Whilst my husband and I were staying as gold club room guests the following staff were very helpful, attentive and provided wonderful service, both at lunch and early evening - Zalimar, Paolo, Rajan, Stephen and Caren. This was our 2nd time at the hotel and loved each visit. The views from our hotel room of the Mosque were spectacular. We had a relaxing stay for a few days before travelling on to Australia. Do not hesitate to book the gold club option!
We have just returned from our wonderful 10 night stay with my family and parents. It was our first time visting Abu Dhabi and it wont be our last. The Fairmont is one of a select few hotels to have a significant beach and is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the corniche. This makes it the perfect place to relax. However downtown and Yas island are both within easy reach - 20 min drive. The view overlooking the creek directly to the grand mosque is a huge bonus and something we enjoyed waking up to each morning. Breakfast had a huge selection and a lovely outdoor terrace. There were many conferences and events happening during our stay with most days being very busy. Yet the team kept breakfast service flowing smoothly and we never felt rushed or items on offer never ran out. The buffet was well laid out and organised. There were always plenty of sunbeds and cabanas avaliable every day of our stay. The lifeguards were always plesant and helpful and we appericiated their attendance especially with lots of young swimmers around. Naresh and the beach bar team were fantastic and we often had lunch and cocktails on the beach each day. We ate at most restaurants within the hotel except the steakhouse and Cafe Sushi. The buffet selection in Cuiscene was impressive and delicious (please open on more nights!) The staff were fantastic at all restaurants but we would especially like to mention Eric (security), all the Bridges staff and the two lovely ladies who are the hostesses at Marco's. We enjoyed the pianist in Marco's and think it would be nice to have more live performers/DJs We had planned lots of activities during our stay and concierge were great especially Zahid and Melvin. Rafat and Mohamed made our stay extra special, helping us countless times with transfers, abayas for the mosque, taxis and lots of fun chat about life and football. Bringing a smile to our face every day. Thank you! The reception team are also exceptional. A huge thank you to Omar, Mina, Adam, Mariana and Qussai....nothing was ever too much trouble and always so very helpful. Overall our stay at Fairmont was fantastic and we cannot wait to return!! …
Society of endometriosis and uterine disorders had annual conference fairmount Centre in Abu Dhabi, very close from the airport very kind nice Front Office. There is a nice good outlet in Lobby for trying culinary recipes.
Amazing hotel, staff and variety of facilities. All of them were amazing and welcoming also accommodating to all special needs. From the arrival at hotel till departure from beach bar till JD bar all the staff were great with nice smile, courteous and helpful attitude.
Highly recommended to stay here if you are visiting Abu Dhabi Pros: 1. Location: it great location near all the attractions and you can easily go in and out of the hotel. 2. Room size: we were surprised about the room size, it feels like we were staying in a suite! (chose Sea view room) 3. The beach is clean and open. 4. The staff: all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. 5. Variety of restaurants. There are Japanese, Italian, and Lebanese restaurants in the hotel. Special thanks to Mena for ensuring our stay is Great. We were overwhelmed by his calmness and great hospitality. THANKS, FAIRMONT FOR MAKING OUR STAYCATION WONDERFUL.…
I really enjoyed my stay at the fairmont bab al bahr, the rooms are very spacious, very comfortable, the breakfast at their place is very varied and very good, beautiful view of the lake and the great mosque. and the staff is very helpful and attentive, especially Michael the concierge ,Asmae and Ammar at the reception
Nice hotel and facilities overall. Great view. Good service, very considerate staff. Meets the expectations of a fairmont. Maybe the service could be improved by the beach like having someone proactively setting you up (umbrella) but i am being picky here, they react fast and came to help when they saw someone struggling with their heavy umbrellas
It was the first time for us at Abu Dhabi, we were visiting our son and daughter in law who are living in Reem Island and we absolutely loved it! The Fairmont Hotel was excellent and the staff are so kind and attentive and made our stay comfortable. We arrived from Dubai Airport early hours of the morning and were checked in efficiently and shown to our room. We stayed on the 7th Floor Gold Room. The suite was spacious with everything you needed for a pleasant stay. Lots of wardrobe space, lovely bath, wet room area and separate toilet and sink areas. The bed was enormous and the Gold Room staff had decorated our room with balloons and confetti and dressed the towels like swans and left us little pastries and cake for our forthcoming anniversary! It was such a nice welcome; it was a shame to get into bed that first night! We enjoyed our Afternoon Tea each day and the Happy Hour late afternoon. The Butlers/Waiters could not do enough for you and all so polite. Paolo, Rajah, Stephen, Mark, Mariam and Zalimar. All very friendly and accommodating. We were so surprised that the Happy Hour included so much food, we were not expecting that at all. We thought it was just a drinks package as we were on half board as well. The food is nicely presented and served efficiently. We enjoyed visiting the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque mid-week, its so beautiful. We also visited the F1 track whilst we were there which was interesting. It is no nice not having to wait for a taxi, the hotel arranges one for you or they just suddenly appear when out and about and are inexpensive. We loved the pool and the beach. The swim up bar was fun, although we were not keen on the music. However, a nice gentleman I think realised that and handed us his phone to choose our own play list which we did. We ate twice in Cuiscene Restaurant is open from Thursday to Saturday, we ate there twice and both nights were excellent. Hopefully we will come back soon! …
Stayed for a week, lovely room over looking the Grand Canal. The guys on the FG floor looked after us very well!. Thanks to Stephen, Mark, Rajan, Paolo and Mariam. Breakfast was very good and the restaurants we are in were also good. I would also like to thank Michael on the concierge desk. The only negative was that I think a hotel of this standard should have a quality bar/lounge. The bar in the lower lobby was ok but the standard did not match the rest of the hotel
A nice hotel for family stay. The room is clean and spacious, the view is great. It took some time to check in (around 30 min in the queue) and sound proof can be better for a 5 star hotel but apart from this all is fine.
