The place was recommended by our guide. The view overlooking the terraces are great. It is a good place to relax. However, the woman in the counter or probably the owner of the restaurant is more pleasant to their foreigner customers rather than to her fellow Filipinos. We are a paying customer too, and we deserve fair treatment.
The guide for the rice terraces brought us here to have breakfast after the night bus from manila. Breakfast was okay, you can sit in a nice terrace with views of banaue, but its very slow. We had lunch a few days afterwards a d didnt like the food at all. We were considering staying a night here but didnt relly lime the rooms and they have 9:00 am checkout!!! There are nicer options to spend the night in Banaue anyways.
the place looks nice, and the room is comfortable. toilet is clean but there were no hot water (it was cold at night) and we had to ask twice from the manger to fix that. the staff isnt so welcoming. the price for 3 persons was expensive in compre to the other options (1300 per night). there no wifi in the guesthouse.
This lodge has a superb view as it locates right on the cliff that looks down to Banaue valley. The people who run this place was very nice to me, always smile, have a chat. And they have their own tours organiser who is great to tour around with. thanks a lot David. I really enjoyed travelled on David's tricycle. I think this lodge has the best view in town. And beautiful wooden furniture in dining room. Almost every tourists came to this place to have breakfast, meals with a view.
staffs were very accommodating and friendly; place is good, comfortable and clean; also ;has a nice view of the community and hills with rice terraces; location is quite, near the market and accessible
