What I really like about this lodge is, first, its location. It's just a few meters away from the town center (where they hold the colorful and very interesting Imbayah Festival); there are eateries and souvenir shops down the street; and it is accessible to public transportation. Second, it has its own restaurant, that serves really good food for a low price, and souvenir shop. You can enter the lodge through either of the two and go to your accommodation upstairs. Third, the staff are really friendly and helpful. They always help me arrange guided tours (like when I went to Batad and Tappiya Falls) and car rental (like when I went to a day-visit to Sagada). Lastly, the price of their accommodation is really within anyone's reach.
Banaue is a lovely place to visit. It's green, the air is cool (no need for air-conditioning in your room), the people are simple and friendly, and the tourist attractions are great. Don't miss to visit the Banaue, the Batad, the Hapao, and the Bangaan Rice terraces (among many others), the Tappiya Falls, and Sagada (which is roughly 2-3 hours away from Banaue by car). For reservation, contact +63920-540-42-25 or +63917-591-0981. Enjoy!
The guide that was with us for the 2 days, Elmer, was very well-informed and very nice, I would really recommend him.

According to them, The sister of the owner is very very very nice. I proved this when where i stayed "Native Village Inn" in uhaj owner Mrs. Taylor told me to remove my stuff in the cottage early in the morning cause there are some guest coming, and the bus going back to Manila will leave 7PM at night. So i dont have a clue where to have shower and dinner before those times..
So, I went to this lodge with my friends, I had a very nice bath and the sister of the owner boil some hot water for us and didnt charge us, She is a very good woman, I had my nice dinner here and also, I saw a lot of people here too.. I could see how you will really love your trip if you stay in this lodge..
Where I stayed is a nightmare, 30 to 45 travel time to Banaue and will charge you ridiculously for a very unreasonable rude service and small cottage, and also for some trips and tourist guides..
So never stay in Native Village Inn, dont get fooled by nice view cause you'll see rice terraces anywhere anyway..
So This place is highly recomended with nice people, nice view, nice food and reasonable price!!
These are not the comments of a one-nighter passing through. I typically stay here in Banaue one or two months every year for many years. Keep in mind, you will be in the mountains, not the city.
Final note - if you buy a souvenir rice wine bottle to 'sample' on the 9 hour bus ride - don't just toss it in your backpack!! Fortunately I found it after it had only soaked some of my pack. Should have figured that the seal wasn't up to what I am used to.
Notwithstanding this is about the hotel and they are very friendly and welcoming.

as we arrived in green view he showed us our room and we went down for breakfast. during and after the breakfast he was explaining us any possibilities we could do to explore the rice terraces. he was a really friendly guy and we finally decided to do 2 day trips with him. i would ever recommend him again. if you want to contact him just ask me and i will give you his facebook...
the lodge itself provides meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack. The view over the rice terracess is nice but the food is more or less okay. I had a fried chicken which tasted like it has been fried together with a fish... not that tasty. But the other meals were okay.
our room was very clean and we had enough space to stay a night. There was no closet but a desk with a mirror and a chair.
We checked out the room in the morning and went for a day trip. We left most of our baggage in the lodge and as we came back they offered us for 20PHP/50PHP to take a cold/hot shower and they also provided fresh towels for that. a very nice service!
"take ear plugs as the noise is contant. Opt for room off the main street if possible."Read full review
