I stayed one night at Anantara and I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is beautiful and my room overlooked the mangroves which gave it a very tropical feel. My room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The service was excellent. The musician who plays live music and piano every evening was talented! I wish I could have stayed longer. Hopefully soon :)

1. Hotel Location: As part of our recent trip to the UAE, we stayed at the Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel for two nights. The hotel in within 8 to 20 minutes from main attraction in Abu Dhabi. For example, Abu Dhabi International Airport is 15 minutes away, Sheikh Zayed Mosque is 8 minutes away, Louvre is 20 minutes away and Yas Island is 25 minutes away from the hotel. 2. Facilities of hotel: The 5-star Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel can accommodate both leisure and business tourists. The smell at the Anantara Eastern Mangroves' entrance gives you the sensation that you are in one of Thailand's or another tropical hotel in the far east. There are 222 rooms and suites, including suites, deluxe rooms, and Kasara Executive rooms, spread across its six floors. In addition to its luxurious rooms and suites, the hotel offers a wide range of amenities and activities to its visitors. There is a swimming pool, a kids' club with indoor and outdoor play areas, a place for boat tours, a spa with Thai-inspired treatments, a gym, and a business center. In addition, there are five restaurants, lounges, and nightlife venues, including Ingredients (for breakfast buffets, for example), Mekong, Mangroves Lounge, The Pool Deck, and Impressions Rooftop Bar. Ingredients, the main hotel restaurant, is located on the ground floor and has a spectacular view of Mangroves. We had a relaxing breakfast with a beautiful view of the Mangroves in a daily basis. As soon as we entered the hotel reception, we were completely taken aback. The interior decor was comfortable and welcoming. The ambiance and design of the hotel are amazing. Although there are two elevators right close to the reception area, there are rarely long lines. Moreover, guests and other visitors can park their cars in the free self-parking area. However, I would suggest the hotel offer complimentary valet parking in the future. 3. Fabulous Executive Mangroves Suite: The Executive Mangroves Suite is spacious and spotless. It has an extra-large bed which is very comfortable. The Suite has a fantastic view of the Mangroves tree. The Suite is 104m2 and can easily accommodate two adults and two children. It features a master bedroom with an extra-large bed and a bath, as well as a family living room with its own bath, sitting area with sofa, and a dining table. Both the bedroom and the living room have air conditioning, large Flat screen LCD TVs with 108 channels, an iron, an iron table, a desk, a sofa, a coffee machine, a fridge, and complimentary toiletries. The view from the balcony was breathtaking from both the living room and the bedroom (Mangroves view). The bathroom is spacious. It includes a bathtub, a rain shower enclosure in the corner, and a water shutoff. There is a toilet which is separated from the bathroom by a glass door. The soap, shower gel, shampoo, and hair conditioner are all of a good smell. There are many towels offered, including hand, body, and facial towels as well as bath robes. The main bedroom, the living room, and the bathroom are all distinct rooms. Toilet paper, razors, and a water shutoff were among the many facilities that were very numerous and comprehensive. One sink and a big mirror are in the bathroom as well. Toilet paper and facial tissue are both of excellent quality. However, I advise the hotel to add a hanger so that the guest may hang up his/her towel within the glass rain shower. 4. Yummy and diversified Cuisine: We tried the breakfast at Ingredients Restaurant which is located at the ground-floor. The breakfast was available from 6:30 am to 10:30 am every day. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. When you eat at Ingredients, you'll be enjoying the food and therefore won't have to worry about counting calories. As said, Healthy food feeds and warms the heart and spirit. There are various sections in the restaurant for the buffer breakfast. A section for fresh juices and fruits is included in the restaurant's buffet. The breakfast buffet also includes sections for cheese and salads, hot meals, honey, dates, and a bakery. I advise taking in the splendor of the mangroves while sitting outside (if the weather is not warm). 5. Excellent staff: Excellent and welcoming service was provided by the Anantara Eastern Mangroves. The check-in and check-out processes went smoothly. The staff provides exceptional hospitality and service. They pay close attention to even to small details. We were warmly welcomed, and they were quite accommodating. They provide excellent customer service. They were doing so in a trustworthy, efficient, and precise manner. They were willing to accommodate our requests, needs, and expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly, respectful, and accommodating. They will never hesitate to help in any form. They consistently keep you happy. Moreover, a chocolate and fruit plate appeared unexpectedly in my room. Although the property is tired at the edges, it’s bones are good, and it’s well maintained - just needs a renovation. The staff have been outstanding, especially Julie and Tar in the breakfast area, and Ramesh and Remi in the front office. Housekeeping was also excellent, as were the ported out the front. On site dining is limited, but taxis are inexpensive and traffic didn’t prove a problem. We really enjoyed being removed from the bustle of downtown, and having the water and mangroves provided a tranquil environment. Can certainly recommend a few days here, as a base for taking in the architectural wonders of the emirate - MUCH nicer than Dubai.

The pillows are fluffy, breakfast is excellent. Supervisor Julie was so helpful. Mangroves view rooms with balcony is amazing. Lot of water activities such as kayaking, pedal boating etc are offered by third party companies. Overall my stay was excellent.

Gail is a wonderful person along with denny who gave outstanding service when we were there. Since there is smoking allowed in Bars in Abu Dhabi unlike in the states that is the only drawback. Fantastic Dirty Martinis and Margaritas were served, very relaxing bar where you can hold a conversation.
