The staff is just awesome, especially the driver who always ask us if everything's ok,and make sure that we have everything to be happy. There's a nice spot where they can make a small fire, you can listen some relaxing music with members of their family.🔥 On the roof top there's a jaccuzi, and some places all around to relaxe. They can arrange you all the tours you could imagine for abordales prices. It's a family business, all employees are so friendly. Every morning they set up the breakfast around the pool so we can enjoy the sunrise. We took the Deluxe room, and it felt like paradise. I would recommend it for every kind of trip; family, couple, solo or business.
Nothing less than 10/10.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Assan & his team pampered us ! Our room was very nice and clean. The food is fresh, from the garden (!!!), very good and well cooked. The price of the room isn't expensive and, even the price of the dinner is cheap for the amount of food that you have.
The place (westbank) is very nice and quite. And with the sun, we enjoyed the pool, always clean. We recommend!

An experience to behold. Located in the peaceful heart of the West Bank, this hotel delivers an extremely pleasant experience to those who decide to stay here. We were immediately greeted by pleasant staff who attended to all our needs and guaranteed our comfort without being overbearing, invasive or imposing any form of unnecessary pressure (which is a positive thing taking into consideration the experiences one may have during their stay in Egypt). In keeping with the fantastic Egyptian hospitality, we were served a fresh drink and fruit sourced from their farms, which were refreshing and delicious. The hotel is beautiful, constructed with a gorgeous architecture, with an ample exterior which includes a pool which we enjoyed very much. The decor pays homage to Ancient Egyptian history, with various paintings from the walls of Tutankhamun’s tomb decorating the exterior as well as the rooms being named after important figures from this era. The room in which we were allocated was fantastic, very clean and comfortable, including a private bedroom area with a varanda looking out to the Nile, a kitchenette and living room space as well as a generous bathroom area. All the amenities described were included, and the staff would go above and beyond to guarantee our comfort and satisfaction. Wifi is available throughout the entire hotel. We dined in the hotel, and the experience was wonderful (as so was the food!) a definite thing to do here if one wishes to have their taste buds delighted by typical Egyptian cuisine (we had the chicken tagine if you want to give yourself a try). The breakfast was delicious, served at the hour we decided, providing one with the much needed energy to explore Luxor. Throughout the day we would be offered fruit from their farm as well as a variety of refreshing drinks which would help one cool off. A special word on the ever helpful and friendly Hassan who served us impeccably, always with a smile, resolving any question or issue efficiently and quickly, who definitely contributed immensely to the wonderful experience we had here, he is truly one of the jewels of this hotel. Overall, we would recommend this stay to anyone staying in Luxor.

The driver from hotel didn’t pick us up at airport. Taxi was 400 Egyptian pounds, got lost multiple times, spoke w hotel owner 2 or 3 times during drive to get directions using our phone. Area is HORRIBLE. We did get 2 beers from owner who was leaving and ‘Hassan’ was in charge. The rooms don’t have numbers. We were on 3rd floor in a “deluxe suite”, no elevator, dim lights, toilet didn’t have water on, took Hassan several trys to get it on. Hot tub on roof terrace but door was bolted. Interior stair lights stay on 1.5 minute then you have to press the button again. Mosquitoes in room. 1970’s bedspread and matted rug. We used the 2 ‘ottomans’ as luggage racks, brought plastic chairs from balcony to sit on. There was a mini fridge with 2 juice boxes and 4 canned drinks, 2 burner stove top, sink in the “kitchenette “. No bottled water, no cups, plates, silverware, no coffee maker, no pot or pan: nada zip zero. Lizard in the bathroom running up the wall. There is nothing outside this house that I’d even remotely walk to. And knowing what rough dirt roads and the distance we traveled to get here I’d not even consider trying to take a cab anywhere after dark. Dinner was nice: beef stew and chicken stew, rice, pita, tahini, salad, broth soup, and dates, guava, and melon for dessert served on 2nd floor balcony w great view and laundry drying on a rack, very low light, we used our cell phones to identify everything. No hot water in shower. Breakfast: flies, stale bread, bad coffee. We turned down offer for omelet and told the waiter/cook/driver we were leaving. We asked what we owed for last night’s dinner and he said, “Don’t worry about the dinner” (we were prepaid here for 3 days). We moved to an east side hotel.

My wife and I stayed three nights at this hotel and were very pleased. We wanted a quiet, beautiful spot with a nice view, and this was just the ticket. We stayed in the Tutankhamun room on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the pool, a farm, and the Nile. At night the lights of Luxor's East Bank reflected on the river.

Food was very good. The chef prepared Egyptian dishes for us each night with proteins of our choice, and was responsive to requests. All the staff was pleasant and helpful.

The only caveat is that the hotel is not near any sort of shopping or restaurants. This is precisely what we wanted! It was quiet, rural, and pretty. Each day the driver, Mohammed, and a local tour guide, Sherif, drove us to whatever sites we wanted to visit and Sherif showed us around. Mohammed has a clean and well-kept car that's comfortable to ride in. The charge for this service was reasonable, and less than a competitor we checked with.

My wife and I were very pleased with the hotel and recommend it to couples and other travelers seeking a quiet and beautiful retreat in Luxor.

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Luxor staying at the Jewel of the Valley on the West Bank of the Nile.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home in the relaxed environment away from the main area of Luxor. Surrounded by banana palm plantations with a view across the Nile to Luxor temple and the city of Luxor was an experience that could not be duplicated.
The owner Hagag organised an itinerary for us to visit all of the main attractions with guides and private vehicle that suited our pace and expectations perfectly. There was no hard sell or overinflated prices either.
Sailing on a felucca or boat trips over the river to Luxor departed from a small private jetty about 300m from the hotel. A quick mention to the staff and a boat would be booked for a very cheap price to head into Luxor to visit the temples, shopping or just strolling the streets.
The staff at the Jewel must receive a mention as they treated us like family. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, offered advice to make our days easier, and were happy to sit and talk with us about everything and anything. It was genuine Egyptian Hospitality at its finest.
Breakfast was served each day at a time the suited us (and our plans) and was always a great start to the day. Dinner each night was some of the most amazing food we have had in the country and was served either on the balcony overlooking the Nile or in the open air grounds of the hotel.
All up we had a most enjoyable stay at Jewel of the Valley and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed trip to Luxor away from the bustling tourist hoards. 10/10!

The hotel is located on the west bank of the river. The hotel itself is very clean, rooms are airy and bright. The views are gorgeous and location is mesmerizing.

Food is over priced and the quality is poor. Upon arrival we ordered light lunch- they served us Tuna, Foul and bread for 75 a person. For breakfast, portions are very small and bread is not fresh at all. One time bread came stale and dry as if it were heated twice.

Coffee: you will only get instant coffee/Nescafe. They do not have any type of coffee (whether espresso or Arabic/Turkish) even if you wanted to pay extra for it with breakfast.

There is a jacuzzi on the roof top, but you have to let them know 2 hours in advance before you use it so they turn it on.

Overall, staff were friendly although at times were too pushy at times to arrange tours through them. There is no reception desk. The manager, Saeed, has another job and is only there around breakfast time at 8:00. Because we had a fight at 630 Am, we were asked to pay the day before. Staff hassled us while having breakfast to pay, which we found unprofessional and rude.

The most awesome place we have visited in our whole stay in Egypt. From the moment we checked in, they made us feel like family. Not only that rooms, bathroom and swimming pool areas are implecable, but they also offer great services (taxi, tuktuk, visits around the area, dinners, shisha, etc.) with a fantastic price, tailored for each guest. In addition, all the team is totally committed and made us feel like in paradise. There is not a single negative thing to comment. Just THANK YOU for this amazing stay at Luxor and the awesome service.

I would love to stay again at the hotel. I felt very familiar with the personal and Mr Saeed tried to make my stay as good as possible. Mohammed waited for me for giving my food box for the trip to Abu Simbel at 4 am. He took me to a wedding reception and showed me the area. Nobody asked for a tip and the laundry service was included in the price. I loved the atmosphere in the hotel. Moreover I liked the architecture with the dome over the bed. I saw the Nile and the east bank frome the pool and the rooftop hot tub was prepared for guests.
