Located in the heart of Seoul, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas is an ideal place for business travellers thanks to the hotel's proximity to KWTC, COEX, CALT, DFS, department stores and theaters. Operating with 517 spacious rooms, the hotel has completed a 10 month project of...
Only stayed for a couple of nights while in Seoul on a business trip and found this place to be pretty good. Decent room with plenty of space. Good buffet at breakfast. Did not eat dinner here as we ate out so can’t comment on...More
Stayed for 2 nights as part of a short business trip. Impressive decor throughout the building yet not overly intimidating. Very spacious with a good choice of restaurants both at the hotel and within walking distance. Room was spacious and very well equipped with usual...More
The rooms at this hotel were a very good size, comfortable bed and very large bathroom.
It is perhaps slightly dated but i would not say it needs a refurbishment yet. It is simply a classic style of the hotel.

A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or
take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If I were you, I'd take taxi. If no traffic, the tax costs less than 10,000KRW (according to Naver map, it's about 6KM, less than 10mins). Black/luxury taxi provides better service but is far less common and costs double. And a big IF her is the traffic condition -- the time and fare can easily go up (even double) in peak hours.
Subway is convenient especially if to avoid traffic hour -- take Budang line from Suseo, transfer at Seolleung to #2 line, to Samseong station; Grand IC is at exit #5. About 5~6 stops total; short ride but with connection.
Another alternative is bus -- many buses run from Suseo to Samseong, if you feel comfortable doing so, or simply adventurous.
