Top class rooms and hospitality ,love to come back again ,Mr.Anas is very helpfully staff in finding good rooms and guidance.Very good ambience in and out, clean rooms and good place to stay Recommend to visit the place
My reservation needed some processing for some reason, but that didn't stop Mohammad from being friendly, patient, and proactive although I made it way earlier than check-in time, he managed to check me in a gorgeous room with a view and a balcony on a weekend! my wholesome gratitude to Radisson Blu and to Mohammad in particular!
I’ve been coming here for business nearly three years now. While staff is always great, there has been a marked decline in services available. The Executive Lounge is no longer open, even on weekends. Instead you have to go to a restaurant that constantly smells of cigarette smoke. Too hot to sit outside now. Additionally, they only have two operable laundry machines on the sixth floor. Great for those on the 6th floor but you can’t take elevator to use the machines because of the key card. Overall very disappointing this go around, will be looking to stay elsewhere for my long term stay. I am giving this a 3 star only because of the friendly staff.
I have been living in the United Arab Emirates for more than 4 years, especially in Abu Dhabi in the Al Reef and Al Ghadeer residential areas. But even though we had accommodation facilities thanks to the housing allowance that my husband had during his career at Etihad Airways, we always made space in our hearts for Radisson Blu, in Yas Island, where my husband had some Etihad discount facilities as it is one of the hotels having some agreements with Etihad Airways. My very first experience with Radisson Blu dates from year 2013 when my husband started to work for Air Seychelles. During that period, Air Seychelles was working in total partnership with Etihad Airways, also there were many flights daily from Seychelles to Abu Dhabi at night. On that day, my husband and I went to Abu Dhabi together. My husband had to go for professional reasons, whereas I just accompanied him. My son was, by his side, on holidays in Mauritius to visit his grandparents, and also it was an opportunity for me and for my husband to have a little break together before my son comes back to Seychelles with his grandfather. When I arrived in Radisson Blu, I was completely stunned and in admiration with the hotel reception decor. It was a comfortable atmosphere, a mix of wood and ceramic which was making the atmosphere very cosy. The staff at the reception was professional and very well groomed, at the total image of this worldwide gemstone :) The check-in procedure was very quick and easy. 1) THE ASSYMETRI RESTAURANT Among the restaurants of the hotel, honestly talking this is the place I love the best. I love the buffets they propose and the variety of their specialties they propose for breakfast, lunch and dinner, where you can discover all the cuisines of the world in one single place. But what I appreciated the most was how the service was done in the restaurant for breakfast with hygienic and sanitary norms imposed because of the Covid19. All the chefs and sous-chefs were all present in front of many stations for the buffet, and they were all wearing their masks and gloves for the service, giving you the food on your plate with very clean utensils and putting a barrier between the customer line and their working stations because of the social distancing. All of them, despite the pressure of the service, were always smiling and always being nice to everyone in the place. However there is one staff who worked there and whom we will never forget, since I got updates that he lost his job at Radisson, and this guy's name was Indrajeet. Indrajeet was always our reference each time that my husband or myself were doing reservations to the Assymetri restaurant when we wanted to come for dinner, even as outdoor guests during our stay in Abu Dhabi. Indrajeet always proposed us the best seats and offers possible and he was a friendly and adorable person. When we arrived at Radisson, Indrajeet was only a waiter in the restaurant, and then was promoted as a supervisor. He truly deserved it because he was competent and an epitome of what we would call a "soft heart but a tough spirit". This adorable Kerala-originated staff, despite all the pressure he had in his work, always found some time to make sure we were well served and was always present to have a chit chat with us between two rounds. God bless you always my dear Indrajeet and I wish you all the very best in life. 2) THE BELGIAN CAFE The Belgian Café is the other place where my husband and I love eating and chilling out. Its charm is really special since it is a complete restoration of Belgian pubs with old styled furniture and showing the original culture of Belgium and of its love for beer and for big French fries. I personally don't drink alcohol, but my husband loves this place especially for its variety of Belgian beers, which he loves consuming. My son, who is only 10 years old, comes to Belgian Café for its fries, which he loves to the core. My favorite meals I had the occasion to consume are the coq au vin accompanied with a mash potato, and the duck magret which are mouthwatering and delicious. However, I didn't like the bouillabaisse, which I found tasteless, since I am more used with more spicy and tasteful meals. There was a Philippine lady whom we found really sympathetic and who used to work there, but I wish I could remember her name since she was a really amazing hostess for us each time we came to Belgian Café. However, there is another hostess who is really nice and who works there, her name is Gulshan and she is a really beautiful and sympathetic hostess who knows how to welcome the customers and how to make them feeling at ease in the restaurant. 3) THE FELLINI RESTAURANT If you are looking for the taste of Italy, this is the best place to consider. The risottos, spaghetti, and pizzas which are proposed there are among the best we have ever tasted in this restaurant, and the décor is cozy and welcoming, giving you the opportunity to see the Italian chefs at work preparing their specialties of pizzas and pastas. Unfortunately I don't remember the staff who was working there, at the exception that he was originated from Kerala. But I wish I could tell him in this review a very big thank you because many years ago he was working as a supervisor in the Assymetri restaurant before being shifted to Fellini. I still remember him for his unconditional support for me regarding baby food for my son, who was still a baby and who is a very difficult and picky eater even now. He did his very best to provide to us the best food ever for our son and thanks to him, my son could have good meals to eat in the room for both lunch and dinner and he could make his day for the whole afternoon. 4) THE CONCIERGE TEAM I am very pleased with the concierge and reception service. The staffs, who come from many parts of the world, are really professional, kind, warm and sympathetic, from the security agents of the hotels to the receptionists, from the concierges to the luggage boys. Their uniform and tenues are always impeccable and they are all the time well groomed and well mannered. One of the staffs whom I will always remember and who is a sweet funny bone is a young Nepali called Babooraj. I like his sense of humor and he is always smiling and in a good mood despite the pressure of his work. 5) THE SPA Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to visit the spa except once when I just discovered Abu Dhabi. I booked an appointment in year 2013 for a massage and I was amazingly surprised to see a compatriot of mine named Premila who was working there! Premila, also known as Mila, was adored by all the staffs for her humility and her sweetness. Her English level was impeccable and she melted perfectly into the cosmopolitan spirit of the working team and of the customers and was a true professional and humble lady whom I will always keep in my heart, though we lost contact with each other. 6) THE SWIMMING POOL This is the place my son loves the most for two reasons: The first one is because he loves swimming in the pol and for hours. Each time he goes into this pool he is always enjoying an excellent time in the lukewarm water of the pool and he had the opportunity to bring with him some pool toys we could provide at the boutique of the hotel. The second reason is because it is a great place to relax and chill out when the weather is appropriate, giving you a lovely view in the sky by seeing many aircrafts passing over the hotel above our heads. I was also very pleased and surprised for the pool staffs' soft side for pets, since they adopted an adorable kitty who used to roam around the hotel pool and whose name was Shasha. Shasha was very sweet and let everyone cuddling him and playing with him. 7) FINALLY THE BEDROOMS Staying in a hotel mentions mainly that you should make sure to obtain a comfortable room for your sleepover. And in Radisson Blu, this was the perfect heaven to rest. Each time we had a room at our disposal, the very first sensation we felt was relaxation, coziness, and peace of mind. I always slept like a baby in this hotel and the beds are very comfortable as well as the warmth of the hot shower. You can even enjoy a very beautiful view on the Yas Beach and on the Golf club playground too. A MUST-TRY HOTEL EXPERIENCE I RECOMMAND TO EVERYONE!…
We were looked after from check in to check out. Every member of staff was so helpful. It made our week long break very special. We were looked after very well by Benjamin at breakfast time and by all of the staff in the Belgian Bar & Fellini Restaurant in the evening. With such good care in the hotel we did not feel the need to searc for outside food & beverage. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit any of the attractions on Yas Island. Very convenient to the airport.
