This is a scenic hidden gem I found right by ParkHotel at Olympic Park. A tiny alley leads to a pagoda with a wonderful view into the park. It was so peaceful and beautiful when I went. Go check it out while the trees are still colorful.

This is an old hotel whose rooms can use renovations. But they mainly cater to school kids who are in Seoul for excursions, so it seemed (it can get noisy and boisterous as a result).having stayed in winter temperatures, the rooms were heated but the thermostat could not be adjusted. So I turned off the heater but I could not get enough air circulation from the outside cold air because the windows did not provide adequate ventilation. Some of us asked for electric fans which was limited. I suffered though out the night trying to sleep in warm, uncomfortable conditions. It is also about 1.5 km from the shopping area (Lotte Mall) and the return walk is an uphill climb.

Walk straight 10 meter from Olympic park and Seoul parktel is on the right side of the road. The staff are welcoming the guests very well. The hotel is old compared to other hotel on same rates, but it does not make the room and service less satisfying to guests. There is big window approaching buildings and road which makes the scenery magnificent enough even at night. Toiletries, bath tub, hair dryer, and outlet available in the bathroom. Water dispenser available close to elevator so you can refill your water as needed. Breakfast are served from 7 with some variations from Korean traditional to western cuisine, staff also will take your plate once you are done eating but never the spoon/fork/knife. Recommended for those who are seeking pleasure of staying nearby lotte world, having meeting/conference

Nice location but that's about it. The city is awesome but this hotel needs updating big time. The rooms are poorly designed and look like they have not been updated since the 1988 Olympics. Walls are thin and too many kids running up and down the halls to get a decent rest. The beds were shotty, no comfort at all, too thin and hard. This is not a luxury hotel by any means and to list it as that is false. Television programming had subtitles and no international flair at all. If these are travel destinations, they should have worldly accommodations for those travelers.

The hotel is average at best. Service is OK but the hotel needs to be updated. Breakfast is again OK and is interesting based on the Olympic plaques surrounding the room. Rooms are small and beds like so many have indicated, are old and hard. Good location the the old Olympic facility and park

I had to stay near Asan Medical Center so this location was perfect and the bus stop was right by it. The hotel is comically dated but the staff are wonderful. My room was enormous, and enormous windows but only has 2 twin beds. I had free wifi in the room and free daily water bottles, tea kettle in the room and both 220 v and 120 V outlets in the room. Besides the 80s decor and fashion the beds are hard but also lopsided and painful. But, the hotel is wonderfully quiet and peaceful and is 200 m from Olympic park.

This hotel is located at Seoul Olympic Park which was built up with Seoul Olympic game in 1988. Access from subway(Metro) is not so kind. The nearest subway station is Mongchon Tosong, Line No. 5, it takes about 10 minutes on foot with a large carrier. There is no restaurant or convenience store around the area, but a simple souvenir shop at B1 floor. If you are on business trip, single and your business spot is at Songpa-gu district, your choice is not too bad. But if you are interested in tour or more activities, it is not recommendable. Bed and amenities are not terrible, but room is too small for family. I stayed alone 2 nights in a family room at 15th floor. Frankly speaking, the room was not suitable for family. Free wifi access code is provided at front desk, but using personal computer at business center requires fee(1,000 KRW per 10 minutes). The business center runs from 7AM to 10PM. Using business center PC about an hour till 10PM, they charged only 3,000 KRW.

I write this from my lopsided slab of granite that is so loosely referred to as a "bed". It is 4 am and I want to go home. I have two more nights in this chamber. I cannot change hotels because I am here on a school trip with my students and I need to stay with them. I hope they are okay. I wonder if they, too, are awake, wondering what they have done to deserve to stay here. These rooms remind me of that time I went to the 1988 olympics. Because these rooms have not been updated since the 1988 olympics. To all the people who said in the reviews that this hotel is the best place you've ever stayed in: are you okay? To the person who said that there are window vents: thank you. You have saved a pre-menopausal woman's life. To all future teachers or group leaders who are forced to stay here: I'm so sorry.
