Hotel itself isn’t bad but I was unable to sleep due to my room being on the floor below a wedding with music that made my room shake. Front desk would not change my room and seemed unconcerned. Said the wedding was “almost over”. Went to top floor to find out when wedding would be over and they said it would be another hour. The buffet breakfast and dinner aren’t very good and there isn’t much within walking distance. Mostly American chain fast food. Cannot recommend staying here if you can’t even get sleep due to events and street noise.
This hotel looks really good on paper or a check list, but it does not deserve the 4 Star rating it has. The lobby and guest rooms look nice, but customer service and comfort are not the priority here. I must say that there is one Excellent amenity, the internet was the best I have ever had at a hotel. However, it was frustrating to stay there. As a couple, we were given only one key card, which may normally not be a big problem…except the key card MUST be inserted into a slot next to the door to get lights and HVAC to function. When you leave the room, taking the card out of it’s slot, everything turns off in 30-45 seconds. Meaning if you took the card to get back into the room while your spouse was in the shower, the spouse will be literally left in the dark! When yo return to the room and insert the card into the slot, the lights automatically turn on, but the HVAC does not! After a very stuffy and hot first night, we learned that we had to press Power in the thermostat every time we returned to the room. Others in our group learned the same way. There is a nice dining room with buffet supper which was included with our room rate; however, we had to ask for water. Food was served dry! Later we learned they charged for water, $6 for the same size plastic bottle and label that street vendors were selling for $1. Yes, American dollars are accepted anywhere in Jorden. There were no napkins on the tables, only a box of cheap quality tissues In the center of each table. At the breakfast buffet there were three choices of delicious fruit juice included With the buffet, but the coffee was either cold or lukewarm. There was an omelet station with stacks of eggs and fixings, but the station was never manned on either morning we were there. There were other issues concerning tips and guest safety, I’ll not mention. I would think that a hotel whose majority of guests are westerners would be more sensitive to western expectations.…
We went to Jordan for a family holiday. Staying in Geresa hotel was fantastic. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Varieties of food were served. Its closed to all kind of amnesties. Shopping is affordable. I will recommend all to stay.
I stayed 5 days in this hotel and although the location is far from attractions and on the ringroad, its a beautiful place with good rooms. What its outstanding is the service, my room was close to the elevators and as am a light sleeper, it bothered me, also, there was a wedding and although they finished at 23:00 (very acceptable time) it was difficult to relax after a day of sightseeing. Place was full but they managed to move me to a suite, courtesy of the hotel for one night and then another room. They called to see if l was happy for it. Also, l don't know how they knew it wasmy birthday but l came in to a nice birthday hat!! Also, my taxi for the airport for my return flight was at 4:00, as also some others and they set up pastries and juice for us. Very thoughtful. Food was good and varied, and they still managed to give a good service even though its busy. Special mention to the chef that does the omelettes for breakfast. Staff at reception desk were polite and helpful, as also the security, cleaning and bell service. Special mention to Mohamed and Anas. I appreciate their efforts. Thank you for everything. 😊…
Located near university, not much to do in walking distance, although Fire Ma Shwerma nearby was excellent. The hotel looked very nice and the pool terrace was nice. Food varied. Sunday was very poor, later in the week was fresh and with more choice. The rooms weren't cleaned very well. The main niggle was drinks. We expected water would be free with a meal, but we had to pay for it. We didn't drink alcohol by choice, but there was a selection of drinks with no prices - including the water. The bottles of water became more expensive each day when we paid. On the last day we paid on check out, and they had added 50% to the price.
Exoticca used this hotel as our base in Amman during their 10day Jordan tour. It’s more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel . It’s a 20-25 min taxi ride into downtown / citadel area. (4 dinars by Uber). The place was clean and the food was fine. Don’t expect European food though. If you don’t like eastern Mediterranean food then there are plenty chicken or burger bars local to the hotel. Rooms were clean and served their purpose well. Found the staff to be excellent. You will need to pay for any drinks with your evening meal, including water. You can take your own water in with you. It’s not the sort of hotel where you can spend a day lounging in the sun or relaxing in the lobby. The pool is very small. When you are out touring all day and get back in the evening tired and needing a shower, meal and a sleep then this hotel is absolutely fine.…
Bad hotel with bad staff Abdulelaah very bad person..all staff need training...staff very baaaaaaad Owner must be take this note..mr abdulelaah from reception make me nervous الطاقم سيء جدا وخصوصا السيد عبد الإله من الاستقبال..
Stayed there twice as part of tour. Food was just okay. Busy road, not a good location for just walking around. Across from the University of Jordan. Of the front desk staff, four out of five were very helpful.
- Hospitality perfect. - Reception vary helpful. - Personal vary collaborative . - Restoration generosity and good service. - Room service daily and clean. regards Muhieddine El Chami ad his son Abbas
