Crowne Plaza Beirut hotel is well located in the heart of the capital of Beirut in Hamra Main Street, a prime destination for business, leisure and shopping. The property consists of 190 rooms ,some overlooking the Mediterranean Sea equipped with free high-speed internet, laptop-sized safe, a minibar and satellite LCD TV. The hotel features an indoor pool, and a full-service on-site Health Club Fitness Zone and an amusement and bowling center. Beirut International Airport is 8km away, Beirut Downtown and Souks are just 10 minutes' drive and the famous seafront Corniche where pigeon rock is located. The hotel's all-day restaurants serve a variety of local and international dishes. Buffet breakfast is served at Vivaldi restaurant. Our banquets and conferences are natural daylight, equipped and can welcome up to 600 guests.

Highlight of my stay here is breakfast. Huge selection of buffet with egg station. After a couple of days of "Meat Days", I was quite happy to eat warm veggies for breakfast. One morning, I wasn't hungry yet for breakfast but wanted to have a cup of coffee in my room first, so I went down with a mug in my room to get coffee but they welcomed me with a happy smile. I went back to my room with a cup of coffee. Actually the coffee tastes very good.
Very modern hotel As I had to kill time a bit after I checked out, I was sitting in the lobby. It was very nice with AC and lots of sofas. More importantly, I was still using their wi-fi.
- Water pressure is very good - Hot water shower - Hair dryer - Fridge - Mini bar - Wifi - AC
There is a gym next door, which you can use.
I think almost every room has a great view except one room each floor.. There should be 11 rooms on each floor. Only 1 room on each floor doesn't face the ocean. I stayed here twice and got a different room. The 1st night was excellent with great views but on the 2nd night, I got a smaller room with limited view (no ocean),,, How unlucky !
Check-out is 1200 but you can extend your stay up to 1400 if you request.
When I asked reception how much, she replied that it always varies.

I only had one night here, but the shoer time spent there was excellent. Early check in was very much appreciated. Reception staff were polite and very helpful. Into the room, it was was very spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped and gave nice views across the city skyline. The large bed was comfortable and gave a great nights sleep. Hotel staff also arranged a taxi to the airport for me at a reasonable price, which was very much appreciated. Definitely would recommend for a stay in Beirut.

Great location,friendly staff, rooms are somehow outdated but very clean, cosy and welcoming, with very large windows that allow a lot of sun and light during the day. However it is dressed with thick curtains that can block any lights. The staff were kind and helpful,everyone from the receptionist to the security and cleaning services were nice and gelpful. Breakfast was tasty and diverse. Something for every taste. Many kids of cheeses, olives, eggs,mankoushe, coldcuts, sousages, pasta,fajita(yes for breakfast) breads and pastries and much more, and the staff at the restaurent were very friendly too.

Location: middle of Hammra Street next to many shops and restaurants and about 15 min by car from the airport Front desk decent employees who were cooperative and allowed an early and easy check-in..thanks. I asked for upper floor room to have a sea view and they didn't mind and gave to me without any negotiation.. The room is average not super but this is OK for the price and acceptable for my short stay. Bathroom seemed to be renovated recently and the shower was potent and safe. Breakfast was excellent full of different kinds of cheese, fruits and included hot items as well . Liked the Lebanese sussages. Definitely I'll comeback to Crown plaza Thanks for the great stay and your welcoming hospitality🌿💚🌷

My fiancé and I were recently guests at Crown Plaza Beirut,for a vacation the room that was given to us was quite dirty and seemed to have been perhaps unused for quite some time; there was a constant damp and mold-like smell in the room that gave me a headache after the first night. We complained and were assured that we would be moved into another room that was cleaner. The new room was even worse. The bed linens had only partly been replaced, there was a lingering smell in the mattresses, and the curtains were unclean. When I woke up in the morning covered in bites, I realized that the room was overflowing with these tiny bugs. I tried to resolve the issue with management and requested to set a meeting with the general manager serval times and each time I was presented with different answers. When I came back I sent IHG a letter and IHG kept making me go back and forth with the hotel management again and they never resolved the issue.

In summary - nice hotel, good location, many local restaurants.
Room amenities are standard for CP, kettle, safe, reasonable toiletries. Bed quite comfortable, one chair and my room had a balcony overlooking the sea. Rooms were very quite which was a nice change from many hotels built in the 2000's.
Breakfast was a very nice spread, and never took dinner at the hotel.
Front desk personnel went out of their way to help with every question I had, and went the extra mile when my flight was cancelled and they got me resettled for two more days. So many thanks to the front desk team.
I would definitely stay again, great location, great service team and well upkept room.

Very disappointing, I have booked for half board, expecting open buffet as usual by five stars hotels. but for dinner no menu offered, and they sent you either burger sandwiche or pizza or shawrma with Pepsi can. This happened with me and I was amazed after the money I paid for half board.
I advise no one to book (half board) as only breakfast served good, but dinner very disappointing. If you called or make complaint, all what you hear (apologies) and no action.
Also A.C mostly not working.
Money paid is not comparable to value or service offered.

The worst experience ever happen. Terrible room, terrible service, this hotel don't deserve even 2 stars, The room is not clean, the bed is full of bugs, bed sheets are not clean, and the window can not be opened, worst breakfast, the chief is not professional, he can prepare a bad omelet, and quality is very poor, The bathroom sink and I requested for my room to be moved but they refuse. The reception staff are not qualified, i called the front disk for complaining, all they did was insist that I pay the amount and insisted to leave the hotel at 02:00 AM with my 2 kids I called the owner of the hotel, but he didn't do anything. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

A decent older hotel overlooking the sea with a wide balcony, room is spacious and surprisingly clean.
The stand out of the stay has been the restaurant staff who are friendly and very helpful. Their breakfast is out of this world, available at the restaurant or served in-room, with lots of options and we were quite impressed 😊

Even though Beirut and Lebanon are going through very difficult times, this hotel maintains high standards. The room with a view was pleasant and clean, the bathroom highly functional and the breakfast excellent. However, the best aspect of this hotel, without a doubt, are the courteous and helpful staff members, be it the security guard at the entrance, the receptionists or the breakfast staff. The higher up the lower level of noise. The hotel has 20 floors and I usually get rooms above the 11th floor, most of the time on the 18th. The hotel is not close to the sea shore and you need to walk about 15-20 minutes to reach the sea shore boulevard where people walk for exercise in the evening. So your sea view is a bit distant. To avoid the noise on either side of the hotel, request a floor as high as possible. If you are a club member, your complementary evening snack (really good mini-dinner) with alcohol and soft drinks is served on the 19th floor, including coffee and sweets during the day.
There are more places to choose from in the Beirut area.
