Everything was superb! Location, subway trains stations, service, hotel & room conditions, F&B & other outlets discounts, free minibar.... only thing is if you get a room that faces the next building, you can almost touch it & it’s feels like a room without a window. We stayed last week for 2 nights after our trip in Pyeongchang.
This hotel is small, but have a luxury taste, great location inside Myeongdong Pedestrian Street, near 6015 Bus Station, have Movie Star Theme because the owner is a well known Korean Movie Star and Director, the room's decoration is uniquely great.
The gym is small and only have treadmills, static cycle, cross trainer and complete set dumbells rack, and one seat for presses.
Have a Small Gallery that tells the glory of the owner, on the rooftop have Jackie Chan’s Evo IV from Who Am I Movie.
The Mini Bar is totally free and refill everyday. The staff is very kind and professional.

I seldom give review for my hotel stay because I am lazy to do so. But, this hotel is amazing that I’m willing to give one. Firstly, I stayed 6D/5N to celebrate the new year with my wife. There’s no loud noise around the streets unlike the reviews here.
The room is spacious, clean, and aesthetically beautiful. When I checked in, there’s a staff named Kristy (thank you Kristy!) that accompanied and showed us and give an introduction to the room. Because of my own administration issues, I booked a family deluxe room for one night which have a bath hub, 2 king twin beds, and sofa. Honestly, I think if you have very young kids, I think it is pretty decent.
Okay, back to the service . Mini-bar items are free. I got a welcome kit as well because I stayed for many nights.. this includes heat-warmers, facial masks, dress spray because the hotel knows it is a cold seasons and you may be eating BBQ.
This location is also near to the train station. I would like to thank Joanna for making extra mile for the dress spray.

I really had a pleasant stay here. the location is extremely convenient (airport bus, market, and even the subway are just steps away which makes it a bit noisy during the evening but nothing too disturbing). Centrally located in Myeongdong. There are numerous restaurants and cafes in immediate walking distance. The shopping in the area is wonderful and it is a K- beauty lover’s DREAM location. I was concerned about possibly being too noisy, however, while some noise noted, I was able to sleep. They also provide earplugs in the room.
I cannot not speak highly enough of the concierge staff. They were amazing! Jun & Sindy deserve a special thanks. It was my first trip to Korea and as a solo female traveler, they put me at ease. Jun helped me easily arrange car service from ICN airport to the hotel. Right after I checked in, there was a blackout/ power outage due to heavy rains from Typhoon Hinnamor. The staff came right away to ensure I was able to get to my room safely. The power was restored during the night and in the morning, the staff had sent a letter to the guests affected, stating we would be compensated for that night’s charge.
The concierge staff also assisted me with getting taxis to pick me up from different spots in Seoul. They were always prompt and courteous. The night before I was to check out, I got a message from my Busan hotel that my reservation was cancelled due to damage from the typhoon. Given my limited Korean, Sindy eagerly helped me call another hotel and helped me secure a new reservation in Busan.
My only complaint would be that they cleaning of the rooms was less than optimal. While neat, they didn’t wipe down the counters where I had spilled some coffee. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to those wanting a more personalized experience while in Korea.
I rate customer service 5/5 stars ⭐️ ( I’d give 6 if possible). Overall stay: 4 🌟

This was our first trip to Seoul and we wanted to experience the vibrancy and buzz of the city with our teenage children. We zeroed in on Myeongdong, the area with local flavours and close to most of the tourist sights. From reviews at TA we chose Hotel 28 and this hotel easily lived up to the 5 star reviews.
We booked connecting rooms - The rooms are spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, separate bathtub, shower and toilet with bidet. Well inuslated for sound, we were oblivious to the hustle of the street 6 floors below. The toiletries were luxurious and they provided bath robes and slippers. WiFi was good. Breakfast was small and the same every day but adequate- eggs fried or scrambled, bananas, salad, pork bulgogi and fried rice, spicy meat, pasta made fresh,barista coffee. Located in a narrow side alley filled with fried chicken restaurants (Korean staple food) the location is perfect. One block parrallel to the hotel is a great food street and night market that suddenly appears out of nowhere around 6 pm and lasts until 10. The food is freshly made and every stall has something different to offer. Some of the desserts are just spectacular and fun to watch them prepare. Alternating with food stalls there are shops selling cheap souvenirs, T shirts, imitation jewellery, socks and tacky wallets and hand bags with YST, XV and other designer labels. There are restaurants- cheap and Michelin rated, even Mc Donalds and cosmetic stores that will satisfy any teenage girl. The staff are very friendly, multilingual and helpful with directions, calling cabs and general advice. We had such a great time in Seoul thanks to the location, comfort and hospitality of Hotel 28.

Great location to public transport like train, airport bus and taxi. The service is excellent, particularly the lady speaking a lot of languages to receive us. Though I do not like the black lobby, the room inside is good and spacious. There is big bathtub enough for couple and a shower cubicle. The toilet is separated and the spacious wash hand basin part is user friendly. Each room has a purifier. The minibar is free of charge with three bottles of water per day.

It was my first trip to Seoul and I am so glad that I made a right choice in choosing this hotel for my trip. The location is fantastic as it is located between 2 train stations of different subway lines and being right smack in middle of the shopping district, means that I can do shopping anytime. So usually during the day I will venture out further and return to the hotel in the night and do some shopping at Myeongdong. There are so many food options near the hotel too that you will never run out of options to choose from.
The little gym in the hotel is sufficient for a quick gym session. And there is also a coin laundry room in the hotel available for use.
I booked 2 interconnecting rooms and the rooms were big and comfy. The rooms were also kept clean and tidy by the housekeeping staff everyday.
The hotel staff were really friendly, smiley and helpful. Whenever I need any help, they are always readily available. And very importantly, the staff speak good English! So there was no issues with communication. The lobby male staff were also polite, greeting us every time we enter/leave hotel. I am very impressed with their service on a particular rainy day as they sheltered us with umbrellas to the cab even though it was just like a couple of steps to get in the cab. One of them even offered to dry my luggage with tissue as it was wet from the rain when I first arrived in the hotel.
Finally, here is a special shout-out to Joon and his team, who are so kind! Especially Joon, who was really friendly and welcoming. Thank you for providing such a nice stay for my family and I! We totally enjoyed it, and look forward to staying in Hotel28 again in future!

Convenient and accessible location in the heart of Myeong Dong.
In comparison to other hotels in Seoul, I would say that Hotel 28 has one of the most aesthetic rooms with a spacious bathroom and even a bathtub. Only downside would be that the TV is not a smart tv, and there was no view from my room’s window.
Overall an excellent stay given the price. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and stay here again during future visits!

Location is excellent and just a short 5-minute walk from bus 6015 bus stop. Plenty of restaurants nearby but can get real noisy at night even with ear plugs on.
Hotel guests enjoy some F&B, shopping and spa discounts for shops they have tie ups with, for which front desk will provide the necessary information.
Room is spacious with complimentary bottled water, mini bar with soju, soft drinks and nuts which are nice gestures.
The lock in my room 318 was not very tight but did not bother to bring it up to the concierge who are all helpful and friendly.
Did my laundry and find that it’s quite cold to collect at night as it is on the rooftop and you will need to walk into open spaces carpark before reaching the laundromat. Lift is quite slow.
Breakfast spread is very limited and hence suggest to visit the nearby cafes that are open (also not much variety though).
Will return to stay again for the convenience but ask for a less noisy room.
