I’m currently staying at Crown Park Hotel in the heart of Seoul. This hotel is situated in a quiet area of buzzing Myeongdong. The staff is very nice and helpful and everyone here is very professional and friendly. The gentleman who checked me in spoke perfect English, and even those with zero Korean language skills will be absolutely comfortable here.
The level of cleanliness is impeccable and they provide you with two bottles of complimentary water everyday. This comes in very handy, as it is very hot these days.
I booked an entry level room, which is perfect as I’m a solo traveller who is mostly out and about, but a couple may want to consider a higher category as it is not very spacious. I do love that the bathroom comes with a tub, which I certainly take advantage of after long days of sightseeing. Currently, their restaurant is closed as an aftermath of the pandemic, which is a shame as I’ve heard great things about it. As traveller, this shouldn’t put you off, as there are many eating options around the hotel (all the reasons more to try Myeongdong food market). For any midnight snack cravings, there is a small convenience store right next to the hotel.
The nearest train is a two minute walk away, and super easy to reach. Within less than a minute of walking distance, there is also Myeongdong underground shopping with a multitude of touristy souvenirs, kpop franchise, clothing, suitcases, and daily needs.
What I loved was that an European, I didn’t have to worry about adaptors because the electrical outlets are the same.
I will definitely return to this hotel upon my next trip to Seoul, which is already in planning, as this city is too amazing and too culturally rich to only visit once.

I stayed at the hotel during a vacation with family in July 2019.
The location is superb for tourists,
Just a 5-minute walk to Myongdong shopping area and there are entries to Sogongdong underground shopping center next to the hotel. Lotte Dept. Store is just across the street. The hotel is also very near to Seoul tourist attractions, such City Hall and Namdaemun. There are a few subway stations nearby and around the hotel you can many coffee shops (incl. Starbucks) and restaurants.
A little note to those with cars: Finding a parking space seemed to be a rather challenging in the neighborhood.
The hotel atmosphere is modern and clean. The staff are very helpful.
We checked out after a few day stay and then rechecked in again 3 days later. Our rooms were immdiately upgraded upon our return. Very good customer loyalty program!
A special mention of Mr Zechariah Kim, the Room Division Manager. We really enjoyed our chats and his accompaniment at the lobby downstairs. :-)

Rooms were equipped with exceptionally comfortable beds, and each room had its own dedicated router, ensuring excellent in-room WiFi.
The hotel's convenient location allowed for easy access to Myeongdong shopping and food street, which were both within walking distance.
Wished the twin room had more space for opening big luggage. Additionally, it was inconvenient that the two rooms we booked for our family of five were located on separate floors.

I have been to Seoul many times and am
Shocked at how dismissive this particular staff (Stella Yu) is.

We went to reception (17F) asking if they could assist in calling a car and she immediately said the hotel only calls for airport transfer taxis.

When I told her that her colleague the night before did help me call a taxi, she then told me to concierge (1F). It was already a little unpleasant as one could immediately feel her disregard and annoyance to help.

When I got to 1st floor, she was there too and she REPEATED herself again that the hotel will only call airport transfers and I should wait by the road for a taxi.

When I explained it’s festive season (New Years Eve and Day) and that I had a cold and long experience waiting the day before, AND the fact I’ve been to Seoul many times and hotel concierges always helped to call a taxi when possible, she then said she doesn’t have the app.

I then asked if she could call the taxi hotline as I understood the app could be on their personal mobile.
She repeated herself, tried to dismiss me asking me why I can’t go outside to wait, and I repeated myself.

It was NOT a language issue.
She perfectly understood me.
It was her attitude.

Finally, there was a younger colleague beside her who managed to call a taxi in less than 3min.

I am very disappointed the new year day started off with experiencing such service attitude from a 4 star hotel as I’ve always thought Seoul had some of the most helpful and kindest concierge service I’ve had.

I haven’t review the rest of the hotel experience as this morning’s experience was just terrible.
I genuinely hope this doesn’t happen to anyone and that the rest of my stay would be good.

Location is not bad as near to Myeongdong while not in the midst of all the chaos. Took airport bus 6701 and alighted at the Westin Josun Hotel which is a stone throw away from the hotel. The standard quad room which we booked were actually 2 connecting rooms. The rooms were not big and one might find it a bit too cramped but this just made us to venture out more and longer.
Check-in is strictly 3pm and we could leave our luggage with the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to the City Hall metro station and there’s 2 convenience stores nearby and a Starbucks downstairs.
Toothbrush and razor are chargeable while the others were free.
Overall a rather nice stay with everything working though my friends weren’t too happy with the room size.

Value for money. Hotel is well located near subway. Room is clean. However, house keeping service can be improved, bath towel was replaced wrongly with hand towel. Coffee cup was not cleaned if it’s not placed in toilet. One power point was faulty. Other than these, overall, it’s a good stay. Staff are polite and friendly.

My friend and I stayed from 11-16th October 2022. First the good stuff. The location was perfect. Staff were helpful and room was clean.
On our 3rd night they ran out of bath towels. They gave us one bath towel and 3 hand towels. When I insisted on getting a towel they said they will give us one in the morning when the laundry delivers (no time). I was livid because this was a hotel and towels are basic. They found one that night. The following night - the same thing happened. So what happened to the laundry delivery? I did not bother to complain this time but it was a big point against them.
Bring your own toiletries. the amenities were not good. Shampoo, conditioner and bath gel were 3rd rate and felt like they were diluted. So I guess I'd give it a fair rating.

Rooms are small (we do know when we book, the location is good). Service: CMI, we requested a few items via Agoda booking, (ie, connecting rooms, extra pillows) with simple requests. We were given the same floor (they may not have connected rooms, but would appreciate it if they provide next or opposite rooms). No extra pillows, when we call room service, they mentioned they do not have enough pillows and would send us the next day when others checked out. The next day, called again and no extra pillows, reasoning: no extras in the housekeeping (their pillows in the room are very flat). TV not working in the room, for some reasons, the source has veen set by default to hdmi cable ( this is easy to solve by ourselves, but it just does not go to TV mode) called room service again, 1 "engineer" came, can't solved and he called his colleague. solved the TV but did not tell us the.. how to. (the hotel used the term engineer). But the next day, same TV issue again! This time, front desk said he would check and call back, but with no availed. No toothbrush, no mini bar (we are ok with this). no aircon during march, need to open the window for cool air ventilation. But if your room with the "wrong" facing, you might get oily air pungent in the room. No refill of shower cap. Verdict: stay elsewhere. There are much better service hotel in Seoul. They do request for your credit card for deposit here. (I use present tense, that's because we are still here).

A really uncomfortable stay for my family. I booked a connecting room for 4 pax and each room was supposed to stay 2 pax but felt more like 1 pax room. Hardly enough space to open 2 mid size luggages. We had to open the luggages right beside the exiting door. The worse part is, the hotel informed us that only heating system is on during this winter period, no aircon. So we need to open the window for cool air and ventilation. Since it was a connecting room and the 'inner' room had no window, the room was stuffy and hot. We had to open the connecting door all the time to allow ventilation and cool air to pass which left both sides no privacy. The other room got cold after a while but couldnt close the window because the inner room would get hot and stuffy. Overall bad room design. The only saving grace was the good location but i would not book this hotel again. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but because our previous flight got delayed, we only stayed 1 night and this was a blessing in disguise.

Stayed here for a few days, paying for an upgraded room. The room was spacious, clean and suited our needs. It was very quiet, despite being a very central location in Seoul, and incredibly convenient to shopping, restaurants and the City Hall station - in particular in winter the stairs to the underground shopping centre right at the hotel's entrance help to avoid the cold.

The service from staff was excellent - while the laundry facilities shut for the night at 10pm they were willing to come down and open them to allow clothing to be collected that had run past the closing time, and also quickly brought a television remote to our room when we thought we had lost ours.

The airport bus stop is behind Young Lotte Mall. Once you step out from the hotel stay on the same side of the road walk towards to Young Lotte Mall and go around it. You will see a standing pole with sign that’s the bus stop. It’s a open air bus stop no shelter and no seats. Enjoy your trip!

During the Winter the heaters are on and there is no A/C however our room was on a high floor and we opened a small side window with the drapes covering it which worked perfectly.

There are tour style buses going from the Airport to Namdaemun Westin Hotel which is sort of next to the Crown Park Hotel. (Across the street and 2 buildings away.) Warning: They do stop off or pick up at 3-4 other hotels in the immediate area.
