check out (View Point, souvenir shops, local town, restaurants) . He wanted to make sure I make the most of my stay in Banaue. The Lodge itself is very clean, beds are very comfortable , HOT SHOWER (SO GOOD!!), Short walk into the local village ,Amazing views from the bedrooms, very warm/welcoming atmosphere- wish i could have stayed longer! Must stay if you are travelling to Banaue .…
Stayed here over night with my family. To be honest, we do not have any reservation and was just introduced to this lodge by a local when we asked for a cheap place to stay. Lucky for us, they still have a spare room that can accommodate 9 persons. The host are friendly and accommodating. The owner even let my uncle use his motorbike since our car was broken and needs to be repaired. The only negative about this hostel is, they don't have AC power plugs and sockets inside the room. You need to go down to the receiving area for you to charge your gadgets and pay 15 pesos. But non the less, It was a wonderful stay.
We came to Las Vegas Lodge with not much expectations and knew that the amenities were basic. From the outside, it wasn't at all impressive. But you get surprised as soon as you step inside. The foyer opens you to a world of possibilities: friendly, warm, cozy, familial. Talk to the brothers who manage the Lodge and then you realize that they love what they are doing, they love their heritage and are proud of it. We had the hotel to ourselves and that was the bonus! The rooms are very basic, a bed with mattress, common toilet. Some common baths have hot showers. Flowing water.... Food is simple and delicious but presentation is of high end cafe. Ifugao coffee is delicious and very affordable. Look out the back window and you see your first glimpse of the rice terraces! I will surely go back and bring my children to experience this.…
Although the rooms here are basic and desperately in need of hot water, the service and location are incredible. Leio will take you on any level of hike through the rice terraces, as well as help you get to great food and sights around town.
