We arrived around 5am and they picked us up from the bus station. Once arrived we got a coffee or tea on the house. Beds were long enough for us (I, m1.86cm tall). Bed was a bit hard though. Maybe a shelf with a plant would help create more atmosphere in the room. The mirrors and shower are constructed on Filipino length. We had to bend over to use the mirror. Service was great! They helped us with tours. 1st day to hapao rice terraces and hot spring. And Banaue rice terraces 2nd day Baang and Batad rice terraces and Tappiya waterfall, you can swim close to the waterfall, really refreshing after a steep climb. We recommend this place. We also recommend the pancakes and the yellow curry.

We were picked up at the bus terminal at 6am and taken to the hotel where we were greeted by the friendly staff and asked if we wanted coffee and breakfast as our room wasn't ready, which we never expected it to be. Then "Bambino" went through the tour options for us. The tours are a bit expensive but you are not put with anyone else so it's a private tour. We had room 10, which was a large double bed, shower/toilet and very roomy. The décor was of a homely wooded type, with a small balcony, which overlooked rice terraces, which Banaue is famed for. The hotel is down some very steep steps, so it isn't good for anyone with walking disabilities. The food was adequate. Its not luxurious or modern, but that's what added to the charm and homeliness of the place. A good choice for a couple of nights.

Rice Homestay was our home for 4 days & 3 nights whilst we explored the Banaue area with our two young children aged 4yrs & 6yrs. We booked a family room which was very spacious (2x single beds & 1x double bed) & had a small balcony with lovely views of the river below, a small rice terrace & looked over to Banaue village. Food was not bad & choices were good. There is also a kitchen at Bogah homestay which adjoins Rice homestay which we ate from a couple of times as well - Hint: Beers are slightly cheaper at Rice Homestay. Banaue village is a short 10-15min walk from the homestay, down the road & across a hanging bridge over the river & then up a steep flight of stairs up the hill into the village. We did the walk quite a few times with a 4yr old & 6yr old in tow, it wasnt a hard walk. Homestay offers free transport to & from the bus stop too which was very handy with luggage. The families who own both bogah & rice homestay are extremely friendly people & we felt very welcome. There were also other local kids there from time to time, whom our girls loved getting to know & playing with. We organised a 1 day tour through the accomodation to visit Batad. The guide we had was absolutely fantastic. A local lady named Fena. She was really fabulous with the kids and was always ready with a helping hand as we descended & ascended the mountain to & from the village, and balanced along narrow terrace walls, offering lots of encouragement to the kids as we went along - the trek was was a big feat for a 4yr & 6yr old! She was also very knowledgeable of the local areas. We really enjoyed our day with her!

First of all de booked a room and when we arrived the room is really different woth the pictures. Our kind of room was full so we got downgraded. Then the service is really bad. Very lazy staff there. They don't say the basics like hello good morning or things like this. The food is not good and their coffee worse. To add to this it is written everywhere to be silent after 9 pm but the staff and 2 guest were drunk and playing guitar and singing until 11pm because I went to tell them. Also don't book the tours there because it's cheaper in the tourism office. They charge 30% more...

We arrived very early from the coda lines overnight bus from Manila so it was great we had a free pickup and could have a nap in another room before ours was ready. The place is a basic accommodation. Our deluxe double room was spacious and fine, though needed better pillows and a better shower. Nice views, friendly staff. Breakfast (paid) wasn't great and we ate from Bogah homestay which is attached to it for dinner as veggie options were better. We had no power for the night and morning we were there but Bogah still had it oddly. We did the tour of Batad with them which was great. It did seem a bit expensive (though we didn't have anything to compare it to to be honest) but guide was very nice.
