Dear All, So far, my Beirut Hilton Metropolitan stay 7-14 march has been fantastic. Due to my disability( wheelchair dependent ) I prefer to stay in a safe, clean and honest environment with excellent services when I’m in need of anything. The Hotel’s location created a safe heaven from which you can explore Beirut and Lebanon by taxi. There are plenty of reasons to stay at the Hotel for more relaxation. For me relaxation is provided best with visiting the gym at the Habtoor(connected with a walking bridge) and get helpful training by George the fitness instructor After seeing plenty of things in a day in and around Beirut finishing it with an al dente Pasta and Tiramisu at Venice(adjacent) is a must. This hotel provides plenty of reasons to feel safe while exploring the beauty Lebanon harbors. See you in October!

Wonderful and professional team , highly recommended. We had an amazing dinner in the Italian restaurant , food was really tasty and fresh. After the dinner i went to the lobby asking for room , the receptionist was so helpful ( smiling all the time) and provided us with the max information needed . We had our wedding 3 years ago in the same hotel which was the most luxurious in the town. I would like to thank everyone here for being professional and providing excellent service.

I thought we have choosen a 5star hotel for my wedding, the food tasting was good but at wedding not as good.they asked to pay all amount in advance and we did.But we expected to get a high qualty service. But staff responsible for wedding wer very bad. 1) waiters and their manager are the worst. They distrbuted plates and removed them so fast, not all people could eat their platea. One of waiters was picking his teeth, one gueat told me .another guest told that the waiter distrbuted the wedding cake plate bit in excatly 5minutes removed , and stood with tray full of wedding cake pieces untouched. 2) we called the reception before the weddi g to clean our suit after the photoshot, we camup at 1oclock the room so tired and newlyweds and the room was untouched and we had to call them again to send someone and clean it at 1 oclock and us just watching them to finish. 3) we have already preodered our dinner in the room which was with wedding package, the same as my wedding menue(3plates, 1stplatea shrimps andsalmon, 2nd plate 2 puff pastriesans 3rd beef with goatcheese and quinoa with avocado.instead we got burned steak with fries and salmon plate. We called to tell them that not out ordered food, the managers tell oh am sorry i cant tell the cook to wakeup and do for u shrimps and steak again, we had 30guest who didnt attend so there was 90plates untouched we didnt even get any, am sure the stuff stole and ate them. 4) at last i thought they make it up on breakfast, which alsoo we have alreadg preodered french breakfast. We got foul with its smell and lbane , 2 pieces of croisant w little jam, even the breakfasy had worst presentation. We left the hotel didnt eat anythg Worst experince ever.

WOW, don't stay here unless you like a really bad hotel. I sincerely believe I was the only person staying there. 2 days and never saw another guest. Arrived and asked He said go over but called first and it was closed. Finally they said go to the sister hotel and they have the 31st floor open. Have to walk through a walk way that is so hot you work up a thirst to get to the other side. Went to 31st floor to the French restaurant where there was a buffet. One of the worst Buffets ever. Dry food, Terrible food. the best thing was the chilled asparagus and Lebanon Beer. Breakfast the next day the only thing available was a choice of pastry in a very empty lobby, Even then they have to call a manager to serve you. Sincerely a joke!!!! I could keep on going but I do have to work. Save yourself some misery

This hotel is not worth the price it charges to stay here. We had a misunderstanding when booking this hotel. We had originally received a quote for $1190 +VAT which we had thought was for the cost of our entire 5 night stay. Only to learn, half way through our stay, that this was the cost of staying there per night.
No doubt, we checked out straight away. The hotel still charged us for the full amount; even though the email correspondence between us did not specify that the charge was per night only.
I've stayed in many 5 star hotels but never have I come across a hotel that charges this much. It definitely is NOT worth the price you pay for. I recommend you look elsewhere, unless you are lucky enough to forward the bill on to someone else.

I arrived at 28th Dec .till 1st Jan. My observations: - Front desk staff are amazing, specially Paurla , Polomna , Royomme and Giovomy (I tried my best to remember the names correctly) - These ladies absorbed my disappointment of the outdated hotel room and facilities, no proper maintenance to the toilet shower and curtain, I had to ask every day to put Soap and towels for 2 person! The location is perfect but no view. My recommendations is to add small touches to bedroom ( Better modern furniture) and the bathroom (like adding shattaf, standing shower instead of handle one, remove the bath curtain replace with glass partition)

There is too much to write about it, but I will summarize, please read my comments before staying there!!!!
1- I have reserved 4 executive rooms with my colleagues, but it is a trap. There is no executive lounge or benefits at the hotel. They offered me to use the executive lounge of the other Hilton 300 meters away, I think it was a joke. 2- I have paid the rooms 1 week before. They tried to charge me again at the check in. To solve the situation we had to wait 30 minutes at the reception. 3- They are charging 500 usd deposit per room for your extras 4- Rooms are outdated, I was checked in to smoking room despite I hate that smell. There is nothing in the minibar, nor a snack. Just a bottle of water. Even I had just one glass to drink. 5- breakfast was totally a disaster very poor quality. Egg station is inside the room and there is no ventilation. Everywhere smells in the breakfast room. Just look at the photos 6- gym was terrible, just see the photos 7- we have ordered a lunch at the lobby. Mine was smoked salmon bagel. Bagel was old and the salmon was smelly. Very bad 8- at the check out at 6 pm in the morning, they have tried to charge me 1250 usd room charge. Again they claimed I did not pay the room. Shame on them, they were trying to rob me. We have to argue at the lobby 20 minutes. After that they have cancelled the transaction. On the other hand they are still keeping my deposit. DO NOT PAY THEM DEPOSIT. 9- except the guy at the concierge staff was terrible. They need Hilton training

Spent 5 days at this hotel and Ali (Head Concierge) was amazing. He went beyond the call of duty and helped me to organise a group of people from a number of other countries to get to and from the hotel seamlessly. Nothing was too much trouble and I absolutely trusted Ali when he said he could fix things he did. A true asset to your organisation Habtoor - he is a shining example of what service excellence is. Thank you Ali. You will not be forgotten!!!
