Extremely impressive. We enjoyed your hospitality, Abigail, Rina and Nestor. Carolines is one of the best hotel I have visited until now. Not the normal type of hotel or resort as they dont have the usual facilities you'll find in other places like pool or jacuzzi or spa or restaurant but honestly we felt like we were really on vacation, relaxed and away from everything. Thank you. Lovely breakfast delivered to your room with a warm smile, guest room set up made us feel so home, bed, ac, ceiling fan with ac, lighting, mini bar, balcony, strong wifi, huge tv, amazing scenic view of ocean, sunrise and sunset, everything was great. Thank you, overall we love our stay.

Gorgeous resort and incredibly friendly staff! This was the perfect oasis to stay after a long day of diving/excursions. Wifi was shockingly fast. The rooms were clean and spacious.
Everyone here works so hard. I wish people wore name tags because i didn’t get their names. The front office staff were always smiling and accommodating. My favorite part was the breakfast with view. The breakfast was delicious and the backdrop for breakfast was epic. My favorite was the fried rice with fried egg! I ate it everyday for 4 days straight.
One of the workers stated that the hotel is expanding— adding more rooms and possibly and infinity pool so we hope to come back one day!!
Food tip: If you stay at Carolines, the staff may recommend a Elilai Seafood restaurant. It was ok. I personally liked Taj much better! (If you don’t mind Indian food!) You get more food for what you pay and much more flavor.

The eight bungalows comprising the Palau Carolines Resort sit perched on a hillside overlooking jungle and ocean. The views are unsurpassed and at night the tree frogs peep away. It's a refreshing break from the bustle of Koror and the larger resorts. Clean, modernized rooms with balconies and A/C (much needed.) Coffee, tea and minibar are provided, along with breakfast, but you'll need to venture forth for other meals. Staff can recommend the resort's sister properties and also provide transportation to Koror's restaurants (at a cost.)
People with mobility issues need to know that access to the bungalows is partially helped by a staff-driven golf cart that negotiates the steep uphill climb but that there are still steps-upon-steps to reach the front doors...that's the price of being above it all.
The best part of our stay was interacting with the spectacularly helpful and cheerful staff. They were friendly, professional and obliging and helped our stay be a positive one.
We would definitely recommend the Palau Carolines Resort to the adventurous, physically fit traveler who likes being off the beaten path.

If you want to wake up to the best view you can imagine, have peace and quiet during your stay and get absolutely amazing service, look no further. Everything in the hotel was clean and beautiful (clearly the new owners read older reviews). The stuff was very genuine and nice. Often when we needed a transfer, instead of making us pay they would suggest cheaper options, or tell us if the place we are going to offers free transfers, which many service providers (some restaurants and most of the SPA's do).
And of course the view! I will dream of this view for the rest of my life.
The breakfast could have been a bit more varied (they don't have the restaurant on premises, so they order it from a near by place).

Palau Carolines Resort is true island magic. It has the best location, just outside downtown and stunning views of sea, distant islands, sky, sunset and green hills.
Koror can be busy and overwhelming at times while Carolines is a quiet and relaxed retreat. The rooms are charming, comfortable, authentic and surrounded by tropical gardens and historic sites.
However, the real magic is in the staff. Guest requests are met with hospitality, cheerfulness and most importantly, solutions. Robert, Abby, Nelson, Kasheem, Lina and Limpa made my trip one that I'll fondly remember. From reservation changes to late night airport pick-ups and drop-offs to my personal laundry to help changing a tire they were always happy to assist.
I almost forgot to mention fantastic breakfasts in bed and stunning Palau! What more could anyone ask for?

My wife and I stayed at Palau Carolines both times we visited Palau and look forward to staying there again on future visits for work and vacations. We love the view of the Rock Islands from the charming bungalows as well as the cheerful, attentive service from the whole staff. The row of bungalows reaches up to the top of the highest point of Ngerkebesang Island, where they have a deck for picnics and happy hours along with WWII Japanese guns and artifacts. The breakfasts are brought to the rooms, and the balconies make for a perfect setting for starting the day. The staff in the Palauan Bai-design main house are very helpful in arranging reservations at restaurants or other services. Highly recommended!

This is the third time I have been fortunate to stay in one of the only 8 in total, hand-crafted charming bungalows of the Carolines Hotel in Palau. I can’t praise this beautiful boutique hotel enough! From the minute you arrive you are treated with excellent service. You fill out your breakfast request the night before, write the time on the order when you would like to have your breakfast, and then just like magic, a golf cart is driven up the hill to your cottage and breakfast is delivered. Each cottage has a small balcony overlooking the gorgeous Rock Islands and your breakfast tray is put on the balcony’s wooden table. I have never been happier in any other hotel than when enjoying breakfast in this gorgeous setting.
The room rate is very reasonable for the amenities that are offered by the kind people at the Carolines Hotel. To be a guest there means you are one fortunate person.

We stayed at Caroline's Resort top bungalow for five days and it was an experience we'll remember for the rest of our lives. The view is spectacular and one of the best on the island. Facilities were clean and in perfect order, with a reliable room temperature, proper WiFi and breakfast catered to your own needs. What most stood out though was the friendliness of the staff. The single aim of the staff is to make you enjoy your stay as much as possible and to let the relaxed vibe of Palau, combine with the pristine location of their resort. This place is a gem.

We stayed at Palau Carolines on either end of a 10-day paddling trip in the Rock Islands. It was the perfect place for us to stay, and if we ever come back to Palau, we will stay at Palau Carolines without question. The bungalows are beautiful and the views are wonderful. The place is laid back and the service is outstanding. The office team are always joyful, ready to help, and make anything you need happen. We especially want to shout out Nelson who helped us get around Palau and was so kind and is an excellent and safe driver! The morning breakfast delivery to our porch was a wonderful way to start each day. For various reasons, we checked out a couple of the other places to stay in Koror, from the fanciest to others right in town. For us, who are adventurous travelers that like staying in unique places that are unpretentious and full of natural beauty, peace and quiet there is nothing else like Palau Carolines! They have plans to grow in the future, and we hope they don't get too big to the point they lose their peaceful and laid back charm, but I think it'll be a while until it gets there.
