the hotel is nice, clean, and the staff is kind, friendly, very helpful especially tabitha. for a very cheap studio type it has spacious rooms and a kitchen set, the bathroom is very clean also have a good waterheater. we will stay in ra simatupang in the future
This will be an update of my previous review. Mr. Arthur, the manager contacted me via Whats App after I went back to Canada. He confirmed that the deposit was 200 000 IDR, checked the CCTV and apparently the FO forgot to count the money and the day when I checked in, they found an extra 100 000 IDR at the end of the day. I'm still unsure why the FO said 300 000 IDR during check-in though. The FO also did not show me the deposit receipt before putting it inside the envelope, which is a common procedure in most hotels. From what I gathered, Widya was new on the job. It looks like there was a lack of on the job training for new staff? Regardless, I'm glad that Mr. Arthur came forward to clear everything. My brother said he got the money back and a free night voucher. This hotel seems to have many experienced mid-level manager, but also many new staff on the lower level. Hopefully, they can sort out the training for new staff soon. I understand that since the pandemic is ending, there's a rush of hiring new staff. Old Review: "Everything went well until checkout when I realized that the FO who checked me in, I think her name was Widya, STOLE MONEY from me. I paid my accommodation in full through Amex Travel Canada - Expedia. During check-in, the FO asked for a deposit of 300 000 IDR and she gave me a receipt. I was with my brother and he also remember that it was 300 000 IDR. I was being naive and didn’t check what was written, which is a big no no since even hotel staff here is predatory. During checkout, I found out that the FO wrote 200 000 IDR on the receipt, not 300 000 IDR. A clear case of deception, dishonest, and corrupt behavior. So, I only get 200 000 IDR deposit back. I will never return to this hotel. It was cheap for a reason. 100 000 IDR is not much. This isn’t about the money, but the experience. How can I trust the RA brand when this is the experience that I get when I tried one of their hotel. This dishonest, deceptive and corrupt action done by the Front Desk left a bad experience for me. Went to this hotel for my wife’s birthday. I booked their Executive Suite room for 2D1N with breakfast. The room was soooo spacious! You will get a kitchen, a living area, two bathrooms (one with a shower and bathtub), and a bedroom. I am honestly surprised that it would be THAT spacious. You may want to confirm if the bathtub is available for your room though, because it is limited to certain number of Executive Suite rooms. The pool is also great, but unfortunately there is no indoor shower, so you may want to immediately go to your room to shower after swimming if you are wearing hijab. They also have the gym but it is not their main points. The breakfast? They covered a lot of cuisines such as Indonesian, Western, and Indian. I’ve eaten at their restaurant before, it is called Layana. I have to say that their Nasi Goreng Buntut is top notch, you should give it a try. Also, after you checkout, you can try their cafe, it is called Rumangsa. They have some good sandwiches and cakes. Their tuna and chicken sandwiches are my favorite. Sorry, didn’t take many photos. I am a business traveler and regulars guest to RA residence, this was one of my favorite hotel in Jakarta, but unfortunately recent stay was so horrible and unsafe, which force me to right such comment here. Front Desk - sound like a high school fresher, will not resolve your single problem and put you on uncomfortable situation with their rude behavior so will not ask any help again. most horrible experience. Housekeeping - Another pain i have taken pic and send to housekeeping manager, Ant, corkage, and another inset will give you warm welcome in the room, used towel severed please careful. one house keeping staff name Ayu understand our problem and try to help with her limits. This all issue because our management lost interest from RA residency because they busy with RA suits opening. understand form the staff. Mr. Angkoso ( CEO) If you remember i used to call RA residence my second home, hope you underset the situation I have to write such feedback for RA residence. I had a wonderful experience at the RA Premiere on my wife birthday, the staff was incredibly helpful, the room was wonderful, clean, and perfect place to celebrate, thank you to Kania for helping me for the surprise!
Located near to Fatmawati but not at crowded traffic area. The room is spacious with full excellent kitchenette which I can cook just like at home. Could take a sport or walk for culinary spot and groceries (all fresh, citos, and more). Thank you for super friendly front officer, resto and Bu Hani RA team.
Very good service , the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the Hotel organize event to spend fun time inside for all guest, in particular I was invite to Arabic night, thanks to all staff and in particular to Mss. Hani and Widya
great place, great food and very welcoming staff . Hani from guest relations, amelia and vidia from reception and darra as duty manager were exceedingly helpful and very prompt with my requests. have been staying here for the last 6 months. would recommend to anyone. the room is very comfortable.
