The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong is celebrated for providing good value, despite premium pricing for certain services. Guests are enchanted by its elegant atmosphere and modern charm, with the well-appointed rooms offering breathtaking ocean views. While praised for spaciousness and amenities, a few guests mention humidity concerns.
The hotel's commitment to cleanliness and eco-friendly practices, alongside commendable housekeeping, has not gone unnoticed. Exceptional service with attentive staff and a variety of amenities, including a luxurious pool, contribute to a memorable stay. Although its picturesque seaside location is deemed slightly remote, it remains accessible with a shuttle service.

Great interior design - beautiful views, excellent buffet breakfast, nice staff ! Perfect for a staycation when in Hong Kong - infinity pool is really nice - we liked the eco-friendly features (no plastic bottles or single use toiletries). Recommended !

This was a family trip and also to celebrate my wife’s Birthday.
The hotel is new, tidy with friendly staff. Free Shuttle bus is available connecting between the hotel and exit B of Ocean Park MTR Station every 30 minutes. It takes about 15 mins for the trip.
Lobby is located on the first floor. The check-in queue was long at almost 4pm even all counters are opened, we spent 10-15 mins to get our room key as we already checked-in in the morning.
Our room was arranged almost at the end of the corridor. The view is great and the room is bright enough without turning on the lights thanks to the large mirror next to the windows. The hotel is an eco friendly hotel and don’t provide bottled water, but you may use the glass bottle provided by the hotel in the room to get filtered drinking water at the water machine located near the lift lobby. Only one machine is a available, we found it quite inconvenient especially under Covid situation, everyone is pressing the same button to get water.
You may discover various types of insects inside the room, I caught one in the wardrobe and it’s still alive. Some may play hide and seek with you in the room.
I have sent request to arrange baby amenities, they prepared us a baby bathtub, and bathing soup set, kids toothbrush is not available. A milk bottle steamer and a baby crib were set up in the room too. I was told by the staff at the front desk that a complimentary Birthday Cake will be sent to our room after 9pm. I have double checked that the DND mode is off but unfortunately the cake was no show which is quite disappointing. (We reflected this at check out and the staff compensated us a panda soft toy)
The pool was great with infinity pool and paddling pools, kids area are more suitable for age 5 or above. Suggest making reservation before you go. You can watch sun set from the infinity pool.
Facilities for young buddies (or even younger): we didn’t try the playhouse at Fullerton because it is a charge facility. Although the one in Marriott is small but I guess it’s enough to play and it’s free. I will pick Fullerton for sure if you are looking for a fantastic sunset pool view otherwise the pools at Marriott will be definitely a good choice for your kids.
Restaurants are good in both hotels, depends on which cuisine you wanna try.
My overall experience: Fullerton is better for couples or adults while Marriott is good for family with younger kids.

Can't go to SG, so made a good plan to enjoy Fullerton in HK. A right time to go in September, not too crowded and hot in this period.
The location of this new hotel is a bit remote but just becoz of it, it makes you feel so relaxed. Heard others making comments abt not able to book table at F&B outlets but guess it's our responsibility to do so with enough time ahead, just like how you plan for an overseas trip, don't expect you can simply walk in or book a day or two in advance. I had no problem to have a good table and arrangement for dinner, breakfast and the buffet lunch. I must say the catering service that I enjoyed there was superb, especially at the Lighthouse Cafe where I went twice, the serving team from culinary to server was helpful and very attentive to the seniors. The vibes that I experienced there made us feel so "Good Morning".
The variety of the food stations at the Cafe was quite different from other hotels that I went. The real Honeycomb for honey at the dessert station was very interesting and an educational way to show kids too.
Too much to say about this hotel, the swimming pool view was one of the best in HK that I feel. I enjoyed the session time at 1.5 hrs, good enough time for us to enjoy swimming and sunbathing.
The room is a bit smaller than we expected and no additional bed can be arranged if booking the lower grade room because a big sofa was placed in the room. The soundproofing between rooms with connecting door will have to look into it. It's quite easy to hear the next room noise if they are laughing & screaming in the late night time a lot as I experienced it unfortunately. Like the natural colour tone in the room decor.
The outdoor areas are mainly at 3rd floor, lobby floor and harbour walkway at this soft opening period. Hope we can get to see more at the grand opening later.
We quite enjoyed a carefree weekend in this so green environment, very new style that we found in HK. New hotel, good food and a good weekend!

We checked in at 9am and then went to Water World and the check in staff said we could come back at 3pm to get room key so we came back at 3pm and we saw long line up with our swim suits on and kids were very cold and waited there till 330pm and we were informed that the room wasn’t ready for at least 30 mins more. There was a lady with an orange Sino staff badge who kept saying to us this is soft launch we should be more understanding about the delays and hiccups (which is not true, we don’t care if this is soft launch or not the service level is just not up to even basic standard) and told us the usual time for check in should be 330-5pm. I told her I came to check in at 9am already and the staff told us to come back at 3pm if room is not ready they should have called us but she said given our room type is so limited and special we should expect the hotel to take more time for cleaning but I said that’s why we pay much more than normal room and we expect a better service than normal room which we didn’t get. We asked her for her name because we would like to follow up this issue after but she refused to give us her name and she kept giving excuses. We were not even sure if she works for the hotel but if she are there to represent the hotel she should take responsibility and give us her name. All the phones don’t work and even the staff need to walk up to the room to check the room and staff cannot even call restaurants every time they had to walk to the restaurant to make booking for us. And in room when we called in room dining, Express and concierge 99% of the time the lines were busy we had to walk down to front desk to make request. When we went to lobby coffee shop we ordered drinks and high tea set and even after chasers we were left there without a drink or anything for 20 mins. When we were at Jade it was cold we asked for shawl but there isn’t one available. Overall, the service level for the hotel and restaurants staff are not up to standard at all.

Hello, this is my personal views after staying at your hotel yesterday.
First of all, the room was over priced compared to what i have enjoyed: 3500HKD + 10% service charge - knowing all bookings at the swimming pool was full and we did walk in. So we only enjoyed about an hour session at the pool.
We wanted to stay and spend time to relax at the hotel, food options at your lounge is limited during tea time. We still stayed and enjoyed the meal and live band at the lounge. I dont have complaint about this field, but also realized I didn't have much choice to choose what i could eat at your hotel. And there is no convenient transport to the nearest city from your hotel.
Car park fee is 500hkd for 24 hours. Pls note that even Disneyland Resort only charges 190/day for car park, despite its far locations on the island. Fullerton charges ridiculously to its guests, comparable to throat cutting.
Kids Playroom also does charges for the kid users by section. So we really doubt the value of the money - we paid 3000ish for staying in a room, and that's it.
Sleep quality was terrible. I could smell the mold and oldness from your carpet at night. Some peanut butter smell at the pillow. Pls be noted that almost all your guests use the swimming pool facilities and if no deep clean is conducted every day at the room there would be funny smell left to the next guests.
We always enjoy the Ocean Park appreciating the memories it leaves for Hong Kong. We visited the Water World at least 3 times in a month and had no problem with it. But for Fullerton? Its a NO for my future stay. I won't recommend it to friends or other travelers either if no actual changes within the hotel charging and facilities itself.

The time is little bit short for breakfast buffet.
The dish still on my table after I get the food back. I need to put the dish into the tray for myself sometime.
I would like to share an unpleasant experience on 11 Oct 2022. I packed my luggage and went to the swimming pool for swimming and jacuzzi, and I put everything in my backpack and stored it in the changing room locker and be ready to check out after a nice shower. The staff cleared the swimming pool at almost 12:00p.m. I went to the changing room to have a shower. Unfortunately, there was no hot water even I turn the water tap to the hot side. I’d told your staff I had already let the water run for few minutes but the water was still cold. Your staff had neither tried to test nor checked the heater nor gave any help. They just told me to keep letting the water run and wait. Knowing that your staff was waiting to proceed the maintenance work in changing room, so I just speed up, and finally finished my “NICE”shower with COLD water under the COOL weather.
And there was another situation, a light changing maintenance seemed had to be proceed in the changing room during the deep cleaning period. If you don’t want any guest in changing room after 12:00p.m., I think it is better to tell them that the changing room will be closed at 12:00p.m. before they enter into the swimming pool/before booking the swimming session, instead of shouting through the changing room asking any people still there. Moreover, even the pool staff saw me here, but no one answer this stupid question. I have to shout out by myself to let the maintenance staff knew that I am a human being inside.
Focus on those above problems, It is ridiculous and unacceptable for a so-called luxury hotel. It is really personalised Fullerton Experience, specially created and curated for moments that will stay with me long after I leave. That should be a wonderful ceremony staycation, it is so disappointing to be ending up like this!

Check-in service is ok but there the in-room service is disappointed as we found that the shower gel bottle was empty also missing kids amenity set and the standards of cleanliness need to improve.
The children play room was overpriced and need to charge for extra for additional no. of parent to get in.
Overall we are impressed by the hardware and the facilities but the services from the hotel certainly have rooms to improves.

Fullerton Ocean Park HK is located next to Ocean Park. A brand new hotel which is undergoing a soft opening. The location is superb with all rooms having sea views and some with balconies. The hotel is quite kids friendly with many activities and open space for children to roam. This may be an issue for those looking for a quiet getaway.
Service quality generally is good but the soft opening and HK families creating waiting issues during check ins and outs. Staff are very professional and attended to issues fairly promptly. Some parts of the hotel are still not open and it would seem the hotel would need to expand staffing before a full opening.
The rooms are modern and nicely decorated but teething issues are still obvious. The bathroom sink was not draining and a visit by maintenance staff only mitigate it. The issue was still not resolved at the time of check out (2 night stay). The bathroom design was disappointing and need an re-examination. While the hotel should be complimented for moving to a more sustainable approach with the removal of bottled water and installed shampoo and soap dispensers, the execution shows a clear lack of thoughtfulness. Reusable water bottle by the hotel management was not filled, which required guests to go to only ONE water dispenser on the whole floor. Provide more points of refill and allow house keeping to provide filled water reusable water bottle please. More glaring issue of design and execution was the shampoo and body soap dispensers. They were angled in a very awkward way which made them hard to use.
These are small issues that detract from a superb location and the hotel’s ambitions to be a luxury destination in HK. Hopefully these will be resolved with a full opening.

These are small issues that detract from a superb location and the hotel’s ambitions to be a luxury destination in HK. Hopefully these will be resolved with a full opening.

I’ve always wanted to stay at the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong and decided to spend my birthday there. Prior to arrival, I was in touch with Sean, Assistant Executive Housekeeper. He was responsive and swift to all my enquiries and requests. Upon arrival, he also took the liberty to personally extend a warm welcome which is truly appreciated. Shortly after check-in, the hotel delivered a birthday cake which was a nice gesture.
The room itself was immensely spacious and with a splendid full ocean view overlooking Api Lei Chau and Mount Johnston. Additionally, the room was well equipped with numerous neat gadgets and controls which was very accessible. The hotel is exceptionally eco-friendly with filtered water dispensers nearby where they provide reusable thermal water bottles & glass flasks, wooden keycards, residential bathroom amenities, etc. The package I booked included a $900 dining credit and we spent it at the Satay Inn. Overall, the services were great and we were very much impressed with the food quality, particular with the Hainan Chicken and Fried Noodles with Prawn. What was most unexpected was the attentive services by Patrick where he assisted to pack our food which we were unable to finish and he even proactively offered to pack together the sauces for our takeaway.
Upon departure, Sean once again extended a fond farewell together with Selby, their Assistant Director of Front Office. What a nice and warmth wrap-up to a wonderful stay. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I hope to be back on a return stay in a near future, thank you to everyone from the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong!

The rooms at the Fullerton and very modern and have incorporated many elements clearly designed to protect our environment. I appreciated greatly the absence of the plastic water bottles and the use of ecologically friendly items throughout the hotel. A wonderful experience with a friendly and helpful team.

There's nothing much within walking distance from the hotel. If you want anything at night, the nearest would be in Aberdeen. It's around 10-15 minutes drive away.
During office hours, you can try Nan Long Shan Road Cooked Food Center (a hawker center). This place is around 5 minutes drive away.
They have shuttle bus to go hotel, every 30 mins
