I stayed this hotel for quarantine hotel. When I xame in, the room is not clean full of dust. Food is terrible. Drinking water that provided is not enough and when I asked for more the staff said No! Food delivery from outside is limited with specific time of delivery only. Wifi is not good. Not recommend to stay here.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel, I feel that the amenities offered in the room were well thought of for guests who are quarantined, I do not need a big room, as it is only me staying in the room, a clean room, with lots of water,( we were given 1 box of bottled water), soundproof room. I have done 21 days Qtine in another hotel, the room was a similar size as this but I would say - this is far better. The staff as well are nicer, and friendlier, you do not feel that you are treated like an "omicron" they are efficient and quick to respond to your request -- highly recommend to anyone single travelers, rooms were newly renovated or redesigned I think. Thank you, Henry Leung - Director of Front Office, and to your team, for looking after our stay,(though we still have a few days left) thank you for accommodating my request in a timely manner, kudos to you and your wonderful team. Chat - room 2104

The hotel is an extension of their regular hotel, my room is on the 19th floor taking an elevator to the 7th first then onto another to the 19th - the reviews that they have were not what I got and experienced, my room overlooks a lot of building and h the AIA building an - the government shuttle here was fast and staffs were waiting for the shuttle when arrived The following was what I experienced since Day1 Empire Prestige Hotel in TinHau Room on the 19th floor, an extension of the hotel, take a lift then transfer to another - staff reception is courteous and friendly - room small with a window 12 bot of 1.5 L water, few small bot of bath gels, shampoos and conditioner - Window facing the back of same buildings but you can see to the right a school building on a hill - The charging station does not work too well though they have sent me another extension cord, I’ve using the only one I brought - TV has the basic channels - The bathroom has a shower stall with 2 shower head, the stationed and a handheld, water run is good - The bed is doubled queen and has good pillows and soft duvets - A small safe, a small fridge and a small kettle with initial supply of instant packets of coffee, creamer and brown sugar - 3 meals a day with the 1st waiting for me open checkin, was udon and duck breast with a few beans and a gyoza, mango boxed packet drink, dinner last night was 2 pcs of chicken with rice and vegetables in a section box - meals are served 3 times with morning at 7:30am, lunch and dinner at 6pm - Breakfast this morning was 2 soft-boiled eggs , 2 sausages, cherry tomato, a few beans, cauliflower, tasted good and warm, pack of vita malt milk Day 2 dinner- beef stew with a sm fried egg and fried rice with shrimp pea and bbq pork Day 3 breakfast- dim sum with gar fouettés, siu mind and糯米雞 - food so far have been delicious and varied - meal times and personal effect deliverance was punctual and as scheduled - Health officer come 6 times to give you your PCR testing during the 21-days stay

A quarantine hotel where you find a used condom packet, used slippers and used tissues under your bed and a clump of human hairs in the shower drain. And the hotel reaction - no apology or refund, just messages demanding proof so they can verify the "validity of my complaint". I kept finding human hairs in the room during my 21 day stay. Terrible internet connection that the hotel said was only for "web browsing and emails" and threatened to cut off inmates (we were not treated like guests) who used more than one device. The hotel does not clean your room when you are in quarantine so it felt very unhealthy, particularly as it had sealed the windows. Changing rooms is complex under the Q rules, and from what other guests were saying in a chat group there was no guarantee it would be any better.

Dirty and dusty room. Internet connection is bad. Staff is not helpful and keeps lying/making excuses. Unbelievably humid room that walls, beddings and ceilings are all wet. We could not sleep on it or there is no one moment we do not feel heavy because of this insane humidity. Hotel tends to keep the AC as low as 10C to cover the bad smell as well as keeping mold away. Once we change the temperature to something like 20, water comes out and mold too…Very disgusting and very unhealthy living condition.

Review of our Quarantine hotel: Empire Hotel Hong Kong - Causeway Bay In short: AVOID this hotel if you care about your mental & physical health. We booked this hotel 2 weeks ago, as most hotels were fully booked and this hotel has rooms with connecting doors and a desk. Both my wife and myself required this as we will be working and having conference calls throughtout the day. Reservation & price: We booked directly through the hotel reservation line and received the confirmation by email for 1500 hkd a night incl. Tax. For 2 rooms with double beds. We had to send over pictures of our creditcard front and back. (Cover the 3 digit!) And other details as HK gov. Requires the check-in to take less than 5 min. After booking they will send you their house rules...summary: no refund and they allow only delivery of items smaller than 40x40cm. Items like monitors are too big. Check-in We arrived at the hotel at 21:00 (we landed at 16:00) and had to measure our temperature and disinfect our hands. One of the hotel staff was cleaning everything behind us, starting from the carpark mopping the floor, windows, door. While talking with the frontdesk she was standing ready with her bleech and towel. Hygiene: very poor As this hotel recently has been added to the Quarantine hotel list we suspect it has been unused for a while. The rooms are VERY dirty. There is mould growing EVERYWHERE, on the doors, walls, mini fridge, carpet, etc... Under and next to the bed we have found 10+ moths casing. We stopped counting. Rooms: small Both rooms are 17m2 with clean towels, bedsheets and towels for 2 weeks. Lots of bottled water. Some tooth brushes and soap. Water pressure and temperature are good. Bed: short We got twin beds instead of the double we booked and the beds are short. I am 1.84m and my ankles are hanging over the bed. Room condition: freezing cold and humid We turned off 1 Aircon in the most mouldy room which makes it a little bit better and keeping the mould spores there. Desk: tiny and low The desk is small but large enough to put a monitor and your keyboard. The chair is way too low so the table might be at chest level for some ppl. Internet: slow The WiFi can handle multiple devices, but it is slow. At 2 AM the speedtest result was 4M/4M. The rooms do have wired broadband internet but it will cost 50HKD a day. After entering our room we immediately contacted the frontdesk but they told us that they were not allowed to change the rooms without approval from the government. We called the hotline and they told us it will take a few hours to days to assess our situation. They will not allow us to change hotels as that would be too much of a risk. The hotel later called us that they did not have any other rooms. A bit of a nasty start of our stay in HK, but we will be able to see our family and friends :-). We just hope we don't get sick from the Aircon and room. Stay safe and sane!

The floor is full of dust, its awful make sure you put on the slippers. Bedding is okay, Bathroom is okay. The hotel is located in noisier streets but the soundproofing of the hotel is bad. Well, probably won’t come back again.

I was slightly disappointed with my experience at The Empire Hotel - Causeway Bay. I was tired from an overnight flight so I didn't bother to approach reception for a possible room change, that I took a shower and a nap, then relocated to a different hotel for the following reasons: Wifi - internet is available, complimentary, however network was poor that I couldn't make calls through Wechat and sending voice messages would take a long time to send through. Room - it was adequate, but outdated. Supposedly you had 2 choices of pillows of soft or firm (2 soft, 2 firm), but all 4 pillows were soft. The rainfall shower head seems like it was out of use for awhile where the streams of water were coming out cluttered. The regular adjustable shower head was crooked, and that you had to stand close up to the wall to have the water on you. Room window was small which made the room seemed very enclosed. And finally, TV had only local channels therefore not so foreign tourist friendly. There are a couple of positive features of the hotel: Location: situated close to a tram station, with easy access to eateries and convenience stores near by. Located in a quiet area of town, so it's great for people who are sensitive to sound affecting their sleep. Breakfast: Good range of breakfast of western and eastern choices, with a pancake machine available. But the air con in the dining room could be toned down/warmed up, too cold.

Great location that is close to the popular eateries and shopping centres. Service was as expected for a 4-star hotel.Great selection of food in the breakfast buffet which was on between 7am-11am. 5 mins walk from Tin Hau station and Ding Ding (Trams).Lots of restaurants in the surrounding streets to choose from and 7eleven just around the corner for general groceries.
