This is a big hotel on a busy road out of the central district. It requires a train or taxi ride – or lots of walking to get to sights. The hotel does offer a once a day service to some. The room was comfortable. The shower was over the bath. Intrigued by the window that could be opened between the toilet and bedroom! The breakfast buffet had a good selection of western and asian foods but all were cold even when we were there early. The exception was the freshly made-to-order omelet but they need 2 omelet cooks to shorten the wait. Front desk staff seem disorganised - check in took ages. Wifi slow in room as well as in the lobby. Electric jug provided to make a cup of tea/coffee in the room.

We stayed at this hotel prior and after our tour. The staff is extremely courteous and always eager to help. The included breakfast was quite substantial and the restaurant has good 10,000 kyat meals too. Bottled water is provided in the room. The pagodas and market are easily accessible by taxi for 3,000 kyats or a nice 30 minute walk in the heat if you prefer. There is a City Market next door if you need to acquire any extra incidentals. We certainly would stay here again...again our compliments to the staff

We had a very busy schedule but appreciated early check in on both nights we stayed at this hotel. Lovely rooms all very clean and well furnished. Efficient staff. Adequate packed breakfast for early check out and very good breakfast options on our second visit. Can’t fault the hotel. Perfect base when exploring Yangon we walked back from downtown although it was a long walk it was pleasurable. Plenty of taxis if you weren’t able to manage the walk! Took food at hotel due to schedule so cannot comment on nearby options!

The room was great, with a terrific view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. The bathroom was perfect, particularly the shower. Unlike most hotels that I stayed in while in Myanmar, it didn't flood the bathroom. There was a super breakfast with everything I could possibly want. We stayed in the hotel twice and the wifi, which was perfect on the first stay, was a bit erratic on the second stay. This was the only negative.

Stayed there 3 nights. Breakfast was great & dine in menu has a good selection. Not too far from downtown. Price was right. Staff were great. Getting taxi was great & it has parking spaces in front of the hotel. Rooms could be cleaner & towels could be whiter. Washing machine was a bit stinky. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite.

On the outskirts of Yangon, this hotel was ok for a one night stopover. Junior Suite was large with a balcony, which was a bonus, fairly clean with a good bathroom and a supermarket nearby which sold wine, another bonus. Local red wine is good but not so the white. Not much to see or walk to around there, busy road. Breakfast ok too.

The room was a good size, bathroom is good. Shower is over the bath so you have to be very careful. Breakfast is a mixture of east and west. We had a lovely room with great view of shwedagon pagoda. We also came back to this hotel at the end of the trip. If I was to go back again to Myanmar I would certainly consider this hotel.

The hotel was good and the staff was courteous. But had a difficult experience with the hotel. Me and my husband were travelling with a friend of ours to celebrate our anniversary. We had booked two different rooms in the hotel. We booked a special junior suite for us. On reaching the hotel we were told as the hotel got last minute booking our friend will have to move to another branch of theirs that had service apartment. The hotel then put us all three in a family suite with two rooms and a sharing bathroom. This reflected poorly on the service of the hotel as it ruined our anniversary trip. Second day they did give us the junior suite with a view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Otherwise, the breakfast spread was good. The gym at the hotel was also fully equipped.

We were a group of three and had booked two separate rooms. First day they wanted us to shift to some non descript branch (other than the three known ones), when we refused we all stayed in a large two room set with common toilet. Next day we asked again, after waiting for an hour at reception we got two rooms. This time one room was as described in the booking and one slightly lower than described. The other aspects are okay, staff was really courteous, breakfast though repetitive was good. Only other thing is thier charges for in house dining and minibar were in USD and much higher than similar places around. In any case worst part was thier literal forcing for guests to shift to some other hotel in residential area of Yangon.
