Would give a 0 if I could. I was with a few friends last night and wanted to check out the rooftop bar. While we were walking up the stairs, we were stopped by an old drunk man claiming he was the owner. He tried to tell us that the bar is closed when it was obviously open, and then started to get aggressive when we told him we live in the neighborhood and just came by to check out the bar, having been customers of the other bars for years. He came up in our faces and started screaming and cursing (this is when we smelt the alcohol). We were confused because we spoke very politely to him and wanted to give him our business. We got hostility and anger in return. The owner would have got physical if my friends and I stayed for a second more, which we didn’t because we saw no point in arguing with a drunk old man. Any place that treats their customers so rudely should not be in the hospitality, food and beverage industry.…
If you are travelling to Jordan, you need to enjoy local people kindness. Dove Hotel is the best place where you can meet them and feel it. In this place you can find everything what you need for great rest: exclusive restaurant with amazing city panorama view on the roof, homely Irish pub on the first floor and disco bar where you can meet responsive local people and feel the Jordanian dance spirit on the cellar bar. Maybe Dove Hotel is not the best place where to enjoy luxury lifestyle, but the best place where to feel the arabic spirt! Also workers will give warm advise about any question: where to rent a car, where make money exchange, where to get the best local sweets etc. Warm greetings to all kind peaple from this hotel!!! The bathroom was all broken and the toilet did not work. We asked for some explanations to the receptionist who did not speak even proper English, and she suggested to have a shower in the room of other clients !! The room was dirty and cold. Nothing worked.
A couple of nights of excellent luxury while in town to have a look at the Hyundai factory. Reception didn't speak much English and tried to charge us twice but was very apologetic when she realised. Close to an Emart which has everything and Lotte world also.
I stayed one long miserable night ,staying awaked because of cold,no one care of my suffering, when ask them ,they told me we await the decion of hotel honer who is a dentist ! very bad breakfast ,indeed not related to any kind of food the location is far from the city center and any place you plan to visit located in a side road with horrible silence the room is very small you can not event use the locker which connected to your bed not clean at all the tv is funny ,not working the prices of water and tea very expensive more than a 5 star hotel I can say it is a trap, advise you never choose it at all
