It's perfectly situated in the centre of Banaue, with a great view over rice terraces from the restaurant downstairs. We stayed there twice - in December 2011 and then in June 2012 and if we ever come back there, for sure we'll stay there once again, because although it's not perfect, it's still one of the best choices in Banaue. Rooms are quite small, but cosy and with wooden walls and the price 800 peso it's quite reasonable compared to other places in the Philippines. It's not that clean though and from time to time they have problems with electricity ( probably in whole Banaue). There's a good restaurant downstairs with a big choice of food, probably on of the best in town and a good place to meet other travelers. Friendly owner can arrange trips around, going to Batad and Hapao is highly recommended.

Very popular place right in town. The owners & staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great view of the rice terraces , and the food is excellent. We arranged a tour of Happao terraces with their local guide at the lodge, Freddy, excellent tour. On the negative side, the rooms facing the main street are very noisy....They have 2 rooms facing the terraces but they are more expensive.

Every time I go to Banaue, I stay at this lodge. While there's nothing fancy about it, it provides good accommodation and service to its guests. You can choose the type of private room that you like ... double room (for Php 900), twin room (for Php 1500), quadruple room (for Php 1800), family room (for Php 1500), and super family room (for Php 2000) ... each one has its own rest and shower room. They also have common rooms (with no private rest and shower room) for Php 250/pax. Some rooms have a veranda, others do not.

What I really like about this lodge is, first, its location. It's just a few meters away from the town center (where they hold the colorful and very interesting Imbayah Festival); there are eateries and souvenir shops down the street; and it is accessible to public transportation. Second, it has its own restaurant, that serves really good food for a low price, and souvenir shop. You can enter the lodge through either of the two and go to your accommodation upstairs. Third, the staff are really friendly and helpful. They always help me arrange guided tours (like when I went to Batad and Tappiya Falls) and car rental (like when I went to a day-visit to Sagada). Lastly, the price of their accommodation is really within anyone's reach.

Banaue is a lovely place to visit. It's green, the air is cool (no need for air-conditioning in your room), the people are simple and friendly, and the tourist attractions are great. Don't miss to visit the Banaue, the Batad, the Hapao, and the Bangaan Rice terraces (among many others), the Tappiya Falls, and Sagada (which is roughly 2-3 hours away from Banaue by car). For reservation, contact +63920-540-42-25 or +63917-591-0981. Enjoy!

Stayed here with our Chinese students during the Imbayah Festival. Booked several rooms. Quite good, per Banaue standards. Toilets are modern, ours even had a bidet; double beds are large, and there are sockets inside the rooms (a rarity in Banaue). Good resto and friendly staff.

They made the trip easy for us. They just came to fetch my dad and I at the bus station, then we had a nice room as soon as 9am (and paid just 1 night).
The guide that was with us for the 2 days, Elmer, was very well-informed and very nice, I would really recommend him.

I never even stay here but this is where i am eating my meals sometimes with my friends.
According to them, The sister of the owner is very very very nice. I proved this when where i stayed "Native Village Inn" in uhaj owner Mrs. Taylor told me to remove my stuff in the cottage early in the morning cause there are some guest coming, and the bus going back to Manila will leave 7PM at night. So i dont have a clue where to have shower and dinner before those times..

So, I went to this lodge with my friends, I had a very nice bath and the sister of the owner boil some hot water for us and didnt charge us, She is a very good woman, I had my nice dinner here and also, I saw a lot of people here too.. I could see how you will really love your trip if you stay in this lodge..

Where I stayed is a nightmare, 30 to 45 travel time to Banaue and will charge you ridiculously for a very unreasonable rude service and small cottage, and also for some trips and tourist guides..
So never stay in Native Village Inn, dont get fooled by nice view cause you'll see rice terraces anywhere anyway..

So This place is highly recomended with nice people, nice view, nice food and reasonable price!!

I have been coming to Banaue for more than fifteen years, tried them all and ate everywhere. If you want the red carpet treatment then book at the Banaue Hotel and isolate yourselves with luxury and pomp. If on the other hand, you want a friendly, clean, cozy Inn with ambiance and character, you can find no better locale than Uyami's Greenview Lodge. Here in the Cordillera, far from the maddening crowd, you need advise you can trust from a helpful staff. I know ALL the sisters in charge of the Inn. They are incapable of anything but the most patient, hospitable dialogue with any and all who come through the door.

These are not the comments of a one-nighter passing through. I typically stay here in Banaue one or two months every year for many years. Keep in mind, you will be in the mountains, not the city.

We didn't actually stay at the Green View lodge so can't verify for the lodgings. However when our bus ejected us early morning into the darkness of Banaue, someone from the hotel was waiting to usher the half asleep travellers for a (had to pay) coffee or breakfast. We were trying to get in touch with the driver from our hotel and they were good enough to call them to come and pick us up. On the way out (as our bus was leaving at 7pm) we had to come back to town to wait after our Batad tour. For 100 pesos you can have a hot shower and then relax and have a pretty good meal.
Final note - if you buy a souvenir rice wine bottle to 'sample' on the 9 hour bus ride - don't just toss it in your backpack!! Fortunately I found it after it had only soaked some of my pack. Should have figured that the seal wasn't up to what I am used to.
Notwithstanding this is about the hotel and they are very friendly and welcoming.

as we arrived with the bus in Banaue a guide from the lodge was waiting for us. He was very patient with us because we had to clear some points with the bus company.

as we arrived in green view he showed us our room and we went down for breakfast. during and after the breakfast he was explaining us any possibilities we could do to explore the rice terraces. he was a really friendly guy and we finally decided to do 2 day trips with him. i would ever recommend him again. if you want to contact him just ask me and i will give you his facebook...

the lodge itself provides meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack. The view over the rice terracess is nice but the food is more or less okay. I had a fried chicken which tasted like it has been fried together with a fish... not that tasty. But the other meals were okay.

our room was very clean and we had enough space to stay a night. There was no closet but a desk with a mirror and a chair.

We checked out the room in the morning and went for a day trip. We left most of our baggage in the lodge and as we came back they offered us for 20PHP/50PHP to take a cold/hot shower and they also provided fresh towels for that. a very nice service!

Stayed here two nights on an Intrepid trip. The room was good size and let you hear the noise of the bars across the street. There was ample hot water. The food was the worst. Dinner was so salty several of us couldn't eat it. Next morning I asked for no salt on my breakfast. Still to salty to eat. The next morning for breakfast I ordered a pancake. It took 60 min. to get and was cold. everyone on our trip had to wait at least 45 min for breakfast. We had dinner across the street at the las vegas place and it was excellent.
