I stayed in 4 hotels in Amman and this was my favourite. Excellent location, clean, lovely communal facilities especially the terrance for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and service was very good. Room was basic but good value for money and the bed was very comfy.

Alert: SCAMMERS! Firstly, we arrived in Zaman Ya Zaman around 11 p.m. very tired. They said we can't stay there first night because they have problem with electricity in our suite so they called us taxi and send us to go at hotel Arabesque (worse and dirties). In the morning, receptionist from Arabesque require us to pay there + extra fee (probably for that ''free'' taxi) and said they still didn't fix the problem. I found on Google reviews (check it yourself) the same thing they do to other people and they probably overbook this hotel and send people to worse one. After I showed that to receptionist he called the manager and after 1 hour everything was magically fixed. Then they cancelled our reservation probably because they were afraid of bad review!!!! Stay away from this place or pray to God to not be scammed as us.

IBRAHIM IS THE MAIN REASON I chose Zaman Ya Zaman. I initially wanted to book at Jordan Tower but they were fully booked at the time I was making a reservation. Fortunately, i read that Zaman is a sister hotel of Jordan Tower. so I booked ASAP. MARY who cooks & cleans is AMAZING as well. MIKE who is in the night shift is SUPERB and very helpful. He always gives us pointers on where to go and how to get there. All the staff are very approachable & doesn't hesitate to guide & help us out. The location is very centralized, everything is within walking distance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel

We booked a triple room. It looks a little basic but believe me the beds were more comfortable than most 5* we have stayed in. The bathroom was small but the shower was fantastic. Lots of hot water and powerful. Yes, there were lots of traffic noise but it is in a prime location in downtown Amman. So you can’t have it all! We would definitely recommend this hotel. Mary who is the cook and cleaner does a fantastic job and is very friendly.Jihad on reception is very knowledgeable and helpful. Whilst we were there we arranged airport transfers, a trip to the Dead Sea and the castle trip. Mohammed one of the drivers was a huge hit with our daughter. We also did the free walking tour with Ibrahim. This was good fun and very informative. Breakfast was always good. This is a great hotel for the money.

The price fits for what you get. It is older but clean. Expect to walk a lot of stairs as you walk up them to reception and most likely more to your room. The breakfast is great. The help with activities is appreciated. Take the free walking tour with Ibrahim. He is great! Enjoy the area as you are close to downtown Amman where the traditional places are plentiful.

The place is very colorful, close to the center. A big plus was the fact that the hotel also organizes some optional excursions, which helped us, not being by car. A big surprise and pleasure was the hotel guide, Ibrahim. I felt the vibe of the city through the soul of this wonderful man.
